Unassuming little Chinese place only for take-out. I like their General Tao's chicken. The sauce is very flavorful and it comes with broccoli too!

The 5 stars are for Lil Chris. You mad bro?Good take out. Go to Throwbacks for a drink or 2 and wonder why Lil Chris is so mad.

The restaurant itself is definitely a hole in the wall, think takeout only, but there have been very few times that I've been disappointed with the food. New Dragon serves all the typical Americanized Chinese dishes: lo mein, happy family, egg foo young, General Tso, etc. I am a huge fan of their sauteed broccoli in brown sauce. It is always well cooked, fresh, and delicious both the day it's cooked and as reheated leftovers. They serve both brown and white rice, which is sticky and soaks up sauce well. The sweet and sour chicken, Buddha's Delight, chicken and broccoli, and lemon chicken are other consistently enjoyable dishes. Prices are reasonable, and takeout orders are ready quickly and promptly.

Excellent Chinese food! Have enjoyed the chicken with cashews, Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken. The kids love their Spare Ribs, and Beef on a stick (Teriyaki Beef). A Friday Night staple for this family.

I hate to review this place so poorly...but it was not so great. The food smelled like windex, none of it was cooked properly, and they were confused when we ordered things off the menu,...but they said they didn't have it?!! I also have a nasty MSG headache... I hate being harsh,... but not the best place.

We tried the new dragon for the first time tonight for Chinese takeout. The chicken with broccoli and pork with mixed vegetables was very very good. Additionally, the egg foo yong met our expectations. Very good food with moderate prices we will be back.

Chef Boy ar Dee Chinese. Most items are clearly out of boxes, packages, or frozen. Everything has the same, bland, flavor. I'd rather eat an MRE. Just awful!

We used to order from here a few times a month always getting our food without green bell peppers. A couple times a year they screw up the no pepper part. Usually my wife picks up the food and is diligent about checking for peppers. Tonight I picked up the food and didn't check and of course there were green peppers in the food. I returned to the restaurant with the food and asked them to remake it without peppers. Their response was "they didn't put peppers in it". Of course more was said and what I could surmise is they kept telling the poor young man (he's the one that gets your order) that that's just the way Chinese food is made. After that statement I was done and asked for my money back. Why lie? You lost a customer over remaking food that a repeat customer can eat.

I've been here several times. The food is good, but the kid taking orders is rude. I let his rudeness go the last time, but today was the last straw. He seemed annoyed that I hadn't ordered ahead and when I was trying to give my order - same thing I always get, so I just say it, simple enough. He got frustrated and was obvious with his annoyance towards me. I left. Terrible customer interaction!!

I have been ordering takeout from this restaurant for several weeks. It is standard American Chinese fare at a reasonable price. Overall, the food has been consistently good along with good service.The egg rolls are crisp and not greasy. The hot and sour soup has a good flavor, not too spicy, with big chunks of tofu and mushrooms. The fried dumplings are large - one order of 8 dumplings is enough for two people.All the main courses have been good. I particularly liked their Singapore rice noodles. Orange beef is flavorful. Moo shu pork or shrimp has also been good. Having spent time in China, I have not found a Chinese restaurant in the Wilmington area that serves authentic Chinese food, but this restaurant is as good as any sit-down I have tried.
