Went for happy hour and the deals were pretty decent! We got the machos that were HUGE! So so yummy. However, we did not like the seitan quesadilla and could not even finish it.Our server was kind, but seemed to be overworked with the amount of tables she had.The music kept making us laugh, I think they need to get a better aux system because they kept skipping each others songs and switching up the genre.

I can no longer trust the kitchen at Loco Pez Fishtown to properly handle requests for things to be made vegan.We've given them multiple chances and they continue to get it wrong with extremely bad results.

First time visiting this little gem in the hood with outdoor seating that is perfect for summer days! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was great and a lot for the price of it. Ended the meal with Tres Leche which was delicious too. Overall great place and I will come back for their drink menu!

Loco Pez is about a 5 min walk from our place so why wouldn't we check it out. We went for some light food and drinks. Got the Elote Wings and the nachos. The wings were unlike anything else. I like Elote but this was a whole new level. I will be going back solely for the wings. The nachos on the other hand were nothing special. They did the job but have had better nachos. Maybe too much cheese that it really didn't melt down nicely. The pollo tinga was what we added as a protein and it had really nice flavor. If I hadn't gotten the nachos and had the pollo tinga in something else, it would have be a great meal. We got the margarita since it was happy hour and it was nice. Def had enough alcohol but still smooth to drink.

Came here on a Friday afternoon during the summer for some food and drinks. The bar has really upbeat and entertaining bartenders and a few patrons ready to start their weekend. The space was energizing. Upon entering it was dimly lit as any traditional bar ambiance.We sat at the bar and ordered traditional margaritas. They were tasty, if I remembered correctly they offered cool flavors as well, so my second drink was a fruit flavor. Ordered some tacos which were okay and with that I also started my weekend off right and absorbed the energized vibe from this establishment.

Dined in at Loco Pez with my friend, and we decided to eat at the bar. The staff were attentive and cool.Ordered a margarita and shared nachos with queso, which I liked. For my main, had the camarones (fried shrimp) tacos, which I thought were good.

If only this place was in every city... we got lucky enough to go on $1 taco night! Now the marg pitcher was more expensive and you do pay for chips and salsa (more of a chunky tomato) the tacos are fabulous!Its like an old dive bar but with hip music! We got to sit outside and the wait was not bad at all i think they told us 45 minutes and it ended up being 10. The staff are super kind and attentive.I got the mushroom and carnitas taco. These were amazing! If you are a vegetarian get the mushroom!! Sooooo good. My husband and friend got 8 tacos each since they arent too big they were able to finish them all... cant say one was better than the other. This place is worth every $1 spent!!

This place is so talked about that we had to go. There is usually a pretty extensive wait, especially in winter when there isn't outdoor seating. We sat outside, which was lovely. The staff was efficient. We got a burrito and a bowl. The burrito was HUGE. It easily could've been two meals. Same with the bowl. They have multiple meat and veg options but really only offer burritos, tacos or bowls +sides. We did get margs, which were fine. Overall, it was a good meal, but I don't think it was as good as the hype around it made it up to be. They do accept cards now, as they were previously cash only. So that's a plus. I'd go again.

This was one of those: let's-see-what's-in-the-area-and-has-good-reviews kind of stop. The place looked promising; we all love tacos; found street parking pretty much outside - as if it was all meant to be! The stars aligned!!Walked in, and I'm thinking: ok, I dig this. A little bit punky, grungy, definitely dive-y. The current tune was some death metal stuff - loud, but perhaps the next tune will be a tad more down to earth. All booths are taken. We are ushered to a high top table by the bar. It's fine but it's so loud...We are 4 in our party. We order. The waitress is cool. Variety of fish, veggie and meats tacos - it's a quick lunch. Next song: even worse - more "deathly dark" metal. Food comes relatively fast. My fish tacos are disgusting. The fish looks boiled. Not bRoiled, boiled. Really chunky, awkward fish pieces that kept falling out of the really soggy tortillas. There's no taste to any of it. The fish is plain, completely unseasoned. Ok, enough with the "heavy death" metal track already! I pick at my tacos with a six-foot pole... not feeling it. Husband and dad are not complaining, but also not saying that it was very good. I hear the word "almost mediocre" from the husband. We tend to agree, but in this case, my fish tacos swayed the pendulum from a 2-3 to a 1 star. The death metal never stopped. I left with a headache.

Love this place! Totally casual with great tunes and odd shows and/or movies on the TV. Nat is a great bartender who's ready to lend an ear and makes great cocktails! The Fairlane is my favorite with pineapple. My husband always gets a skinny. Great specials like the picture of the Queso Mac n cheese. Their wings and chicken sandwiches are to die for, and they typically have food specials starting at 5 PM every night. If you're not in the mood for gringo food, they have wonderful burritos, quesadillas, tacos, etc. The chips and pico are phenomenal, always made fresh! Don't forget to ask for their trio of salsa. The one thing you shouldn't bother asking for is a frozen margarita because they may throw you out, lol. They have a large bar area or you can sit in the actual restaurant itself. We typically can find street parking without issue, but there is no parking lot at this location in Fishtown.
