I was there with a friend. we were drinking and ordering some food. we had a bit to drink but we're not drunk. I ordered another vodka and Diet Coke and watched the bartender make the drink and was just served diet coke.I get it if the Bartender wanted to cut me off because he thought I was drunk... but communicate with me when that is happening. don't serve me the drink and assume I wasn't watching you make the drink and then try to charge me for the drink. be straight forward with what is going on.

Drawn into this bar by the sign for a taproom in an unexpected place and was not disappointed. The renovations look fantastic, and the bar itself has a great vibe. There's not much seating on the first floor, but there's additional seating on the second floor, so don't write this off if it looks full initially. Great beer selection, and phenomenal food. I can honestly say this was one of the best burgers I've had in Philly. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I love coming to Otto's! There's such an awesome chill vibe, and lots of friendly locals up for a chat. Cool videos on the TVs and a SNES Mini for everyone to play as well. There's beers on draft and craft beers - I usually get a grapefruit Radler. $2 beers at happy hour 5-7 is pretty rad. Lately they've had awesome adult hot chocolates with like Cointreau which are yum.

Love this neighborhood spot. They have a great happy hour that's $2 off drinks and until they have a kitchen you can bring in your own food! The staff is always helpful. I've had Nora and Ryan as bar tenders and they've been so fun to talk to and made a great drink! I recommend grabbing a whiskey lemonade fizz, so refreshing. They squeeze their own juice purées from hand in the mornings and their staff knows their stuff. If you're looking for a spot for a quick drink OR wanting to rally with some friends, stop by Otto's. The environment is clean and easy going. I've shown up sweaty after a run and dressed up before a night out & always felt comfortable and welcomed.

We made a reservation for 2 on a Saturday night at 7pm as we were visiting Philly for the first time. We arrived a tad early and were seated promptly. We sat upstairs and were the only table upstairs for the majority of the meal. It was a rainy night and our table was right by the window and had a nice view. Our server was excellent and gave great suggestions and service. We started with a spritz and a hot apple cider. The apple cider was luke warm but the server quickly said he wanted to make it right and would have it re-made. He said they don't have a microwave so I'm not sure how he fixed it but it was a great drink for a rainy cold evening! We also ordered the beef and shrimp skewers which were AMAZING. I think the shrimp skewer was the favorite part of my meal. Then we shared the burger and "The Otto." Both came with generous portions of fries and were really nice sandwiches. I'm not sure how we had room for dessert but being that we were out for a special occasion we opted for the crème brûlée. It was very nice, a little bit heavy on the egg for my taste, but the person I was with loved it. When the bill came, it was a nice surprise to see the skewers were discounted for happy hour (runs from 4-7) and the server comped the dessert for us because of the cold cider. We didn't expect anything of that sort, so that was a really nice touch at the end that he did for us. It was overall a wonderful meal and I would return.

Ottos has upped their game with a creative new menu. The apps and small plates are perfect for a "sharing" date. The Brussel sprouts with panchetta is outstanding. The "Otto" braised beef sandwich on baguette is a winner. All in all a great dining experience!

The food was great! The renovations are beautiful. The only thing, I need for them to open up earlier on the weekends. They open at 5pm everyday. For day drinkers that's a bummer. Lol
