Updating our review for East Star. We typically eat from here twice a month. Sometimes 3X. We focus on their high end meals, the Chef's specials. Again, always fresh, flavor is absolutely amazing and their consistency is spot on. Their appetizers are always fresh and delicious. We are hooked on this place! I hope this leads you to go with them. I promise you won't be disappointed in any way. On top of their perfect food preparation they are the nicest, most professional people to talk to.

We usually get take out from here and have tried a number of things. Off the regular menu, we've tried the beef chow fun, boneless pork spare ribs, and general tso's chicken. The beef chow fun lacks flavor and the meat is not very good. The boneless spare ribs and general tso's chicken were both good. The large portion comes in a typical black rectangular plastic container. My only gripe is that it only comes with one very small of rice. Off the lunch menu, we've tried the sesame chicken, sautéed string beans, sweet and sour pork, and pepper steak. The pepper steak was not good - the beef in general might not be great here. The sweet and sour sauce comes on the side and you pour it on. I generally think the chicken dishes are best here. The lunch dishes come in a small circular container with both the fried rice and the entree. It also comes with a large egg roll on the side. Located in a plaza with lots of parking. Great place for Chinese take-out!

Found our best chinese restaurant. Ate in and ordered sesame chicken and shrimp with vegetables. Came with pork fried rice and a pork egg roll. Food came fast and was piping hot with large portions. We took about half of it home for another meal. Very tasty with great menu selection. Reasonable prices. Went on a Thursday night and business was non stop. The poor girl was really hustling with taking orders and trying to wait tables. We were in no rush. Will definitely go back.

Ordered food on a Sunday night. Took 2 1/2hrs to actually get the food after 3 calls to see where it was and every time was told it was on its way. Got to me COLD and CONGEALED. Spent a decent amount since I had company that was over. Called to let them know it was cold and just about inedible and was told they would give me$5 off my next order. Ordered tonight for the first time since that horrific order...Got to the store to pick up and let the person know that I felt like I was either owed a free order(this was significantly less than the cold order). Was told I should have called and said it was cold and they would have sent new. Told her I had and that resolution wasn't offered(and who knows when I would have gotten it).I was told she could only do$10 off. So seriously disappointed, I have been going there for years and always had good food and service. Have to say I'm not sure I'll be going back and will tell as many people as I can about my experience. I know it might sound petty but I work too hard for my money to waste it on COLD food and bad service.

I have had their buffet in the past as well as lunch entrees-always was flavorful and good. 4 years later...was not such a good day. My Singapore Noodles were bland, bland, bland, but they absolutely respected my allergy selections for fish/shellfish. The flavor was just weak. Also, they were about to let me walk out without my diet coke. They said everything was in the bag and it wasn't there. Got a bit of attitude when I brought it up. Egg roll is also the size of a spring roll. I was super hungry so I ate some and will take it home and doctor it up for tomorrow.

Usually my go to for takeout Chinese. Disappointed in the scallion pancakes. They were so oily, the birds enjoyed them this morning. They were too oily to eat. Requested no celery in my dinner. Kung pao chicken and pork fried rice were good. Took a while to get all the celery out!!!!

Stopped by to eat lunch on a recommendation and decided to eat in. The lady at the front told us to sit anywhere which we did and then brought us take out menus. We ordered the lunch special and asked for water which only came bottled. Our food came out in take out containers. When I asked for plates the waitress seemed confused but finally complied. My mother ordered shrimp lo Mein with shrimp fried rice, shrimp roll and egg drop soup. I ordered shrimp and broccoli spicy, vegetable fried rice and shrimp roll. We asked for soy sauce and hot mustard and they gave us take out packets. I'm sorry, but dining in should definitely be a different experience than takeout. How was the food you ask, average, food was dry as no sauce on shrimp and broccoli and not at all spicy. Egg roll might have been tastier if hot and crispy. My mother's soup was good to her and she enjoyed the noodles in the lo mein. I'm gonna assume the cook was not feeling well!!!

I've only ever had takeout here but it is so good every time! Quick service. Always super hot and delicious. Best crab rangoons -- so light and crisp not doughy like other fast Asian takeout spots. I recommend it to all my friends! 10/10 :)

If I could give this place less than one star i would, on more than one order, take out, ..approx 4 meals over a span of past 6 months..they have attempted and serve me bottom of pan, in my opinion "old food" Quality horrible , Service is rude Less than 1 star
