Cibao Fried Chicken Restaurant

Ordered the stewed chicken, chicharron, rice and beans, spaghetti and plantains. ($30) The rice&beans, spaghetti and plantains were good but the chicken and chicharron were dry, chewy, stiff, and not terribly flavorful. Their meat platters come with rice--and you can ask them to add beans to that rice as well. FYI: They deliver to a small radius. They're located in Port Richmond and we're just under 2 miles away but that's out of their radius of delivery.

The potato ball with gravy is my new fave snack! Ordering here can get a little hectic if there are a lot of people, but they are patient and make sure to get you your order. Fried chicken was super crispy and flavorful, and the beef over rice was a good portion for the price (very inexpensive). Try anything and learn what you prefer, but start with the chicken and rice platter and work your way from there.

Came here on my first night visiting Philly and we did not know what to eat. We decided to come here and honestly it was a great decision. They were extremely friendly. They were closing but still trying to make accommodations to satisfy us which made me feel great!! I was trying to taste different foods while visiting Philly but I definitely wanted to eat this everyday. This was defiantly a 10/10.

Delicious! A hole in the wall Mom and Pop establishment that serves delicious Dominican food. Get the meat pie and yellow rice. All the meats are delicious so get what you prefer. Tostones (fried bananas) were okay. It would be nice to get a dipping sauce with them (hopefully they see this and add it to the menu. It's incredibly cheap and inexpensive. A great place to go eat. I would recommend it.

I found this place while searching for lunch. The reviews and food pics looked great. I was not disappointed. I got the crispy skinned pork belly over of rice and beans. The food was out of of this world. The pork was crispy but still juicy and the rice was very flavorful. The hardest part about this meal is the restaurant is definitely more geared towards Spanish speaking clientele. I do not speak a lick of Spanish and was thrown off by the lack of menu. I had to kind of just point and ask what stuff was. The young woman working the cash register was a sweet heart and did speak some English. I wish I knew more what my choices were but was happy with what I had. I will definitely be visiting this place again.

They are very annoyed at times if you don't know what you want or if they don't have it I wouldn't recommend and there prices are way to high for basic food .

This place is simply AMAZING! The food is always Fresh and flavorful and the staff is like family. I love everything about it here. As a native New Yorker it's tough to find authentic Dominican food but this group has the IT factor in Philly. I visit every chance I get and have NEVER been disappointed. Don't cheat yourself Treat yourself. It's MORE than worth it.

Pretty good cheap food. I've had better but there isn't that many Spanish food places around. They have really good plantains and pernil they deliver as well but don't have online delivery

Hole in the wall place but good quality food. Hard press to find a menu here and just a few small tables for dine in. Most people come for take out. Just like home cooked meal. Worth a try!

Food taste good but STAY AWAY from the fried section!!! It is cheap in quality but expensive in price. Acapurrias is all masa NO MEAT! Pastellios have no meat! Sodas are crazy expensive. You can find better service somewhere else the guy serving is a d***head.
