Enjoyed the treat from Brown's Cow - such a cute shop! Side note - cash only (I get it, fees are expensive)

CASH ONLY! Yummy and reasonably priced, this small-town ice cream shop is the stuff of dreams. They have a nice variety of ice cream, including a couple of vegan flavors - all Bassett's brand. Opt for a scoop or three, a banana split, or a milkshake. I've also never seen a PRETZEL ice cream cone before - but Brown's cow has it!The retro vibes are eclectic, and the decorations are fun to peruse. I was a big fan of the mobile toy train above the entrance! This is a solid option for my trademark "Ice Cream For Dinner." Their hours seem a bit wonky, so just check they're open before visiting. There's a small amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and street parking is your best bet if not visiting on foot/ bike. Treat yo' self.

Brown's Cow is a small ice cream shop with seating for 12 inside and about 6 curbside outside. They carry a variety of Bassett ice cream flavors. The smell of fresh made waffle cones delight you as you enter. The store was clean with nostalgic mementos all over. The young lady at the counter was very nice. I did not try and ice cream or sundaes but opted for a milkshake instead. The milkshake was very good and a decent size at $6.50. The store is cash only so make sure you have cash before ordering. If not, there is a bank located just a stone's throw away.

This place is so cute, with outdoor chairs that allowed us to sit down and enjoy our day out exploring Phoenixville. Delicious fresh ice cream, really had that home made taste.

What could I say, I love ice cream and this place has delicious variety of flavors. Great service.

My friends have said good thinks about this place and I believe the amount of people coming in says a lot too. There were many ice flavors which made it hard to choose and I wanted to try something I don't normally get so I chose pistachio. It was a great ice cream, but I do with the nuts were chopped instead of whole.There are about four tables with four seats, but there's only a few feet in between the counter and the tables which makes it hard to maneuver. The register is on the opposite side of the entrance so it's a bit tough to get out of the place when there are more customers coming in.It's such a very quaint and cute shop that I would definitely go here again.Keep in mind, they're a cash only business.

Super nice owner! They serve delicious Bassett's ice cream with quality waffle cones. I always get the cone dipped in chocolate and peanuts. They have true milkshakes that you can add malted powder too.Sometimes there's a line but it's always worth the wait. This is a cash only spot but there's an ATM just up the block if you're short on cash. Small sitting area outside where people can enjoy their frosty treats.

Cute little ice cream shop! They have a lot of different flavors you can choose from and offer different kinds of cones (pretzel cone, waffle cone, sugar cone, cake cone, waffle bowls)I was pleasantly surprised by how good their green tea was! Most places don't do green tea very well but the one here tasted just like the haagen Daz one which is my favorite one!!I would def recommend this ice cream shop to anyone who is around the area

I'll be equally happy to try another place as come back... but the location is perfect if you're dining on the main drag (Bridge Street) in Phoenixville.A nice little place whose ice cream is from Basset's - which I find good, not great.

I only review ice cream shops on the chocolate ice cream! It is worth going for the creamy chocolate.
