Park Avenue Tacos

Weds lunch special this Sammie plus a beer or pop... TEN MONIES!!!! The bread is soft and crispy Honestly, the best lunch special I have found in denver. I could only eat half the Sammie. Service was fast portions are big. They have a super cute out door patio. Big windows that are open. Such a cute place...PARKING AVAILABLE!!!!!

Always fun and lively. Service is solid, the Tacos were fab - I loovveeddd the carnitas, they were so much more flavorful than the standard bland carnitas you get many places. Tortillas were excellent. Chips and Guac were standard fare. Drinks were average to poor, however. One member of our table had a drink that tasted like it was water, and sent it back. And my first cocktail was fine, but my second one tasted like it was water. I finished it anyway, just assuming ice was melting fast or something, but it's almost like they had a liquor bottle full of water out for bar service training and somehow tossed it on the rail after training and it got confused with alcohol. It was really weird. Kind of a bummer. But overall the place is a good stop, and hasn't stopped being good even though it changed names (and maybe owners?)We'll be back for sure, just had a meh experience because of the drinks this time.

Service is always friendly! Alan and Jacob are so friendly and make delicious margaritas! Their chili's are to die for the green and the red chili are on point. HH till 7 on drinks..$5 margs..sign me up! Add a side of habenero salsa or fried jalepeno if you want to add some spice.like me ;-)

Love love love the food, the patio and the vibe at this little taco place! We started with happy hour margaritas, chips and salsa. Progressed to carne asada tacos, shrimp tacos, fish tacos and rice. The $3 tacos on taco Tuesday were priced at less than the rice! They are tiny but mighty. Solid tacos, and can't beat the deal!

Stopped here to have a few cocktails after our ghost tour at the mansion 1509 North Marion St. I won the tickets on a local radio station jammin 101.5 so happy so excited I had a great time I suggest all of these little spots right here another picture coming soon. We came here on a Friday night and it was pretty busy at 6pm! They have happy hour that goes until 7pm which is amazing. I ordered their house Marg, it was pretty strong and I liked it. They offer a Tahin rim which I love. I ordered a combo plate with an enchilada, a Chile relleno, and tamale. It was excellent. All of them. I think my favorite was the tamale. It had a cheese sauce on it that was really tasty! All the sauces were good. Service was good as our server was friendly and attentive. I will be back!

Went during the day, they had a huge garage door window that opened to the patio which was refreshing. Felt like being outside without being outside. The bartender was great! Always checked on us and made sure we were good. We ordered both deserts it churro and fried ice cream they have a unique cinnamon flavor which made them different! Sorry didn't grab a photo, but I'll be back!

Great food, many vegetarian options. The ambiance and service are awesome too. We tried queso, enchiladas, and tostadas.

If I could just rate the team at Park Avenue Tacos, I would give them a 5-star. They were friendly, accommodating, and overall nice. We started with basic drinks; margarita and beer. Beer is beer, and the margarita is nothing to talk about, basic. Unfortunately, the food is what has caused a below average rating. We ordered the Queso Dip and Chips. Their menu states that the chips are homemade; the texture and taste of them left me wanting better and had a slightly stale taste. But later, I realized why this was. I had left to use the restroom, which is in the back of the restaurant where the kitchen is. As I approached, outside of the kitchen was an extremely large open-air clear plastic tub filled with their "homemade" tortilla chips. Beside the tub was already pre-filled baskets of their tortilla chips stacked up. I can only imagine how long it had been sitting without them being covered. Now for the Queso; the best way for me to describe the texture and taste is to imagine movie theatre nacho cheese dip that you pump out of a can. Now, if I'm at the movies, I know what I'm going to get. But, when I'm at a restaurant, my expectations are different. The good thing was the restaurant took both the Queso and chips back and removed it from my bill without question. I appreciated that. We also ordered the Burrito bowl with the Carnitas. The bowl came with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, refried beans, rice, and green chili on the side. The Carnitas was okay but lacked flavor and was plain tasting. The green chili was good. The refried beans and everything else could have come from Taco Bell, and you would not have known the difference. The atmosphere was nice. We sat outside. Overall, I left disappointed, and I won't be rushing back to this restaurant. There are far too many in the Denver area that serves their type of food that is much better quality and taste.

Good food great service and a perfect spot to hang out.And the price is right. Tacos are almost always on special.We'll be back.
