I've been a customer of pho Binh for over 20 years. I finally got to visit the Katy location.Upon entering, you will be greeted with "Hi, welcome to Pho Binh." You order at the front st this location and it has other dishes other than Pho.Unordered the chicken Pho. As expected the broth was amazing. However, the amount of chicken was disappointing. I had 4 slices of chicken. I know there's inflation but dang!! I wonder how much meat I would have gotten if I ordered beef pho, maybe 2 slices?!The decor is clean and simple. There's a I Pho Binh backdrop in the back with a bench for pictures. Overall, the Katy location is clean and the food is up to par.

Really nice service, greeted as I walked in!! Ambiance was clean and a modern vibe. The women that was at front taking my order was really informative and so nice! The food is also good! I got an appetizer, 2 meals and 2 drinks all for around 40$!

A most excellent pork vermicelli bowl with egg roll on top. The taste was spot on and the amount of pork was generous and the right combination of ingredients made this a 5 star lunch. The restaurant was clean and the waitstaff friendly and helpful with condiments, etc. Next time we're in the area we will make sure we stop in at Pho Binh!

Stopped by for casual dinner, the restaurant was quaint. One other customer was dining, and it seemed like the cashier was being trained. She took my order well. My meal was out in a few minutes, the dumplings were okay and fried to a good crispy. The filling wasn't too flavorful as I would like. The pho was disappointing and with all the fixings it became manageable but it was not much protein in my soup. The broth was a bit too watery. I'll stick to the other location and hope this one will improve. It's a good addition to Katy nonetheless. They had a variety of teas too

Great food but bad customer service. We ordered our food, and watched tables that came after us get food before us. After almost 20 minutes, I had to ask why they were served before us. I was then told that there was a mixup in the kitchen. The correct thing to do would be to come tell us, instead of us having to ask. I go to the heights location all the time and have never experienced service like this.

Ah this hurts me to give 2 stars to a Vietnamese restaurant. It's definitely not for you if you're Vietnamese or know the difference in what's good and what's not. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. The only thing with this is you are asked to tip prior before actual service, unless you brought cash. Service was fine. There was a mixup with the order, but no big deal. We're reasonable people and they fixed it. Now... the food. It pains me! Spring Rolls- Eh you can't go wrong with this. I like that they cut it in halves for you. Pho- I did not eat the pho, but the feedback is that it's lacking in flavor. Combo Rice Plate- Broken rice was mushy. The meat was under seasoned and the chicken was also undercooked. I managed to eat the shrimp but even then, it had a lil weird taste. Like it's about to go bad. The layout was nice and clean. I'm just disappointed and will not be returning.

to say i was devastated when pho binh by night permanently closed was an understatement. i have never had a better broth that is perfectly tangy and salty like that. in my post-closure depression, i decided to try their sister location (i think?) in katy. going from a place that's open til the early hours of the morning to one that closes at 9pm kind of sucks. everyone who works here is super nice. we got the rare steak and brisket pho. the broth wasn't as good as PBBN, but it was still very good. we asked for extra limes but only got 4 slices for 2 people, which in my opinion is a standard amount of limes. the meat was FANTASTIC. the best meat i've had with pho, hands down. we also got the peach iced tea - i asked if we could get it at 25% sweetness, which wasn't a feature on the drink menu, but they let me do it anyway. when you go to any boba place and you say you want your drink to be 25% sweet, it's still overloaded with sugar. i was surprised (in a good way) that our tea was not sweet, but was perfectly balanced by the lychee jelly. overall, not a substitution for PBBN, but very good.
