What happened? This place used to be really good. My usual spot were closed today so we decided to order from our second favorite spot, Dragon Phoenix House. DPH was our original go-to but we find something better and more accommodating. Today we order two egg foo young and a order of fried dumplings. I'm so used to restaurants preparing the gravy on the side, didn't think twice that DPH would pour the gravy over the egg foo young. The only time I do expect gravy on the egg foo young is when I'm in the "hood". "Hood" Chinese takeouts are more stingy towards their customers, maybe not all but most do. The egg foo young that got gravy on it broke apart before we try to put them on a plate...... Our total is $40.66, I feel as though their food isn't worth that. P.S The younger chick got a very defensive attitude towards me. I mean I don't believe customers are always right bullcrap but at least ur attitude doesn't stink.

I just phoned in my order and plan on picking it up. My total was over $50 so I asked about the free item. She asks me if I want the egg roll or soda. I reminded her I spent over $50 then she tells me the soda doesn't count because it's hot food only, and the "American dish" I ordered wasn't counted either. No where on the coupon say Chinese food only. It says hot food only. I haven't eaten their food yet, but for the price I paid for 4 people to eat, it better be damn delicious. I have never been to this restaurant before, but I saw it on GrubHub and was in the mood for some Chinese food, so I ordered. They seem to have a lot of good items on the menu, I wasn't able to try everything I wanted. But I ordered two pizza rolls, a quart of sweet and sour chicken with white rice, and large fried noodles. The pizza roll was not that warm on the inside, the cheese wasn't even really melted, but it still tasted fine. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious!! I just wish we had a little more chicken. The noodles were also pretty good, wider than I usually have, but still pretty good!

The Owner is nasty and she's also my landlord. Recently tried to illegally evicted us with a letter stating she sold the house. She has her sister Susan do her dirty work, wanted to rent garage to illegal immigrant and when we refused she raised the rent to $1,500. Stove doesn't work and cracks on the wall. Lies after lies how she's been a landlord for 30 yrs but tried to commit an illegal eviction. My brother may take her shit, but I won't. She rents to immigrants and because she's knows they pay whatever amount. Lies about check your credit - how can you check an immigration credit? Currently getting assistance in having the owner investigated for extortion of money. The restaurant food has also gone down yet they raise the price
