Certainly! Here's a positive review for a waitress named Katy:---I had an amazing dining experience. I enjoyed the shareable plates the most. The bao buns and tea ribs were delicious. I also had crab fried rice. Katy was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that our drinks were good up and our orders taken promptly. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, which we really appreciated. Her timing was perfect; she knew just when to check in on us and when to give us space to enjoy our meal. We will definitely be returning and hope to have her as our server again. Thank you, Katy, for making our meal so memorable!

I've been to this location & the one in Atlantic City (that is no longer). It has an elegant feel to it with the dimmed lights and all but judging by the bathroom I'd like to see what the place looks like with the lights on.The cocktails were delicious but half the size of establishments nearby but with the same price point. The food came out very quickly and was good but nothing amazing. The potstickers were my least favorite. The dessert was also very underwhelming. The waiter was good and checked in on us often. He even tried to spice up the night by putting a sparkler in our dessert which was fun. Fortunatly and unfortunaly there are a million other amazing places in the city and this is one I won't be returning to.

This place never disappoints. This wasn't my first time coming here, and it for sure won't be my last lol. Came here to celebrate a special day, and the staff here made our day feel special by taking great care of us. Our waitress was so nice, accommodating, and congratulated our graduate. We got a complimentary dessert with a sparkler for the special day. The manager even came to our table to greet us. Service like that makes coming back such an easy decision. The food here is phenomenal. Idk if you've ever been, but if the answer is no, change that lol. I got the aged beef last time (which slaps btw), but I got the crispy fish of the day this time around (I gotta watch my figure) lmao. That fish was BUSSIN. It was crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and served over some sauce that tasted like it dripped down from heaven lol. Everything else we ordered was great. The table legit went quiet when we all got our food. Come check this place out because the food and the vibes are here.

Luca was great and attentive. Lots of staff tidying up the table and delivering little plates!Such a wonderful calming and exciting Buddha-ful atmosphere ! I had crab fried rice ! It was absolutely so wonderfully tasty and fresh! We also got the mushroom dumplings and ribs as appetizers. Everything was hot and fresh and very flavorful. It was such a wonderful time here . I wish I brought my little ukulele. I would definitely write a song about this place.

The food was delicious! No complaints and the service was good. We had 2 starters, the pork bao buns and tuna pizza. Bao buns were super flavorful and perfect bite. The tuna pizza was interesting but surprisingly delicious. The surprise to me was the crust, I assumed a thin layer of rice would have been the crust but it was an actual thin crust pizza. I had the miso cod. It was light, cooked perfectly and slightly sweet. Portions are filling. We were pretty full and didn't order dessert but they still brought out a small scoop of sorbet with a candle for my birthday. It was very thoughtful. They seemed busy but for a restaurant that has been around soo long, I would have expected shorter wait times. Dinner took longer than expected, hence the 4 stars but I would definitely go again and update my review. It could have been an off day that happened to be too busy.

Went there while in Philly on business The ambience, is dark and gives a club vibe, place is usually packed even on weekdays we had to make a reservation for dinner. Tables are placed to close, they have two bars spread out into two floors. Bar seating is first come first served but really difficult to find one. The service is very slow, the main course came after 20 minutes after we finished eating appetizers. Place is too loud to have a conversation, as the next table is too close to you there is no privacy. Food is good, but the table has no condiments or they do bring chili sauce or any sauce with the food. Tried the edamame dumplings they would have tasted better if they have a chili oil or chili paste that is usually available when eating dumplings at other places. I tried the Korean beef fried rice, the taste is very good but the kimchi had a weird smell, I know usually kimchi smells weird but this is not that weird. Quantity is good, the fried egg is made perfectly. I had to give it lower stars for the close tables, loud environment, and providing food without condiments on the table, and the price.

Atmosphere was quite different than I expected! Fun group and I was definitely underdressed :)Don't quite remember everything but Prix Fixe was delicious but not the most food. The entrees were the highlight for sure.

Eating at Buddakan was a wonderful experience. We had a waiter who's worked at Buddakan for many years and he offered great service and recommendations throughout our dining experience. While some of the wait times between courses took some time, we didn't mind because it was Father's Day and you could tell that the restaurant was absolutely packed. Despite this, food and drinks came out decently on time. The food was delicious-- particularly the pork bao buns. The bao buns were so fluffy and soft. The pork was cooked well and was very flavorful. The main dishes were delicious as well. Of course, Buddakan is famous for its ambience. The restaurant is large and has a luxurious, open, modern atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend eating at Buddakan Philadelphia-- the OG!

Absolutely so so good. Been there several times. The dumplings especially the general tsos is so good. We had the yellow fin sashimi and it was delicious. I had the shrimp low mein but we also had crab fried rice. Both were excellent. BUT THE DIM SUM DONUTS STOLE THE SHOW! the ginger cream cheese was so yummy I could eat that on a spoon. All in all an excellent restaurant with great food and ambiance

I thoroughly enjoyed Buddakan, from the atmosphere, service, and of course food. We ordered the dim sum sampler, pork belly bao buns, and the lemon sesame chicken. Everything was amazing and flavorful! I would highly recommend!
