ReAnimator Coffee

I'm a sucker for salted vanilla/caramel drinks so their SVL was perfection. I got it less sweet and extra hot. It was delightfully made and I throughly enjoyed it! Staff is friendly and this is good place to get work done.

Stopped by with my good friend Darby on a weekend day. The line was moderate, but the drinks came out fast. Definitely recommend doing their seasonal drip or classic latte. Coffee was well roasted and didn't give an acidic feel like other trendy shops. The croissant alone is a reason to come back! I absolutely loved the Parmesan croissant; it had a super crunchy airy delight to it. Located right on the corner of a triangle block, the trendy shop has a dominating appearance. Once inside it feels quite homey and cozy and the staff weren't stuffy at all. Highly recommend if in the area for a cup of joe or croissant!

Would I still be alive if it weren't for Reanimator? Ok probably but it would be a lesser life. The coffee is top notch. We visit several times a week for coffee and pastries, and the staff are always helpful, quick, and friendly. Don't let a bit of a line deter you, they're fast and you'll be out of there in no time. We're so lucky to have this coffee shop on this side of the neighborhood.

Solid dog friendly neighborhood coffee shop with great ambiance and outdoor seating under some lovely shade trees. Friendly service and decent coffee.

First coffee shop after moving into the area! Service was great and quick. I love that they don't charge extra for simple syrup and oat milk.

Decent basic coffee/espresso/cappuccino, but the specialty drinks were meh. Staff talks really loud so if you sit at the table close to the register, it will be a little hard to talk to others.

Reanimator is a classic Sunday morning coffee spot. Good brew and solid eats. I had a small cappuccino (and their small is well....small) and a fresh donut from another local favorite of mine, hello donuts. Will unquestionably be back. Service was speedy and super friendly. They are taking every reasonable covid precaution. Hand sanitizer on offer, contactless payment, staff is correctly masked, they're takeout only (for now), and have a reasonably sized ordering window.

So if you're actually in the Fishtown area, don't waste your time. Their coffee is not up to snuff with most of the local places. Atmosphere and dog friendly was cool. But the coffee just isn't good.

The people have spoken... if you're local you probably love the spot too. Maybe too much, as there is always a long line in the AM. Thankfully, it moves quickly if they have enough baristas in. And the coffee is great! If you have a pooch, they are dog friendly ! Your dog can get a little treat while you get your morning fuel. A win for everyone!
