Amazing experience from start to finish! We have been trying to get a reservation here for a long time but always seemed to forget about the date that reservations are released. We finally got one to celebrate a late Valentine's Day and it was definitely worth the wait. The host was very friendly. Took our jackets and offered us complementary sparkling wine as we had to wait a few minutes for our table to free up. The service throughout the meal was great. All the food was incredible, with the exception of the desert. The moose that was on top of the cake was excellent but the cake was a tad dry and flavorless, but still didn't take away from the meal as a whole. The pasta was definitely a highlight! Made sure to soak up every last bit of sauce with their amazing bread. We would definitely like to come back!

Indulged in a delightful five-course meal at Andiario, featuring standout dishes like the exquisite pate, flavorful gargati, and succulent beef brisket. The journey concluded with a satisfying panna cotta, expertly paired with wines. The ambiance added to the overall experience, creating a cozy and intimate setting. However, while the food and atmosphere were commendable, I couldn't help but feel it fell slightly short compared to similarly priced restaurants in Philadelphia Nonetheless, Andiario is a solid choice for a memorable dining experience in West Chester. The service was top knotch.

A very nice meal! The staff was very attentive. The ambiance was lovely with the open kitchen so you can see chef work from your seat. Very delicate and refined menu - chef's pastas are incredible!

Finally was able to snag a reservation here and it was certainly worth the wait! First the service is exceptional. The staff is so attentive, and very helpful. The menu is set, and they offer wine, a few cocktails and a couple of beers. You can bring your own wine but they do charge a corking fee. The food was delicious. The menu changes weekly. The portions were on the smaller side so while we didn't leave hungry we weren't stuffed. For a special occasion I would definitely recommend.

Came back after a while and had the tasting menu this time. Greeted by this very nice and a super friendly host, she even opened the door and offered to take our jackets.Bone marrow was a bit raw (bloody) so we just scooped only the cooked portions. Server saw both of our plates & were relatively unfinished but he did not bother to inquire. Buttery and nice but nothing special. The pasta dish was the star of the night, superb and nice. Dessert was equally sweet and enjoyable.Wife had the wine pairing, one was a simple red 'blend', all were ok, none special.

I've managed to snag reservations to go to Andiario twice now --- which is no easy feat after it was named to the NY Times Best Restaurants in the US last year. My advice: be ready on their website at 11:55 AM on the 20th of the month prior and don't be too picky about the exact timing --- reservations open at 12 PM and are gone within 5-10 minutes. If you're able to see a timeslot available, snatch it, because it'll likely be gone by the time you think about it.Andiario offers a four-course prix-fixe tasting menu that changes week to week to feature local offerings (including, on my most recent visit, locally grown PA citrus!!). They do offer the option to adapt the menu for vegetarians. The price of the meal was recently increased to $80, which is very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you receive. I've seen some other reviews complaining about the lack of artistry in their presentations --- this is not entirely off base. While the presentation of their dishes isn't unappealing, this isn't a place wasting time cutting your portion into a perfect circle and making sauce swoops shaped like a heart. The art here is for your taste buds, and on that, this restaurant excels. My biggest complaint is their drink situation. They offer two cocktails (a Negroni or an Aperol Spritz --- essentially the same flavor profile) and a variety of wines that are $15-ish per glass or $60+ per bottle. Alternatively, you can BYOB, but they charge a $35 corkage fee PER BOTTLE, which can add up quickly (but is still more affordable than buying their wines). I'd love to see them offer another cocktail or two that appeals to a different palate. On our most recent visit, our amuse-bouche was small serving of tuna crudo with lemongrass oil that was fresh and flavorful. I would have loved for this to be a full course by itself! Our first course was a farro arancini with a salad of radicchio, blue cheese, and walnuts, all of which was served family style. The arancini were crispy on the outside and soft and cheesy on the inside, and the salad was delicious and very well balanced. The salad portions were large enough that we wound up taking some home.On this visit and our prior visit, the pasta course was our favorite by far. We were served a fresh pasta filled with butternut squash, served with a buttery sauce, fennel sausage, and brussels sprouts to create a delightful combination of textures and flavors. Our third course featured smoky chicken thighs along with roasted salsify in a delicious sauce, again served family style. Though I tend toward a predominantly vegetarian diet these days, I do indulge in an occasional meat dish while I'm out if it fills a craving or is particularly tasty, and this chicken was totally worth it. The texture and seasoning were perfect, and it was equally delicious warmed up as leftovers the next day. Of note, our firmly vegetarian friend was served the largest roasted carrot I've ever seen, which was also surprisingly delicious for being essentially a giant vegetable by itself on a plate. We ended with a lilac torte with blackberry cream, a light but delicious dessert that we all agreed was a highlight of the meal. All in all, a delicious evening, and I do look forward to visiting again. A note about parking: it's all street parking in that area of West Chester, but there is a public lot 1-2 blocks away on Chestnut Street that was very convenient if you want to skip the driving-in-circles part of the evening.

i have heard about this spot for several years and finally got a table for a relatives birthday last week. Although it's been next to impossible to get in when try to snatch a table for a small party i think the move may be to try and get a larger group table and it's easier. Anyway this michelin starred West Chester legendary farm to table type of place lived up to its name. It's pretty interesting in that it's not like a stuff over too menu with a slew of menu items composed of extensive and rare ingredient lists. it's just really well executed set menus that come in like what seemed like roughly 5 courses and a desert. Our menu started with a sort of amuse bouche type of small chicken liver and pickled radish bite size little morsel of deliciousness. We the went to a pretty simple trout dish with watermelon radish and some sort of red butter lettuce component i think. The flavors of the fish and the vegetables were extremely clean and fresh and simple and everything went together perfectly. we then went to a pasta course, i think was a bucatini of some sort of larger gauge spaghetti cooked al dente with sausage and tomato ragu. it was so well cooked and the pasta was great it pulled in the flavors of the ragu and almost maybe one of my favorite things was the incredible baked bread that i saved some thankfully to mop up the remaining sauce and sausage with. The there was an oxtail course slow roasted to fall off the bone consistency dripping with morrow and accompanied with maybe the best heirloom polenta i have ever encountered. it was so rich and creamy and helped soak up all the fat and little pieces of heaven left behind from the solid parts of the oxtail meat. This polenta meat combo although filling was heaven. I sort of suspect i know the doylestown mill this originated at and it all makes sense if true but i don't know for sure so i will keep from suggesting it fully. I feel like i am missing a dish but who knows the flavors weee so good i was sort of in between consciousness and unconsciousness the who time. The meal ended perfectly with a very low profile maybe huckleberry type of pie with a creme fresh dollop on the side. I would almost argue was the best course although everything was so good it's hard to award any course better than another and every time i look back i find different reasons why one was the better one. The service was great and i love the restaurants set up. The open kitchen. The clean floral designs and one thing i have almost never i my life said about a restaurant of this quality; the most comfortable chairs maybe in any restaurant ever. All in all 5 out of 5. Deserves all its accolades. Totally worth the wait

The ambiance at restaurant Andiaro was very nice. The service was impeccable. The food was just ok. We had roast beef that was chewy and fatty . The pasta was good. The prices at Andiario for the quality of the food are too high. This was my first time there and I was disappointed. It was my friend's birthday. Maybe just a bad night for Andiaro.
