Meat. Bean. Collard Greens (Southern Style). Not Your Mama's Mac and Cheese.
Crudités and dip platter
Pepperoni and Cheese Platter
Mild boneless buffalo wings. Huge I tell ya. All white meat too! Can't get any better than this folks
Southern style collard greens. I'm loving it
Store front poster
Almost this whole slice of brisket is unrendered fat, and the part that's not is dry.
Hard to show, but the coleslaw was grey and smelled horrible; we tried it and it tasted old. And that guac was $2 EXTRA on a dish with sides
These beans are most likely canned and taste of rotten garlic and something else I can't place

Permanently closed since May 2023! Who manages these reviews? They were originally on Burmont Ave in Drexel Hill but moved into 2312 Garrett Pub when the owners took over the bar. If you don't believe me, goodle 2312 Garrett and see the results.

This was the worst BBQ I've ever eaten. It smelled like feet and the taste was just awful. You guys need to step it up.

A strong 3.5 stars. Carolina style pulled pork was lightly seasoned with vinegar sauce and made for great leftovers. My wife liked her catfish and hush puppies. Hard to find those in Delco.Really small side dishes. While tasty, the size of a condiment takeout container. More of a sampler. Reminds me of a BBQ/Seafood/Tex-Mex version of Cook-Out, for those of you in the South. A huge menu with a goofy website. Convenient to the 101 trolley at Aronimink Station.

My parents and I were excited to order from here - we're all on keto (low carb and high fat) and this is the only place nearby that serves just meats and vegetables in takeout fashion.Extremely disappointed is an understatement.Kansas City Pulled Pork - tasted like something I could pick up premade at shopriteBrisket - for paying $1 extra per serving, it was incredibly dried out and mostly fat (picture included), and the sauce was kind of off-puttingSausage - was lackluster; baloney-like with crunchy bits but nothing you can't make easily at home. Burger - Way overdone to an unnecessary degree, but at least the bacon was cooked. The sides were all very bad. Coleslaw was past the edible date, green beans seem canned and taste like rotten garlic. I paid $2 extra for what turned out to be 2 tbsp of guac, which had large chopped tomatoes and no seasoning. Collard greens were definitely not fresh - most likely canned. Chili also tasted shoprite made.Like, do you know how easy it would be to come to DH and make a GOOD southern barbecue place, as far as likelihood of success compared to other restaurants goes? You'd have no competition because there's nothing good nearby! If the worry is that fresh barbecue is hard to predict how much you need to make and you may run out - that's fine! Big Daddyz in Milmont Park says they close when they run out, and that business model works because they have AMAZING, fresh barbecue.Just. Try harder. We so desperately want something nearby that we don't have to peel off bread, work around other carbs or add fats. And fresh food would be nice since there's a local produce store right down the street. We were so excited to eat this but it was entirely a letdown.

You know, I really want to like this place. We need more great barbecue places in Delco. And I've found that the people who run this place are very nice and actually do seem to care about what they are doing, at least on the surface. Whenever I've been there, I've heard stories about how they make their own ingredients. I really think there's a measure of pride that they take here in what they serve. Which is why it actually pains me to say this. The last order I got from them, pretty underwhelming. It was an order for Super Bowl Sunday, and in basic terms this is how it went...The order of chipotle bbq wings were a letdown. Very faint chipotle flavor. It was barely there. They were not worth the price they were charging for them. And let's just say they weren't quite jumbo. The buffalo wings were not bad. Neither were the buffalo shrimp although they got a bit soggy in the takeout container. Consider it the hazard of getting takeout. My wife got fajitas, decided they were nothing special, and didn't even bother finishing them. The chips and salsa weren't bad, and were fresh and homemade. I really wish I could give more stars. But "Meh. I've experienced better." sums this up just right.

I do not care what anyone else says about this place, they are wrong!!! Best boneless buffalo wings I have ever had. They are big and meaty. Just how I like it. Also there southern style greens, oh yes amazing. Oh friendly staff as well. It is a tiny place but in my opinion, these are amongst the best food places. You cannot go by looks of a place. The kitchen looked clean compared to fast food places and other top restaurants who are dirty beyond your imagination. I really think people need glasses. It's not the prettiest place but what do I care. The food is AWESOME!! Definitely one of the best places in Delco. It's hard to find places like this. I used to live in the city, so I know good food. And the prices are very reasonable. I look forward to trying more items on their menu and I am very happy I found this awesome place.

This was the nastiest food I've ever had in my life. I was so disgusted by everything. I wouldn't even feed this food to a dog. The Mac was dry and had NO flavor. The collard's literally was the same, not even an oz of flavor. It was just spicy. The beans were supposed to be bbq beans and they were so dry that they looked white at the tops. The meat?! Don't even get me started on that cat food. Smh, you would think by this review that I some sort of beef with someone who works there. I've never even stepped foot inside the place, I had it delivered. I was so upset I could have cried because I was so excited about it and it was just gross.

I'll try anything twice, I gave this place 4 tries because I have friends who swear by it. Each time the food arrived at a temperature ranging from stone cold to lukewarm. The mac and cheese is made with ziti and some strange form of watery cheese-like substance. The chicken was good, the ham just tasted burnt.
