Their burritos fueled me through both undergrad and grad My friends and I frequent this truck often and love it. They give you a real fat burrito and that's my go to. Either chorizo or steak. They used to do nachos but last I checked I don't remember seeing it on the menu, the nachos were so great though so I miss it! If they ever bring it back it's worth getting they really loaded it. Staff are super nice and friendly too, it can get crowded during the lunch rush but they grind through orders reasonably fast.

This food truck is across Temple student center. It can be busy during lunch time. Very responsive to my questions via Instagram. They make birria tacos occasionally. The broth is soo delicious, definitely at par with Mi pueblito and Burrito Feliz in South Philly. Very flavorful and savory. The meat is chopped into small pieces and a little bit dry but after you dip it into the consommé it's not bad at all. The tortilla isn't crispy and one of my taco had less meat than the others.Super friendly owner. A lot of options on the menu

This is my go to taco truck on campus. The tacos are available at $8 for 3 tacos, and they don't cheap out on the filling and sauces. The lady in the front is always so sweet and kind and the food is always made with love. It doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes to get your food, and you lady after you get your food. I usually get the fish tacos or carnitas tacos both of which are delicious!!

My go-to spot at Temple University for some great Mexican food. My go-to order is usually steak tacos, but their burrito bowls and nachos are also amazing as well. If you're a student, they don't accept diamond dollars, but they're very well-priced, and it's def worth every penny! For lunch after a long class or just looking for some great comfort food, this is my always a go-to staple.

During the colder months, they've started to offer a creamy tomato basil soup with tortilla strips in it for $3 as a special. It's so filling and honestly the cheapest, quickest lunch option on campus. So good that I was compelled enough to write an update to my review. Please go get the soup so they keep making it!

This was a true staple of my Temple experience. We fequently reffered to their Al Pastor burrito as THE FIX. As it was the remedy to a bad day, the reward after a long sesh at the tech, or comfort food after exams. The owners of the truck always greated me with a smile and by my sophmore year, knew me by my first name. #1 food truck in Philly and the best mexican food I have ever had. This will be the reason for me to come back and visit the alma mater.

I finally got around to trying out the grill stand today! I was so glad to see them open. We ordered Al Pastor tacos and I was so excited to see that they were serving a birria special! Both dishes were delicious and filling. Will definitely be going back for more ASAP

I really wanted to give this place a higher rating, because the people that work there are really friendly, the service is very fast, and the prices are reasonable. The food i ordered is lacking seasoning and flavor. I ordered a cheese quesadilla with vegetables. The quesadilla came with squash blossoms as the vegetable. I thought it sounded good because I actually really like squash blossoms. When I opened the box, the quesadilla looked like it was going to be good but when I bit into it the cheese that they used was basically nacho cheese/ cheese wiz that you get with pretzels or on a cheesesteak. They need a cheese that is more sharp. They put lettuce in there and the warm cheese wilted the iceberg lettuce which made it soggy and watery. The squash blossoms had no flavor and were really oily. I think they were fried without a batter. The salsa tasted like jarred salsa from the store, which I actually like, but this one tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes with no flavor. It was really disappointing and I would like to give the Mexican grill stand another try and I'll update my review when that happens. Maybe a burrito with some sort of meat option next time.
