First time in this store while vacay in Philadelphia. I bought the epok epok liked empanadas shaped. It's disappointed charging me $3.50 each the filling only cabbage ?! Yuck! But the grocery store very tight inside we can't move much in there. I bought lots of dried ingredients / paste packets for cooking.

An Indonesian oriented market with prepared foods, particularly on weekends.We always stop in to pick up prepared foods to bring home when we are nearby.Contrary to its name, it is not really a café. There's no place to sit or drink. This is largely imported foods.

I love this place. Every time I go to Philadelphia, we come here. We usually come to this area every couple of months. They have authentic Indonesian foods that we like. They have many prepared foods to go, also ingredients to make all kinds of Indonesian meals. Since this is just a store, there is no place to eat and drink. There is a solid Indonesian presence here in this area. There are many Indonesian restaurants in the area as well. the services are excellent. They have a cashier and usually have another person to pack the bag for you. The store is very hard to get through sometimes since there is limited space for walking, but they have tons of stuff. I recommend visiting for an experience or in the mood to shop for some great Indonesian food. The price is reasonable as well.

A lot of selections of prepared food as well as grocery items. The store is super packed with merchandise. It's very hard to shop during the weekend because there are only two isle that can fit only one person each

It's a small store but full of good stuff.Reasonable price.Very nice and friendly staff.A lot of treasure (good stuff) that couldn't be found in other places.Only accept cash or venmo for the payment.

My mom & I drove from Maryland for a day trip & decided to stop by the store to buy tempeh. I bought 5 & my mom bought 20. Upon returning home, we realized they charged me 2 extra tempeh & my mom 6 extra tempeh. They were $3.50 each piece but it adds up & I just want everyone to be aware of shady activities like this. It's a horrible way to do business, & of course they're closed for the day. I'm all for supporting small businesses like this establishment but not when I'm being cheated for it.

I'm lucky enough to live in easy walking distance of this place, and it's one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and the only down-side is that it's hard to motivate myself to cook when I know that amazing food like this is close by! Picture is of my lunch today (from their prepared foods section), which was mind-numbingly good and very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality.

I jump on conferences in Philadelphia simply just so I have the opportunity to stop by this amazing Indonesian treasure! The only bad thing is it's a 2 hr drive from Baltimore. There are NO INDOnesian restaurants in Maryland. I make the long trip up to Philadelphia. This is the quickest and most gratifying stop. There is literally every Indonesian treat you can think of and all the seasonings too! It's been 10 years since I've been home to Manado but I feel all the comforts of home packed into a tiny space. I never have much time but speed shop and spend a happy ton! Come home feel my Indonesian cravings so satisfied!

I grew up in Indonesia. This little corner shop an amazing assortment of Indonesian prepackaged meals, dry foods, snacks, sauces, sweets, spices, fermented tapioca, cendol, kecap Bango, variety of homemade sambal, etc.. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. All very authentic. Anyone who wants a taste of Indonesian market or street food, come!
