Sid Booker's Shrimp

The shrimp and fries were very delicious but the macaroni salad didn't look as appealing like it was supposed to be because it had too much mayonnaise and the service and ambiance was great.

Food was amazing! Lived this place since I was a kid.I'll continue to patronize this eatery.

I love the shrimp and fries !! They stay open late which is nice after a night of partying with friends or a late night craving. It's a little spot on the corner so There is no place to sit and eat. You grab your food to go. Basically you place your order, wait around a bit for them to cook it fresh and they call you up when it's ready- so stay close and get your tastebuds ready!I crushed/ate the shrimp too fast -so I didn't get any photos- sorry next time!

Went here Thursday night to grab a dozen real quick , been coming to this lil spot for yeeeaaarrrrrrrssss. Just wish they gave you fries with your shrimp instead of on a bed of chips . Same great taste and service

Please please please please don't judge me, but I didn't see the appeal of this place?Were the shrimp decent? Yes. However, they were a bit bland and did a number on my tummy. I'm guessing the grease they were fried in has been reused many times. Or maybe I'm jaded because I make my own fried shrimp at home, and these just missed the mark for me. Or maybe "External Influences" (I'm talking about my fiance) hyped these up and my expectations were too high. Or maybe it was that I wasn't drunk off my ass, it wasn't 2 in the morning, and I was fully sober which is why these didn't hit for me. The sides could use some improvement as well. Philly bucket list item checked off. Will I go here again? Maybe if I pop in the nightclub next door and I need a late night snack after dancing and booze.

This is good fried shrimp. It's expensive. And they reuse their oil as it tastes like chicken nuggets. The cocktail sauce is likely not from scratch.Nevertheless, this is a tasty late night snack. I enjoyed it. The shrimp was plump and juicy (not massive though) and the breading was crispy.

Shrimp are always fresh, pretty good size and the wait time isn't bad. I would like if they had better sides but the shrimp are the main attraction

Very disappointed ! The shrimp were overcooked, hard and rubbery. Didn't taste like fresh shrimp. Short on seasoning as well. Then they laid the shrimp on potato chips. Who eats shrimp and potato chips. This definitely is not the same Sid Bookers . Don't waste your money

Delicious shrimp and fries! I have been going there for years, and there is a consistency of good food.
