Our relatives order takeout from here when we visit, so I've had it several times now. Today it was the Tandoori appetizers and shrimp biryani. It's perfect for a carnivore like me. Medium spice was enough to make it interesting without killing me. It makes our Indian family happy and they keep coming back. That's as good of an endorsement as I can think.

We normally eat South Indian but wanted to try something different. We should not have. Very disappointed in the food we received. It's like someone's mom brought leftovers to a potluck. The white thing was a cold almost potatoe salad dish that was just no... the rice alone was not even basmati but just uncle bens like minute rice and nasty. The Briyani was I think honestly veggie fried rice they ordered from Chinese and re did. Horrible and wast of money. I wish I could get a refund.

We ordered Butter Chicken and it was so delicious!!! Flavorful with a spicy kick. Rice was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to return. Nice little spot. Naan bread was traditional as well and very good!

We have been customers of Star for over 30 years. The food is simply the best Indian food in the tri-state area. We keep finding and trying other Indian food establishments and no other are as tasty and satisfying. The family is very kind and we look forward to seeing them each time we place an order.

This place looked dirty and I walked in and left I would not even risk trying this food. They are only take out and I could not believe the filth and deplorable condition that the dining room area was in I knew from the condition of the door before I even opened it, that I should not even dare enter this place I open the door, peaked in and ran for my life.

I walked in and the entire restaurant is dirty. It looks like a living room/closet. hands free scooters were on top of the table where people are supposed to eat. Carpet and walls are dirty. I truly think they are living in this establishment.
