I had been passing by here for some months, and I finally drove by last week and saw that they were open, so I parked and went in. Parking: residential street parking. You can't really park in front of the place but park at your own risk if you do. Atmosphere: very bright with a boutique off to the side of the pastry area. Service. The counter woman was very nice. She answered all of my questions. They are closed on Sundays & and Mondays, I believe. They opened at 12 noon and close around 5 pmThey offer a small amount of treats: pound cake, cup cakes, cookies, muffins, and peach cobbler. Check the prices online before going if you plan on paying with cash because they prefer you to have the exact change. They do take cards. Treats that I selected: *refrigerated* I'm not a fan of cold pastries. The woman offered to heat it up, but I prefer room temperature. 1) Cookie butter pound cake. I don't think it was fresh. When I cut into it, it crumbled up. It was dry. I would have liked it if it was moist. 2)Sweet potato cheesecake muffin was the best out of the two. There was only a hint of sweet potato and hardly any cheese cake. The icing was good; they only gave a dollop. I wanted cinnamon rolls, but they were sold out. They make cinnamon rolls made on Wednesdays. I came back today, 4th October, when they first opened looking forward to tasting them, but they did not have them. I was told they may have them in the afternoon but call. I got busy and never called to check. Overall, I wasn't impressed. I will go back to try the peach cobbler. I will go back to try those cinnamon rolls. I'll be sure to call first.I hope you enjoy!!!

My mom used to order cakes from Cathryn's Cake Salon for special occasions that were always delicious so I decided to stop by to try some of their baked goods in store. I tried the sweet potato pound cake first and it was so good that I went back to get more (and other items) the very next day. Everything I've tried from this bakery has been a 10/10. I highly recommend them if you want something sweet right away or if you need to order a cake for an event.

explained to the person that helped me that I was a chef with a culinary degree but I didn't bake. I informed her I was cooking a meal to impress someone I had been dating a brief time. I asked her to suggest the best cake she had. The cherry cheesecake was recommended as the best to impress my date. Of course I couldn't open the container, I examined the cake which was a serving big enough for two. The price was $12. When I got home and examined the cake further I was horrified to find out it was not cheesecake it was no bake cheese whip. Needless to say I could not serve this imitation cheesecake to my guest so we had no dessert. This was a shameful representation. Patrons be aware of what you are really getting. Cheesecake and no bake cheesecake have very different consistency and very different in cost. I was definitely dissatisfied.

This is my new cake spot. The family run staff is absolutely awesome and the baked goods are better than my usual spots (Denise's, Bredenbeck's, Lily of the Valley, The Frosted Fox and others). They have a customer rewards program which the neighborhood competitors do not and the presentation of of their cupcakes is a step above the rest. Yes......the lil clear plastic case means a lot to me. Thanks again for opening up shop here as you will get plenty of business from me.

The cupcakes were a HIT and absolutely amazing. What makes this shop even more amazing (in my opinion) is that I filled out the form online, was emailed an invoice, and when I got there the cupcake were exactly as pictured. I didn't have a to speak with someone or go back and forth via email. It was so simple and I LOVE THAT!!! Lol. I'm not a big talker. The ladies behind the counter when I picked up my cupcakes were as sweet as their cupcakes and really made me and my sons day. Definitely give them a try. And I will be returning

I stopped in this little bakery shop one afternoon after searching online for another good bakery in the area, outside the usual ones on Germantown Ave. I was greeted warmly and both of the ladies in the shop were friendly and helpful as I chose a product. The 7 up pound cake was delicious. I will definitely be a frequent customer.
