Patzcuaro's has been a staple of ours ever since moving to Denver a few years ago. The food is always amazing, the employees/owners are awesome, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming.

Come on now Patzcuaro..... $12 for nachos and there is NO meat..... Did the yuppi crown do this to you.... I have been coming here for 20 years and they have had reasonable prices... And good food. I moved across town and I haven't been here for about 5 years I've been recommending the restaurant to everybody no wonder they tell me they tried something else.....Patz..... You're going to have to figure out something and that $10 bean burritos not going to get it....This is Saturday afternoon lunch time nice weather and you have two tables filled.I'm not doing this review to put you down I'm doing it because I'm upset my good restaurant is gone down hill or just change the direction I don't like....I went in here hungry and all I had was a Pepsi and some chips and left to go get something to eat elsewhere...

Delicious margs and look how big! Good tho k I only got 1- that was plenty! The food was solid as well and wonderful service.

If you drove on this street you would see it! It's a gem in a neighborhood! The service was great. The food had flavor. The portion size was perfect. Food: I had the ground beef burrito. It was smothered in green sauce and cheese. My spouse had the Michoacán Carnitas tacos. The corn tortillas were fresh and hot! My dad had the menudo and killed it! Lol. He said it was very good. We also had the queso and it was actually good. The service: our server was very quick with refills on the chips and drinks. He was very polite and professional. A great experience.The ambiance: this place felt like it was a cozy home with a family feeling. Not too loud. The World Cup was on. It was a great time. I'd definitely come back when in the area. It had flavor and hit the spot.

Love the spot for many reasons:- Location. Located in LoHi, conveniently located and close to other spots to hang out in the area afterwards if you go there for a weekend dinner- Service: one of the warmest service I've ever experienced, even if you don't speak Spanish. The warmth of the service and the humor make you want to come back and claim it to be your neighborhood spot.- Drink: best margarita I've ever had in Denver, even though there are so many good Mexican restaurants!! do you have to come here to try.- My favorite dish is the shrimp. I've been coming back and ordering it three times in a row.- Sopapillas: I love the sopapilla for dessert. It was fried to a perfectly puffy and crispy texture with sugar on the outside however, it is not overly sweet. It was served with a side of honey, and it was just absolutely delightful. It also looks like a puffy fish. Very cute for the Instagram food porn

Great food, service and ambiance. It fills up as expected during dinner & weekend lunch but what can you do? They also have a beautiful patio!

Great experience! What a wonderful back patio... totally enclosed with red brick and mature trees... water fountains too!!Carnitas are wonderful - cooked perfectly to provide both a juicy and a crisp experience... and they eliminate fatty pieces really well. Shrimp is also wonderful... garlic and light olive oil flavor!! Salsa the offer is green and has well blended fresh flavor with good heat!!We will come back again, and again... next time for enchiladas and a margarita!

Still a great place for tacos and carnitas. It's great to see the original owner is still cooking and running around! I was hoping to get my usual buche tacos, but we were informed that they no longer serve buche as the new population of the very much gentrified neighborhood isn't interested in the popular and traditional Mexican food. I'm hoping my review speaks to the new tenants of the neighborhood in hopes that other things such as menudo doesn't also fall off of the menu. Instead of contributing to the fall of a historically Latinx/Xicano neighborhood, I ask that you please support, uplift, and uphold the traditions (in this case, food) of the area.

Okay, Patzcuato's, I see you. We went here for dinner and came about an hour before they closed. They have a house grande margarita which is about 11 bucks and pretty potent. My friend recommended the beef flautas which were really good. In addition we also had the Albanil tacos. Those tacos were really good! I'll definately be going back for them. We got half chicken, half steak. Nice and spicy. We also sat in their patio which has the cutest vibe with these beautiful string lights. I love the aesthetic of this place. Also great service. My friend got the carnitas which would be a good Keto option (just skip the tortillas)

The food is always delicious and the service is quick and always friendly. They also have one of the best patios in the neighborhood! My husband and I are here a couple times a month!
