Excellent food! I just went to Türkiye in May and the food here was as good as our best meals we had there. Our server, who is from northern Türkiye, was very friendly and helpful. We started with the lentil soup and the stuffed grape leaves; both were excellent. Lentil soup was a staple pre meal on our Türkiye trip & the grape leaves were covered in a dressing that made them even more delicious than usual. For our main, we split the manti and the Turkish meatballs platter. The manti were the best part of the meal, delectable little dumplings smothered in yogurt and paprika. They are a MUST. The meatballs were delicious as were the accompanying sides of salad & rice. They play Turkish music inside & the restaurant is decorated with greenery & pictures of Istanbul. It's a great spot that we will certainly return to soon.

Was at Wills eye hospital and needed to eat before heading out of town just before dinner time. Found on yelp and good reviews so decided to give it a shot and glad we did! Easy walk just across the parking lot from Wills. Was not busy yet and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is casual and clean. The food was delicious. So many things to choose from, and easy for my wife to find something gluten free for her. We'll likely be back when we're in the area again. There's more things to try!

I came here for lunch with a few coworkers and it was a pretty solid spot. Considering it was during peak lunch hours, it wasn't too busy. The restaurant was pretty modern, with some decorations here and there. As for food, the menu had a bunch of Middle Eastern classics. I went with the Lamb Adana Kebab, which came on a plate of hummus, with bread on the side. The lamb was cooked nicely and any dryness was remedied by the hummus. My coworkers enjoyed their dishes as well. Good place for something a little different!

Nestled in the middle of the jewelry district this small Turkish place is worth a visit. many great choices for original Turkish food, with a few Beyti variations ( home style). Service was friendly and prompt and the pricing is very reasonable.Authentic baba ghanoush and grilled halloumi cheese and lamb Beyti, were the highlights of the meal.

This place has huge portions and is so worth the price. We ordered the combination cold platter to start and between the three of us we were pretty much full after that. Then the entrees came out as huge portions which was a pleasant surprise. The food is also really good, the meat is very flavorful but the entrees we got were weekend specials only. I think the falafel and hummus were mediocre. The hummus wasn't too flavorful, and even though I usually like hummus more, I preferred the baba ganoush in this place. The servers here are also so kind, constantly checking in on you and they offered to refill our pita bread when we were running low. Overall, definitely recommend for the price point and quality!

My sister and I tried this place before seeing a show at the Walnut Street Theatre. It's perfectly located for that, almost behind the theater on the next block over on Sansom Street. They offer a very generous 20% off for pre-show performances. We would definitely go back there again.Appetizer sizes are pretty large, so good for sharing. We opted to try 2 different appetizers and then split a grilled branzino fish. The fried calamari app we ordered was a bit overcooked, but I did like the crispiness better than my sister. The fish was spectacular. It was moist and cooked perfectly. We had another item, which I don't remember the name, which we thought was something like spanakopita, only it wasn't. It was bready with spinach and cheese. But where spanakopita is flaky, this was heavy and doughy and there was not much spinach or cheese. It was not a big piece, which was fine as neither one of us cared much for it.It's a very interesting menu, so if you're looking for something different, give this a try. They had some good looking desserts as well, and my sister wanted the baklava, but we spent too much time chitchatting and realized we only had 10 minutes before we had to run to the theater. Next time! (Tip: you can cut across the parking lot across the street and you're right at the theater. Maybe a 2 minute walk!)

It was pouring heavily outside and I wasn't even sure I was even up to eating out but we decided to try Paprica out. The menu had plenty of options and being unfamiliar with most of the choices, I wasn't even sure what to get but the owner/manager (?) suggested I try the traditional gyro platter. He gave me a piece of the lamb to try and I was hooked. The platter itself had so much food. The lamb and beef were so tender and flavorful. I'd come back just for that platter! The hummus with falafel was a great appetizer to get your taste buds going too. The other staff members were so nice as well, recommending what they liked when we were unsure and even making sure we had everything we needed. I'm glad I came here because Paprica will be added to my list of favorites!

My meal at Paprica was DELICIOUS. From start to finish it was a meal to remember. Emre our waiter suggested several options for our dining pleasure which turned out to be excellent. I am not a Lentil fan, but the Lentil soup at Paprica changed my mind completely. And to finish off the wonderful meal Emre suggested the Apple tea which far exceeded my expectations. The apple tea was the best tea I have ever had in my almost 60 years of living. The presentation was exquisite and the pistachio baklava that we order also was yummy.
