Kaboburritos

Exelent find while in Kennett for a soccer game. Mediterrian in a taco? Heck yeah. 1 chicken, 1 pork, and one lamb were excellent for a 430 snack for wife and I to sample. Very cool eatery. Something for everyone, but would be Kaboburritos for me on a return visit!

Kaboburritos is an interesting concept that falls short on execution. While I appreciate that the tacos were as stuffed as they could be, the cultural fusion aspect of the dish was not as well-integrated as it could have been. The tacos have a flour shell and unseasoned, dry lamb--which left me thinking that I could've made it better myself. Nice location, convenient. I just can't justify the price with the unfulfilling taste.

What an interesting place. This establishment is located in a food hall. While I have had a whole lot of twists with Mexican fusion, this one was the most interesting so far. Mexican with Mediterranean food for the win. I ended up getting the Mediterranean Bowl. I liked the mix of hummus with rice/tabouli/grilled peppers. The service is quick. Basically you order at the counter and they will deliver to wherever you sit. The guy at the counter was super nice and gave me extra jalapeño when he asked if I wanted it spicy.

Consistently great service and food. Highly recommend the falafel pita and the Mexican Bowl - but so many great options, you can't go wrong.

Great rice and beans!!! It's good hot or cold! For the amount of food they give you the price is worth it!

Excellent! Really good flavors and quality. Used them to cater my party and also just stopped in for a quick lunch, both experiences 10/10!

Came in on Wednesday, Thanksgiving eve around 6pm. Sadly, the only difference between the (Mediterranean) bowl and the platter was that it included (half) pita bread. Had I known, I wouldn't have ordered it. Based on previous Yelp reviews, for the platter, it's a larger entree: the hot items are supposed to be served in a separate container thus that's why it's $5 more than a bowl. The amount of chicken was sparse, tasted bland, and was dry and overcooked. And the white rice was not even warm. The salad wasn't impressive either, bland despite hummus and dressing. In retrospect, I probably should have walked away before ordering. I noticed as I was walking up to the counter that the three employees working there were in a deep conversation and didn't acknowledge me even though one of them saw me standing there. And when my order was finally taken, the person looked distracted and unhappy. The entire experience was pretty dismal and disappointing.

Wow! We were visiting Kennett Square and stopped here for lunch. Their Mediterranean Bowl with shrimp was to die for! This guy can cook! The others in our party all gave a thumbs-up, too.
