Is this a chicken cheese steak? Where is the cheese? Honestly chunks of dry meat on a roll. Waste of money, it went right in the trash.

When I had a really specific craving for Greek-style pizza, I took to Yelp (obviously) to see which places I could confirm had what I wanted. From the reviews mentioning the Greek style and the photos confirming it had the look of what I consider to be Greek-style pizza, I knew it was safe to proceed with an online order for Pete's Famous Pizza.Since that day, I have ordered Pete's somewhere between 10 and 15 times. I've even collected enough pizza box tabs to claim a free one. I've never eaten inside the restaurant itself, but each time I drive by I think about how I need to get myself in there soon. Their delivery is just so damn convenient, I have never waited more than 30 minutes from order placement to the delivery person's arrival. The average wait time is 20 minutes. My only complaint is that they close early and my late-night pizza cravings are left unsatisfied.Some of my favorite items to order include their plain pizza, chicken Caesar wrap, chicken cheesesteak, mozzarella stick, and french fries. They have beer-battered-style fries that are crunchy and yummy. I noticed a review that mentioned a chicken cheesesteak lacked cheese... that has never been my experience. I've been ordering from Pete's consistently from Summer 2022 through today so I'd say that has changed since that review was left.I genuinely believe that you cannot go wrong with Pete's delivery.

Stopped by this place recently and ordered 7 or 8 cheesesteaks. They were very accommodating in getting them done quickly so we could get back and attend a wedding later in that day. Cheesesteaks seemed to be pretty authentic and there was a lot of choices (cheeses, peppers, and so on).

A quest to recreate a college experience led me to the Pete's Famous menu.For those of your Scarlet Knights out there, the Goliath Grinders are their name for the Rutgers-style grease truck sandwiches.I don't want to sound sacrilegious, but this was kind of better. My sandwich stuffed with chicken fingers, French fries, mozzarella sticks, marinara and mozzarella cheese was larger, had better quality ingredients and less greasy. It ended up being two nights of food but I've been known to house a grease truck in one standing.I actually remembered my affinity to their pizza as well. Back in the day, my office would get pizza from their other location and I always enjoyed. This was no different. Good sauce, good portion of cheese and not too thick but not too thin crispy crust. It also reheated nicely on the second and third day.If I'm ever looking for nostalgia closer to home, I'll rely on Pete's Famous for that craving.

Pete's is great for a variety of reasons: nice staff, quaint dining space, and a menu that has something for every occasion.I've had a lot of what Pete's has to offer. I was never super high on their cheesesteaks but this time really won me over. Definitely an underrated item off the menu and a very high quality cheesesteak nonetheless.The meat was sliced and grilled well. Could have used a bit more cheese, but the size of the steak felt larger than usual, and the bigger the better.Pete's is a highly serviceable, affordable, and good little spot on Fairmount that I can always lean upon. Highly recommend.

Pete's delivered at least two dozen pizzas to my company on Thursday! There was an event for the whole company and the people running the event gave me 2 slices of plain pizza and enjoyed it very much. The pizzas arrived on time and everyone was happy! If you need a lot of food or just dinner for one Pete's will take care of your hunger!

Love Pete's on 21st st. I was working on a guys house when he bought me a small pizza and I fell in love. Pizza is amazing, fries are always dangerously hot and crispy. However I just bought Pete's in South Philly and I'm highly upset. Their pizzas are nothing like the other 2 locations. When you go on their website it has all 3 locations but the Wharton one is thin, flat, hard crust and doesn't even slightly resemble Pete's. Even their fries were a disappointment. I would have given 21st and fairmount 5 stars n Wharton 1 start but I can't find the Wharton location on here at all so I had to split the difference. Gotta get them into shape. Was so excited to get pizza on a Friday, after work and just before close but my excitement was like a bottle rocket........ pewwwwwwwww tissssss pop

Absolutely AWFUL. Ordered FETUCCINI ALFREDO and got penne with milk poured over it. It has absolutely NO FLAVOR! Also ordered a buffalo chicken salad - there were about 5 shreds of lettuce with flavorless chicken over it. I will NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN. $60 wasted
