Pho and More

Small, family owned place. Very clean. Friendly staff. I had wok seared steak pho. It was very, very good. Plenty of Very fresh vegetables, tasty beef broth served in a large bowl for twelve bucks. It's a great deal! Steady stream of takeout customers while I was there around 7. A few empty tables. About half the customers were Vietnamese...always a good sign.Sorry to see no seafood offerings.IMO, better than others in local area.

Food is hot delicious and ready quickly. Prices fair for the quality of the product. Staff is courteous and professional.

Why 5 stars? Because this meal hit the spot perfectly. --- --- ---After a couple of gluttonous days, I was ready for something a tad healthier, but without sacrificing deliciousness. The vermicelli here perfectly nailed that desire. Who knows if it was actually *that* healthy of a meal, but it felt healthier.Everything on the menu was very tempting, but I opted for the #40: Charbroiled Shrimp, Beef, and Eggrolls Vermicelli. It had a heart next to it on the menu, signifying that it was a favorite and I trusted that damn heart.My food came out comically fast. I felt like it was about 2 minutes, but it certainly tasted like anything but fast food. Every bite was perfect and exactly what I had been hoping for. The two people working here were very friendly and I would happily visit again when I am in town visiting my family.

Might be a bit lengthy but worth the read, the reviews SOLD me and its the reason why I came. 1. Passion Fruit drink - DELICIOUS but extremely sweet! 2. I asked for spring rolls w/ PORK & shrimp and I specifically told the young lady that I did not want all those veggies and wanted more rice noodle. She said ok & even repeated the order back to me before leaving. - Well the order came back wrong. ALOT of veggies and hardly no noodles & I've never seen anyone use ICEBERG LETTUCE on Spring rolls. 3. When we told the gentleman at the front desk the Rolls weren't made incorrectly he was very apologetic came back & assured me it was being remade. 4. He comes back again to tell me they ran out of the original pork used. I asked if they have chargrilled pork & he said yes. So I said that is fine. He could make the shrimp & pork spring rolls with that instead. 5. He brought the order once again and y'all, IT WAS NOW MISSING SHRIMP. so technically I NEVER GOT THE SPRING ROLLS I ORDERED!! after that whole fiasco I didn't even want to say anything anymore. I accepted defeat! ‍6. The Pho I selected was a size LARGE, well that was the smallest large I have ever had from any Pho Establishment. The broth was so aromatic and it made me anxious to try, however, it was a bit salty for me. Overall, I had high hopes based of previous reviews. Safe to say I was let down, on the bright side the Vietnamese Eggrolls were GOOD & so was the chicken fried rice! Not sure I'll be back, unless my wife wants that dang rice & egg rolls again.

I've always been type to support local businesses and this one was close to my house. Service was great as it's a family owned business. They greeted us right away when we came in and I'm assuming it's their two sons that were the waiters. Very respectful kids. We order 2 pho and 2 rice plates (to go). Pho soup has no "pho" smell or taste to it. My teenage son had the rice plates at home and said it was not "as good as other places". Food wise for me to come back, definitely not. Service wise and to support this family owned business, I'd probably come back for cafe or dessert.

My daughters and I love this place! I've ordered pick up several times and it has always been ready promptly. Love the pho and pork vermicelli dish! My girls really enjoy the egg rolls, white noodles and chicken.

Pho & More is the kind of local, family owned Vietnamese restaurant that you just KNOW is going to be great. Simple, yet well made Vietnamese food that is the perfect spot for a quick lunch or comforting dinner.This place used to be the original China Chef that was a Friendswood establishment for years until they decided to retire and sell the restaurant. But the new Vietnamese owners are great, and Pho & More is a great addition to the community. The renovations they made on the restaurant were much needed, and they really gave the interior a nice refresh.As for the food, it's a simple, yet homey type of Vietnamese food. They have your classics like pho, banh mi, rice plates, or vermicelli bowls. My favorites so far are their beef/pork rice plate or vermicelli bowl that comes with egg rolls. You can't go wrong with this, it has a heart next to it on the menu for a reason. Then talk about service. The food literally came out in 5 mins which is insane for how fresh, and made to order their food is. 10/10 would recommend this place for a quick lunch that's still very high quality. Enjoy!Also a pro tip: Get their Vietnamese coffee!! Literally the best afternoon pick me up you could ask for.

Such a great place for a quick lunch. Food is amazing. I get Vermicelli bowl which is light and healthy. The pho is amazing too! Friendly staff and it is always clean in here! Highly recommend

Outstanding quality, very friendly people, and their Vietnamese coffee is very good. I highly recommend them and have yet to try something one the menu I did not love.
