Pasta Market

This quaint Italian restaurant really brought Italy to Miami. Once you walk in, you're captivated by all the seasonings, oils and pasta that the restaurant uses. I adore how the table cloths are checkered patterns. The service was impressive when the waiter came and used an iPad to talk about the specials and to show how the actual food is comparable to the real thing. Better than using your own cellphone to find it through Yelp. smart thinking. The food was great! You can really tell that the pasta is fresh and homemade! I love how they cook the pasta al dente and it hits my tummy just right! Very satisfying and fulfilled!

While on a quick trip to Miami, I found myself in Miami Shores for the last night. I googled the best Italian restaurant and Pastamarket came up! I love little mom and pop establishments so let's do it! When our party arrived there looked to be what may have been a manager sitting in the patio area. He did not greet us. Strange. We walked towards the door and immediately a server came out asked us how many in our party and sat us down. We ordered two appetizers that were good. I ordered a Cesar Salad and when it arrived it was a chopped Cesar. Definitely different from your classic Cesar. I took two bites and ouch! There was a sharp plastic that I took a bite of. Since the server was in view I raised my hand and he quickly came over. I took the plastic out of my mouth to show him. He asked if I'd like a new salad. (Whomp whomp)Of course I do! He then asks if I'd prefer the lettuce large and I say please! When he brought it back he said the plastic was part of the bag. (Eww) On to dinner, the spaghetti bolognese was perfect! The spaghetti was made Al Dente! Oooooohhh how I love an Italian restaurant that makes their pasta correctly! Probably the best spaghetti I've had in a long time! Time for the bill!To my surprise the salad was left on bill, found that to be strange. However I didn't say anything. I like restaurants to be who they are on my first date. It establishes whether I'll be back or not.Service was lacking. The gentleman who was sitting outside was definitely a manager or maybe an owner. The fact that he never came to apologize about the salad mishap was a negative for me. Even just welcoming us would have been hospitable. My tea never got refilled the entire meal and I wasn't going to ask unless offered. Overall, good food! I wouldn't drive to the Shores for this experience but would definitely come back if I was in the area.

If you're in the mood for pasta, you must try out Pasta Market!We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a variety of homemade pasta dishes including funghi, bolognese, and more. Huge portions of pasta, that will leave you full and perhaps taking leftovers home. Indoor and outdoor seating, paid street parking close by.

Came across this small Italian restaurant and decided to try it out. The food sadly was not as authentic or generally tasty as I had hoped. Pasta with the bolognese sauce was a solid 6/10Cacio e Pepe was not good, 3/10. The sauce was drowning the pasta and the truffle was out of a jar. The stuffed squash flowers were overly stuffed and it was a mouthful of hot ricotta cheese and the batter that was fried. The service was great and I got the truffle add on taken off of the bill cause I didn't eat any of it.

My local favorite. They roll their own pasta, owner is Italian, food brings me back to the flavors of Italy- super authentic.

The food is delicious, I have tried about 5 different plates and all were great. The staff goes above and beyond to service you and are all very nice. Cristina was our most recent waiter and she was really nice. I met one of the chefs Giácomo we complimented the food and he actually gave us suggestions for other plates to try next time. Can't wait to come back.

Nice finding in the area. Missing something on their food, but overall a good flavor meal. Service is attentive Ambiance is nice Parking lot on the spot ($5/hr) no free parking around on the area.MY clams pasta was bland and requested a substitution for classic bolognesa which had a good flavor

With fresh pasta made daily, you can never go wrong with pasta market. The staff is always very attentive and very helpful with knowledge of the menu. As you can choose what pasta and sauce you would like, there is no going wrong here. It gives a cute mom and pop shop vibe with an old school Italian restaurant. Definitely prefect for a date night, dinner meeting, anything is great for this space. Indoor and outdoor seating

The pasta dish was really good Wine prices were reasonable Parking could get a bit of a challenge on a weekend after 7:30 pm The pizza crust was not good very hard they need a better oven and I think the humidity makes it a bit more if a challenge The place is worth eating in but stick to the pastas I recommend this place and will come back on my next visit
