Seriously great food in the Penn/Drexel area (probably closer to Drexel). We caught them for dinner, but I'd be a regular for their lunches, too. reasonable pricing and excellent food and service. We came at a slow time, but the cook and clerk were happy to describe how they've come to enjoy serving the students here and genuinely like getting people to try different South Asian dishes. Everything we had was on point. Will definitely be back when in the area again.

This was my 4th/5th time visiting this Indian spot by my job and it's definitely growing on me as a lunch go-to. I have tried their Chicken Tikka Pizza, Garlic Naan, Lamb 65 Biriyani (highest spice level), and Kati Rolls. Overall the food is pleasant and I really enjoy the Biriyani. The prices are decent and I can count on spending less than $13. I enjoy ordering via the screen especially when it's busy, my order is always hot & they give very good portions. My only semi let down was the pizza which I wish came with a dipping sauce or different spice levels but it's a good personal size. I recommend coming a couple hours after they open simply because it's peak lunch time and the adjoined bagel shop is closing. I certainly plan on coming back to try more of the menu.

The chicken tikka pizza is great, cheesy and flavorful. tried the hakka noodles two times, normal spicy and mild, but both were very hot and spicy. Samosa tastes standard.

The bottom line is that we ordered and ate too much food. Nice cozy spot near UPenn to get some good Indian food. We had a little bit of everything to the point that we were overstuffed when we left. The whole meal was pleasurable and so was the staff. You order yourself on a computer so if you are not friendly with technology then bring someone who is. It's not a date or romantic spot but good for a quick meal, take out or lunch.

This restaurant is dependable and delicious. The spice level is great and they even allow you to customize how spicy you want your food to be. They were quick and friendly! My next try there will be the tikki pizza!

My wife was born in Mumbai and loves their street food. Based on the fact that she absolutely loved this place, that gets it the 5 star treatment. She raved about the Vada Pav even though it was a little on the spicy side for her. She still finished it and blamed it on her getting weak for being in America too long. Who am I to debate her on that? She also loved the Pani Puri. I thought the Gobi Manchurian was some of the best I ever had and the chicken kabob had fabulous flavor. I can't wait to try the 2nd place in Malvern that just opened.

If you're in a quick pinch for Indian food, then Bombay Dhabba can help out. It's good Indian food but with cut corners for some items. Call ahead to order, because there's usually only 1-2 staff members. However, sometimes they don't pick up.My go to is usually a curry and bread or the Chicken 65 Biriyani($12). This time I got the Paratha($2) and chicken Makhani ($11). The Paratha was soft and tasted freshly made. I think the curry tasted great, but my parents have told me that it tastes like they reuse curry bases for faster food production. I'm not sure anyone else would really notice, so it's still decent food. Eventhough the Chicken 65 Biriyani($12) was my obsession for a couple weeks, I wouldn't call it actual Biriyani. As an Indian, I would call it masala fried rice, since Biriyani has way more spices and toppings like peas, carrots and onions. In general, I can't resist pani puri($5), but it's not BD's best item. However, it meets the definition of cheap pani puri and works if you don't have high expectations. The potato filling is very basic in comparison to other places and the puri tasted like it was left outside for a bit.Overall, it's not the place if you're looking for an authentic home cooked Indian meal, but it's close substitute.

This gold is delicious and authentic. It reminds me of when I was young and my dad would make fresh curries and puri or when going to family's houses for dinner. Had the naan, chicken tikka masala, paneer butter masala, samosas, vada pav and gulab jamun. Everything was delicious! They even ask your spice level for those who can't do super hot spice. Will definitely return next time we're in Philly again.

Nasty chicken. Was old and dry, felt like it had been microwaved. Breads and rice are fine but I wouldn't get any meats of any kind here.
