Ruby Buffet

The seafood here is not fresh. The crab legs are not fresh, the shrimp is not fresh, and the sushi has been sitting out for so long that the avocado is brown. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. What a disappointment it turned out to be. I won't be coming here again. There are plenty of better options for Asian food in South Philly.

Good food and reasonable price. Just be careful when parking your cars. The waitesses were all nice and service was quick and they are attentive.

Didn't actually eat here. Restaurant was loud as hell, PACKED, and no one who worked here spoke anything close to intelligible English. I wasn't going to stick around to taste the food.

Like most Chinese Buffets, there are good dishes, and there are some mediocre dishes served here. The BBQ ribs and the crabs are good. The broccoli chicken and the General Tso's chicken were not as flavorful. Staff was attentive to our needs. They will bring you a crab cracker if needed. So if you don't have time to drive into Philly Chinatown and having to sit down and wait, also happens to be in the area, this place may be suitable if you're in a hurry.

We went here because some recommended it, and we weren't disappointed. The food was bountiful, it felt like an endless supply of crawfish and other seafood options that many of the patrons were enjoying. I wanted to try the sushi, but I ran out of room... but I did try the seafood boil which I thought was well seasoned, the crab which was very hard to break and not worth my time. The clam mix was tasty, so was the salt and pepper shrimp, I wish they did this to squid. The dessert table was small, and offered very little selection.. some fresh fruit, some pastry's, nothin I would be in a rush to go back to eat... the the warm selection. Was quite enjoyable

Paid 13.99 for a 2 year old. Too much for a toddler. Food was not very hot or well seasoned. Crabs had no seasoning.

I was looking at the dishes and a waitress told me to move. She 's too stupid to realize I'm a paying customer. That's pretty unprofessional to tell a customer who's paying for their services. Now she's getting a bad review. I can take my business elsewhere.

My coworker and I went to Ruby's and this was my first time there. The food was really good and fresh, the pepper steak was tender and the gravy was seasoned well. I especially liked the broccoli salad and the fresh fruit. It was very crowded with graduates, but we were seated and had no problem enjoying the food. We are going back real soon. Last but not least the price wasn't bad at all.
