Walked in randomly while I was in the plaza shopping for shoes on this frigid afternoon. There isn't a hostess stand anywhere on the premises and the employees were in the back so I had a seat at an empty table. A man comes out from the back area and says loudly from the other side of the dining area "excuse me how can I help you?" Everyone who was in the restaurant then stared at me. It was honestly a little embarrassing because I'm sitting at a table so clearly I'd like to order food. I thought about leaving after that but decided to stay. Every other server was super nice. I ordered the fried spring rolls with the P9 (brisket, flank, fatty flank). The spring rolls were 10/10. Easily one of the most flavorful I've ever eaten. They were piping hot and burnt my tongue so I dropped a small bite on the floor but it was so good I almost wanted to invoke the 5 second rule. The pho was delicious with lots of protein. I paid $25 for the two items, plus one canned Pepsi. The inside is clean and comfortable but if you go in on a chilly day sit as far away from the door as possible. Everytime the door opened I shivered as it makes the front area noticeably cold. All in all a good experience.

Well, it's always interesting how things evolve over the years. Ultimately, Pho Viet Hoa has turned out to be a standard, not great but not bad, pho spot to get in the brothy fix you just need sometimes. The service may not always be the best, but they do try the best that they can with the staff that is available. Some nights can get pretty busy for a small server crew, and buyers beware when that's the case. In any case, staples like the P2 (pho with rare steak and brisket), salt and pepper wings, and house special fried rice are standards that can be consumed with consistent expectations one day to the next.

EXCELLENT!!!! Hadn't had Vietnamese food in a while; went with friends yesterday. From start to finish, everything was perfect. I had the shrimp with lemongrass; delicious! Definitely will order extra shrimp! For dessert we enjoyed green tea ice cream and tiramisu. Service was top notch, not pushy or trying to rush you outta there lol--a PLUS for me! Wonderful ambiance; very calming given how busy it was! Definitely a 'best kept secret'; wish it was nearby. I totally enjoyed myself; when something or someone or some place brings me unexpected joy, it leaves an indelible mark--and this place did! Most definitely will be back for more; curious to try their iced coffee concoctions and calamari.

I used to eat here once a week when I worked in the area. I obviously loved it and would have given it a 5 star review. But the last time I went the taste was off and the noodles were mushy. Sometimes that happens and is not indicative of the restaurant as a whole. It's the same owners

Setup at the entrance is a bit weird. There seems to be a space for a greeter, but, on this night, eat-in patrons basically stood awkwardly at the front until acknowledged by the one guy handling the entire front of house. We were directed to sit at a table for two right against the window. It was quite dark as that table has no lighting above. We ended up changing seats so that we could actually read the menu, and all was well. As mentioned, 1 person was working the front of the house to direct guests to seats, take orders, run out food, turnover tables, etc. It made for a little bit of waiting to get his attention-on a Friday night when 15 of the about 20 tables quickly became occupied. Fortunately, we just got the pho, which isn't something that takes much time. Even so, the other non-pho dishes seemed to reach their intended tables in a reasonable time, also.FOOD: We got the p-12 and p-13. Steak, flank, tendon, tripe and brisket, flank, tendon, tripe, respectively. $13.25. The broth was pretty good and it was served hot with all the usual condiments on the side. The serving was a nice size-enough to take 1/2 home, and they contained a generous amount of meat. The server responded affirmatively when we asked if they had Thai iced tea, but we received something that more resembled Thai pink milk with boba.Bathroom was spacious and cleanBe aware, the ending hour is supposed to be 8pm-we left about 10 minutes prior to that and 1 table was warned that the order needed to be placed in ASAP before the chef called it a night.

I would give an F minus, if it were available. Went here for the first time and the treatment we received by management was... First time ordering Vietnamese food. When we asked the waiter - who happened to be the manager - for recommendations and descriptions, he suggested we "go to Youtube and find a video to watch" then let him know which dish we wanted to order. We asked why we should do this when he was standing before us. He said it would be easier than him helping us navigate the menu. He walked away - returned with a broom and began sweeping vigorously around and beneath our table! We will not return and do not recommend this place.

Be careful. Apparently they may have a bunch of flies in the kitchen. Why do I think that you ask? Girlfriend went back and see below pic. Sandwich came with a dead fly in it. This one is now off the list.
