I stop by when they are parked on Bustleton Ave. right off of Cottman Ave. If you haven't checked them out yet you don't know what you're missing. I almost walked out when I stepped in and saw a small smattering of patrons. But I persisted and was very glad that I did. You don't see many Indian places with alcohol, but I decided to tea tote tonight. Ordered some Naan bread and the lamb kebab. I requested that the lamb be cooked medium as too many times I've gotten well done shards when I didn't make the request. The Naan was melt in your mouth. The lamb Kebab was served table side still sizzling fajita style. It was so tender and has a trailing kick to it. The rice provided and grilled vegetables was a perfect pairing. It was too much lamb for me, which is rare. Brought some home to the wife and she loved it except for the spice."

Tandoori of India is located extremely close to my boyfriend's house, which made for an easy weeknight date night. The staff (really just the front of the house guy and the chef) were super nice and helpful, even going as far as having an "Indian" spice level gauge and an "American" one.I'm usually the type to get the tikka masala or butter chicken, but I ventured into tandoori territory and got tandoori chicken, which, while it took forever to cook and come out, was completely worth it and I ate pretty much everything. The wrap is a good lunch portion but not overstuffed. The meat was probably a small handful, not a ton. It was savoury and flavorful with a nice juicy tender bite. The pita wrap was a bit dry/chalky grinding between my teeth but was crisp and just oily enough on the exterior. The tzatziki was goopy and just not very aromatic. It's in a great location with really good hours for those late dinners, and every time I walk on that corner, when I weigh the options of all the yummy places, the food truck usually wins out. Try the fish over rice, if you usually get chicken, it's fried and delicious. They give you a drink with your food and are always clean. The space is small, and there is one small table inside that I have never seen anyone using.2. Their signage says they are cash only, but they also have signage stating they accept cards. I have never had an issue using a card, but as a small business of course cash is preferred.3. While the name is Falafel Time, the main event here is the chicken shawarma. The first time I tried Falafel Time, a friend and I called in our order and walked over to pick it up. We got a chicken shawarma platter with fries instead of rice, beef kabobs, hummus and pita, and a salad. The portions were HUGE, we had enough to feed four people. The hummus portion alone was super generous, especially considering the price point. And it was some of the most fresh and delicious hummus I have had in a while. The beef kabobs were a bit dry for my preference, but this did not matter because that chicken shawarma platter was out of this freakin world! For a recent takeout lunch order, I ordered through Yelp. I decided to add falafel to my chicken shawarma platter and the whole meal came out to $15. The platter is a very generous service and it comes with a small salad too. The falafel was good, not my favorite ever. But as always, the chicken shawarma delivered."

John L. "I've had Kabobi's food twice now. Once for takeout and once for eat in. Parking wasn't hard to find in their lot. The staff was friendly and the menus are pretty straight forward. The eat-in experience was ok, but the inside felt more like a fast food environment. Plastic ware was available as well as serve yourself fountain drinks and water. (The self serve filtered water they have for customers was a nice option over bottled)The takeout experience wasn't great. The food was ready on time, but we ended up spending over $120 for four meals which is ridiculous for the entrees we ordered. The chicken tikka masala was below average, the sauce was too sweet and more like a bastardized tomato sauce. The rice lacked flavor and the lentils were sweet and not appetizing. I will admit that the dry chicken tikka was pretty good. They were skewered charred on the outside and had a decent charcoal flavor, but again the rice was boring as well as the chickpeas. My buddy had Kheer (aka rice pudding) for dessert and enjoyed it. My eat in experience was for lunch. The staff looked like they were gearing up for the day so wait times were a bit long. After talking to the guy up front about the various menu offerings and their indoor charcoal grill, I ordered a chicken kabob roll upon his recommendation. A kabob roll sounded intriguing - chicken kabob with lettuce and sauce rolled inside of naan bread with mint chutney on the side. While waiting for my order, I watched the front display slowly load up with various kabobs and lamb chops as the previous nights Sixers game was replaying on the single TV they have mounted on a wall. If you don't order something fresh off the menu they do have combo meal choices available for less of a wait. They consisted of several menu options in a warming station by the checkout counter that could be mixed with rice and naan. When my roll arrived I was digging the aroma. Two fresh kabobs wrapped inside of a soft warm naan bread had me drooling. Unfortunately, I wasn't blown away by the flavors, but It was still a pretty cool idea. I'd return to try their smokey wings, but other than that much better quality and cheaper options can be found in Bensalem."

Michael G. "Wife and I decided to check out Plov House after hearing many good things about it. Plov House is a small 9-table 24-hour place but was brightly lit and appeared clean with white tablecloths and plastic covers. Single page menus on the table, and customers were constantly in and out. Surprisingly, every customer coming in was a young male, some singles but most in groups. There's a couple of large refrigerators full of food in containers ready to go. After some language barrier ordering, we ended up pointing to what we wanted on the menu. I tell you EVERYONE who came in ordered Plov and bread. We did, too. Along with the assorted kebabs, lagman soup, and two Samsas. The soup was tomato based with homemade long noodles, beef, celery, peppers, onions, carrots, and celery. Had to alternate between a fork and spoon to eat it. The bread was extra tasty and was great to dip in the soup. The kebabs were fresh, very tender, and came with onion and some pickled hot peppers. My wife liked her samsa but I was getting full and took mine home. But the star of the night was the Plov with the most tender and flavor filled slow cooked rice with lamb, beef, carrots, and onions. I could see why most come in and just order it for however many were in their party. It's that good. Best I've had so maybe as others mentioned it was a fresher batch made. With two bottle Cokes and a wonderful pot of black tea, our meal came to $77 including tax and a small upcharge for credit card payment. Tip was left in cash. I will say that the prices on the bill were slightly higher than what was listed on the menu so be mindful of this. For instance, menu Plov is $14.99 but bill Plov is $16.19. Menu tea is $1.99 but bill tea is $2.15.You have to know that when most of the customers are holding court in their language enjoying their food in a constant stream, that Plov House is doing something right. The service was quite friendly. Highly recommended."

Gerald S. "Covid Takeout ReviewDid a GrubHub takeout from Shagun Palace yesterday, and was very satisfied with the result. The restaurant is in the rear of a shopping center on Street Road, Bensalem, where there is a significant cluster of South Asian kitchens. Competition being severe, the quality is higher than in many more isolated Indian houses. Our order: Veggie Samosa for an appetizer; Chicken Korma, Chili Chicken - Dry, as entrees; and Baingan Bartha (curry eggplant), for a veggie side; and Garlic Naan to soak up the sauces. The foods were all very good to excellent, with kudos to the korma and dry chili chicken, which displayed spice skill with the sauces. The bird was perfectly cooked, and not at all dried out. If there was a weakness, it was the Naan, which appeared premade and merely heated in the oven before wrapping in foil. It was thicker and drier than normal, and not the least bit flakey, nor with expected air pockets. There was practically no garlic flavor. Next time, skip the naan. There are talented hands at Shagun Palace where they are allowed to perform their magic. They are masters of curry cream reductions, but make a mistake in not carrying the expertise through to their breads. If they lack a tandoor for BBQ and Indian oven breads, they really should invest in one. It would make Shagun a more complete 5 Star experience."
