My sister wanted to check out this cute neighborhood spot while I was visiting & we loved everything about it! Friendly service, high quality drinks and pastries and fabulous food. She tried a specialty chai that was beautifully spiced & not too sweet. I had a veggie burrito that was filled with delicious veggies & toasted for a nice touch. It was more like a quesadilla still (not bulk) but still filling. She had the mushroom egg skillet which came with a lovely side of bread. The table set up and plating were so unique & added a nice touch to the experience. We took a few pastries to go because we were full, I definitely recommend the nut and phyllo with honey treats!

Cute coffee shop and bakery on Ivanhoe. It's behind Colfax, so easy to miss if you don't know it's there. Also means there's not a huge crowd for better or worse.I ordered a chocolate, caramel croissant. I didn't realize they were made to order, and there was just one person working, so it took a while to receive, but overall it tasted good. Coffee was reasonably priced, pastry was expensive. Also the person working seemed a little aloof, but that might just be because he was trying to manage everything himself. Not a bad experience, just not a super welcoming feeling. Overall, I think the quality of their products is good and it's worth a venture into.

Cozy vibe, coffee house jazz playing. The Turkish coffee is smooth with traditional presentation and they've got lots of tempting pastries and gelato (note to self to come hungry next time).When I went on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening, it was quiet (I was the only one there).They've got internet and several plugs, so it's a great place to post up with some work.

WOW what an absolute gem! I was craving Turkish coffee but what we got was so much more. Great atmosphere here, so cozy with candles and couches! The shakshouka was delicious, so flavorful and served with fresh crusty bread. We also ordered a really unique kanafa croissant filled with sweet ricotta, truly unique and so fresh and decadent! The kafta wrap with salad was also flavorful and made to order. They have a great variety of cafe coffee and tea drinks to try! Wonderful spot to catch up with friends or have a date.

Unfortunately not a great spot if you are looking for a coffee shop in the area. Iced coffee while cheap (3$) was very burnt and had a super bitter flavor. The one employee was not very friendly either when we attempted to order which was made more challenging by the odd setup they have for to go. The interior was eclectic to say the least but had some nice music playing if you wanted to work.

Breakfast burrito was delicious and the Turkish coffee was perfect. Cute spot with a great patio. Super friendly service too.

We were in search of a new breakfast place on Sunday morning, and discovered Parkhill hub, which apparently opened in April 2023 I think. It has a really nice assortment of really different and yummy breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, though I would call them more wraps, an insane assortment of customized croissants, and some incredible coffee options. I actually had a crispy potato and egg bowl, which was really good. The potatoes were delicious and the scrambled eggs were perfectly done. The bowl had a generous amount of cheddar cheese sprinkled over all and it came with a warm soft ciabatta role that had some kind of yummy herb butter on it. My husband had a really delicious looking breakfast sandwich that had egg, cheese and Turkey bacon on it. It was awesome that they offer Turkey bacon! Both dishes were very pretty in the presentation as well. By the time I was done taking a picture, my husband had already eaten half of his sandwich so I decided against getting a shot of his. The person who made all of our food was very sweet and attentive and obviously took pride in his facility, which is very warm, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

My girlfriend took me here because she was looking for a place with good coffee. What we found was SO MUCH MORE! The food was excellent and the coffee was incredible. But what really made me write this review was the presentation and personality of the owner. The only one working, he was gracious, kind, and fast. Some regulars walked in and started talking with him like they'd known him for years. Please go see him. When you do, ask him his name because that is my only regret when we visited.

Great service, excellent coffee and off the main drag. I always try and find small local businesses that bring a small sense of local community. They offer ice cream and some nice baked treats
