Great south east Asia style noodles. You can order most noodles either dry or with in a soup. My soup came with pig liver and I didn't like it, so I would recommend taking it out of exotic meats aren't your thing. The price isn't bad either, about $10 a bowl. There wasn't anybody when we went for Saturday dinner for some reason, but I think it's more so the restaurants location. The server was nice and the food came out quickly.

This is the best place to get hu tieu in Houston! They specialize in this dish, and they do it so well! Hu tieu is a Vietnamese noodle dish that can be served with the broth on the side or in the same bowl with the noodles. It comes with a variety of protein (usually pork, liver, shrimp, squid), is topped with crispy onions and garlic and bits of pork fat, and served with fresh vegetables. I prefer the broth on the side because the noodles then come with a delicious sauce that's savory and a little sweet. You can choose the style of noodle you want - thick or thin egg noodles or rice noodles. I usually go with half thick egg noodles and half rice noodles because I like the chewiness of the egg noodles. The portion sizes here are generous, the pricing is great, and the servers are very sweet. This location is large and is in a large plaza that isn't too busy, so parking was easy. Ambiance is casual. I definitely recommend!

A must for Hu Tieu Kho! I always get the dry noodles but they have the soup option as well. And if you're like me and love the sauce they used, you can even buy a jar togo!

We ate here in January while visiting Houston for a few days for my birthday. Well, here we are in April and I need to finish my Houston reviews. For some reason, I feel like I must do them in order. If I don't do it now, I will forget all together. My old, forgetful mind isn't what it used to be. Could look at a picture and be like oh yeah..and remember the name of the restaurant. Now? Haha..that's a joke. Which I did forget the name of this place. I kept trying to spell it Khany Pho. Idk. Fortunately.. or unfortunately.. Google maps keeps tabs on where I go so I was able to get the name of this place. Anyway, enough rambling. I found it necessary to track down the name because the waitress was super good to my kids. They were exciting about them/us eating there and telling them about the lion dance. If it's one thing we've done right as parents, it was teaching them to appreciate and respect every culture. ANYWAY, so I don't remember what the kids and husband got..lol.I do remember what I had. It was A2.. Xi Quach. Meaty pork bone in their signature broth. The small said 3.50, so I assumed it was 3.50 for this bowl of soup with a big pork bowl! Wrong. I don't remember how much it was, but it wasn't 3.50. Maybe the pork was $3.50? Idk. Either way, it was delicious. Loved the broth. The pork was very rich. Hurt my stomach, but in a good way. It filled me up and it hit the spot. I'd definitely come back here.

Very spacious and plenty of seating for small and larger groups. Service was very fast once seated and food came out very fast...abit too fast since we waited on our appetizers and side orders when we were almost pretty much done with our food. Portion is right but honestly not a wow place for Hu tieu for me personally. Although it appears proteins seems well portion, but at a closer glance they are super thinly sliced...so really I don't feel your getting money worth if your paying 16$+ for a bowl

Really good place to eat at for a quick bite! We got Vietnamese Dried Noodles and asked for extra sauce on the side! The sauce is absolutely addicting to eat. We had two different types of noodles which allowed for different textures. For two bowls it was around 30 dollars which isn't bad at all! The service is super quick and we got our food very quickly. We came her for a pit stop on a road trip and we had no regrets at all! On a Wednesday afternoon it wasn't busy and we got seats right away

This is one of my favorite huu tieu places, if not my top choice. The menu is simple when it comes to huu tieu: soup or soup on the side, size, and type of noodles. Soup is always well-flavored, and the bowl has plenty of protein and noodles along with other garnishes. You can get your mung beans normal or steamed. There are pickled jalapeños on the table if desired. There are other options on the menu but I have no ventured past their named dish. You come in and pick a seat, a waitress takes your order and immediately water and veggies are brought to the table. Food usually comes out quick without any issues with order or delay. This is a kid friendly restaurant with booster seats and high chairs available. They'll bring out plasticware and scissors to the table when they see little kids with you. Restaurant is usually has seats without any wait, and turnover is fairly quick.

Restaurant is huge with plenty of seating. Ambiance is ok, nothing fancy but you also don't feel like you need to fear for your life to eat here. Food was good overall. I think it's a little too authentic Vietnamese for my taste (I'm not Vietnamese), and I observed that the majority of the clientele were older Vietnamese folks (making me assume it's authentic). As a matter of fact, there was a really old Vietnamese man seated and smoking like crazy immediately outside the restaurant. If you like the smell of cigarette smoke right before you eat, this is a great place. The service was aiight. A weird experience was that I ordered spring rolls and the waitress said "good choice!" Then they never came out. As we were wrapping finishing our main dish, we were handed 2 eggrolls (not the spring rolls we actually ordered). Instead of sending it back, we decided to try them. Pros: piping hot, and lots of seasoning. Cons: there was so much pepper in those eggrolls that my wife literally could not finish them. She has never passed on finishing eggrolls. Ever. I happen to love pepper so I inhaled them, but it was way too much pepper, even for more taste. As we left, I got to enjoy the sight of that old smoking man again. The best!
