Very small neighborhood restaurant, if you want most authentic you know these places are the best. Service was great, speaks both English and Khmer. It was so cold yesterday so a nice hot bowl of Cambodian noodle soup was perfect! And of course when you can't say no to the soup but also want the dry version, do both, yum!!

This was our first time getting takeout from this place and boy was it packed for a Saturday night! The wait time for takeout was 20 to 25 minutes which was perfect because I certainly stopped by the wine and spirits while waiting for my food that was only a block away lol The amount of pad thai I got could have fed two people and I definitely had leftovers for the next day. I asked if they could make my pad thai spicy and ordered a level four out of five. Super tasty but I would lie if I didn't tell you that my mouth definitely burned. That's my fault for getting one of the hottest spices at the place lol The eggrolls were huge as well! My wife really enjoyed her drunken noodle tofu and I tried to get a bite but she wouldn't share with me and I couldn't get a picture her food. Sometimes she sharea and sometimes she doesn't lol

i've been coming here since I was a kid. This place has the best noodles. I would eat here every Sunday with my family. This restaurant is very small, there's about 6-7 tables. Parking is not the greatest, like everywhere in Philly but it's so worth it! The food here makes you feel so warm. It makes you feel like you're at home. I always get the rice noodle. It's the perfect sized bowl on a cold day. If you're not in the mood for an entire bowl of soup, they have a dry option that comes with soup on the side. Everything here is really good regardless of what you order! Don't let this little restaurant on the corner of 7th street slip out under your nose, it's got great Cambodian food. The owners are also super nice!

Cash only hole-in-the-wall in Philly's Cambodia Town, very similar to some other restaurants in the area. Hours are a little all over the place, and sometimes the owners close for weeks for vacation, so make sure to call first to confirm opening status. Also even though this is a Cambodian restaurant, the menu includes Vietnamese and the lady who served us spoke Vietnamese - perfect for the rather large local Viet community in Philly! We all ordered the Phnom Penh rice noodle (for Viet customers, this would be "hu tieu nam vang"). It comes either dry with a small bowl of broth on the side, or with the noodles completely in broth. You can also choose to have only rice noodle, rice & egg noodle, or only egg noodle. The broth has a nice clean bone aroma, very clear color. The toppings are rich and full of innards which are very traditional. My one wish is that the broth could be saltier in order to balance out with the fresh herbs on the side. However I was very impressed with the size - as of Dec 2022, they charge $13 for S and $16 for L, and even the S is extremely generous. I'm giving this restaurant a 4 instead of a 5 just because of the umami / salt profile of the broth being less impressive than other local places. However the food is still good, and the portions are generous, so I had a very good experience here. Context here: my family is Vietnamese, and it's really hard to find a decent bowl of "hu tieu nam vang" at a Vietnamese restaurant in the US, so I'm always fascinated by Cambodian noodle restaurants in the US.

I am very glad to enjoy some of the dishes my boyfriend ate while growing up in South Philadelphia. He talked about how delicious Heng Seng's Cambodian seafood Mee Katang and it was so flavorful and I would highly recommend it. The kathiew is very refreshing after a night of drinking and partying. The broth have fresh ingredients of herbs.

This small local restaurant is located at Cambodian community in South Philadelphia. I always come here for a bowl of phnom penh noodle soup, it what Cambodian called "kuy teav." The owner is also a chef, he and his wife are so generous. Every time we go to eat there, he alway gives us a bowl of soup full of bone marrow packed with meats. The broth is so tasty, you need to dip it with their fried dough, which is freshly made every day. I also like their chow fun noodle. They come in two choices: beef and seafood. They also have others combination of Cambodian and Chinese dishes. This is the place to go for fresh fried dough and an authentic Cambodian style noodle soup. It's one of the best in South Philly.

Good food and nice people! The phnom pehn style egg noodle was delicious! Great flavors and a lot going on. I didn't get a picture of it because it was saturated with bean sprouts. The dish pictured was pretty good. But nothing special. Everything was very reasonably priced and the portions are generous. Their Chinese donut is also phenomenal. So crispy and melts in your mouth. It's a small restaurant so their dine in situation is pretty cramped and not my vibe with COVID and all. But we did take out and they were super quick.

No lie. This place is good. I ordered the pork needle noodles. It wasn't too salty or bland but the perfect flavor and texture. They were quick. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but it's worth checking out.
