I'll start by saying the staff was very nice. It was busy and they did everything they fine. We had to wait to be seated but that is to be expected at 12 on a Sunday. The restaurant looks nice. It's a nice vibe and I can see if people wanted to take photos in there. Negatives:I don't know what it was but the water smelled and tasted so weird. I don't know if it was the glass or the water itself or what. It was really strange. The eggs were pretty gross too. The flavor was weird. I took a bite and didn't eat the rest. I don't know if they were old or what but it was not good, at all. The chicken sausage was fine. The pancakes were a little undercooked and also very thin. The undercooked part was the part I wasn't ok with. Outside was brown but it wasn't cooked all the way through. There are so many breakfast places in Atlanta. It's only natural to compare places. I would normally try something else if I didn't like what I ordered but I'm afraid to come back and order an omelette because of the taste of the eggs. I encourage everyone to try something and create your own experience. I didn't have a great first impression and it's sad because I like the ponce area and want to support as many places as I can when I come down. I hope this review is seen as constructive because I think it has potential to be good.

It is rare that I come away from a meal with literally nothing positive to say, but this place pulled it off.Put in name for table - told it'll be 20-30 minutes and they'll text us. Come back after 45 - somehow they forgot to text us. No big deal - they find us a table and seat us quickly. Table is filthy etc...but ok, lets just deal and move along (worth mention it's a Sunday morning so the place is PACKED and we're trying not to be a pain in the butt).Waitress comes over. Takes drink order. Brings coffee and milk. No spoons, no cutlery rolls, no stirring devices of any kind. Goes to take our order: we try to get the pimento cheese as an app to share - are told they're out of it (again, no big deal) but that we might, strangely, like the hot chicken instead? Like...kinda weird suggestion but...ok. Waitress then takes main course order from one party member and walks away. I guess she thought we were going to get that one order of pancakes for an appetizer? She comes back - we laugh about the mix up and she takes the orders from two more members of our party...and then goes to walk away again, leaving me without having placed an order - more or less had to flag her down so I could place my order. Kept it simple: pancakes, eggs, sausage (two party members have this, one had the patty melt, and one had the ricotta lemon pancakes). An hour. We waited a full hour for food to show up - and while I understand it's crowded, this is not exactly gourmet dining. It's freakin pancakes. IHOP can roll people in and out in a matter of 20 minutes...so really no excuse for that. But honestly, I wish it'd taken longer. Lets break down what we wound up with:Coffee - grounds in every cup after drinking. Lemon-ricotta pancakes - raw in the middle - tasted OK other than that once syrup was poured on (the wateriest syrup of all time which we also had to ask for because container on table was empty - and we had to use a lot of it because the promised powdered sugar was nowhere in sight) - oh and were delivered a solid 10 minutes before any of the other food because, of course, that had been taken as an appetizer orderSide of fruit with local honey - no honey Pancakes w/eggs and sausage - they screwed up which meats came out but we were tired of waiting so dealt with it. Chicken sausage was nasty, eggs inedible after sitting under a heat lamp for lord knows how long. Pancakes were good.Patty melt - cheese unmelted, bread a soggy disgusting mess - waitress' response was 'Oh it's usually toasted'. Description on menu includes cucumber salad but that never showed...guess it's still under the heat lamp with the local honey and the powdered sugar?Water - best thing we had was the ice water. It was cold and plentiful and only had to be requested 3 or 4 times. To her credit waitress offered to have food swapped out but after waiting an hour, we were out of time. What followed was some of the most uncomfortable interaction as the manager offered to take 15% off the sandwich that was not eaten. The person who ordered it chuckled because that's honestly a stupid offer for this meal of errors - manager then offers to take 50% off the whole meal, which would have been lovely - but she then gave me the bill to pay and only took 50% off the one dish. I wasn't about to continue to awkward conversation, so I paid and we left. What I wanted more than ANYTHING was just for the awkward staring to end as they waited for us to tell them something else I guess? Oh and we double tipped because we thought money had been taken off. I actually went to the waitress specifically to make sure she saw we had left her cash - and she said "Can I just say one more thing?" - oy vey, but ok - "You should have told me the table was dirty so I would have wiped it down" - alright, now LOOK HERE missy, you're telling me you don't wipe down tables between customers? I have to ASK for that? At a restaurant with crazy watery maple syrup you don't wipe down the tables as SOON as the customers leave???? Naw fam...that was it. I'm done here. Just walked away.I'm sure the place would do better when not crowded but they absolutely CANNOT handle a crowd. Every single bit of this meal was terrible from start to finish. Fortunately I'm not from the area so odds are I'd never be there again anyway...but this meal was so bad I'm tempted to move to Atlanta just so I can intentionally never go here again.

This morning, my friend and I decided to grab breakfast at Pancake Social before heading to the Piedmont Park Art Festival. I'd been wanting to try this spot for the longest time, and it didn't disappoint! We both ordered the PS Pancake Plate she substituted French toast for pancakes, while I stuck with the classic pancakes. She loved her French toast, and I have to say, these were the best pancakes I've had in a long time. We also tried the weekend only brunch punch, which was amazing and added a perfect touch to our meal. Our server, Lou, was incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I'd highly recommend asking for her if you visit. If you're in the area, Pancake Social is a must try!

Food: great Service: great Ambiance: clean, nice and hot (I was sweating )This was my first time here and I'd definitely come back. You have the option of paying per hour in the closet by parking lot or garages on property. We had no wait and my party of 4 was immediately sat down at 12pm on a Saturday. There's a good mix of options whether you are vegetarian or carnivore. And also trying to eat healthier. I had the omelette and requested it to be egg whites only with no meat and the fried potato fritters on the side.I also got the banana + oat pancake stack. I was throughly pleased with both plates. Good portions for the price. I left more than satisfied. The mimosas carafes are cheap for $10 but don't expect to get a buzz. The drinks taste good but you also get what you pay for at that price point. Our server was super nice and attentive. We were a party of 4 and they easily allowed us to pay separately with credit cards with no problem. And BEST OF ALL there's no automatic 20% gratuity charged to your check. You get to control your tip which is rare here in scamming Altanta.

YOU PANCAKE MY BREATH AWAY! Needed a breakfast spot that was similar to a greasy spoon and stumbled upon Pancake Social. Pancake Social is a fast casual breakfast and brunch spot located at the Ponce City Market. Walking inside it reminded me of Hero Doughnuts and Buns with its layout. Loved the clock decor, and minimalistic interior design. We both ordered the berry lemonade which was honestly some of the best lemonade we've had in a long time. We wished it came in a gallon container for customer to buy. This would give the business extra revenue at the end of the day. For a meal I ordered the chia seed bowl and my partner ordered the Bacon Egg and Cheese (BEC). I know, we came to a pancake spot and got anything but... however, I knew I was not going to be able to eat a 3 stack of pancakes. They were the size of my head. If you are looking for a delicious fast casual breakfast spot I highly suggest Pancake Social. If you do have the appetite for a fat stack of pancakes, go for it. I just did t want to be in a food coma. Haha.

This is a good place for small brunch or date. There were flies in the building but it was due to the traffic. Our server was decent, she checked on us, made sure our order was correct but nothing over the top. The food was tasteful. The omelette was very soft, fluffy and buttery which gave it a good taste actually. Bacon was standard, pancakes with thin but flavorful as well. The French toast was also surprisingly tasteful as I thought it was going to be too sweet, and it was close, but very good. Overall, I would return for sure.

Really enjoyed our meal here this morning. Our server was really friendly and fast. The coffee was hot and the orange juice tasted so fresh and delicious! My husband got the chicken and French toast and could not stop raving about it. It had hot honey chicken and the waitress recommended the berry sauce on top which you'd never think to add but he said it was unreal. I loved my pancakes with whipped butter! The only thing was my eggs and sausage were served a few min after and they were cold. I would recommend for breakfast and they have lots of larger tables too for groups!

Checked Pancake Social off my "breakfast spots to try" list! Came here for a breakfast meeting with my boss and we had a wonderful time. We were one of the first groups there and finding parking was a breeze (you do have to pay so be mindful of how much time you have so your time doesn't expire). The decor was very simple and cute. White walls, cute pics, fun sayings around the restaurant. Not a stuffy environment at all. This was my first visit and will definitely come back. Each staff member was super friendly and I appreciated how our waitress made sure that we had everything we needed. I ordered buttermilk pancakes and added blueberries (wise decision) with a side of eggs and chicken links. The pancakes were so fluffy and light which I truly enjoyed and the chicken links were really tasty. The pancakes were huge (in my opinion) so I definitely had leftovers which I thoroughly enjoyed the next day.To continue with the sweet breakfast train, my boss ordered the cinnamon french toast sticks which were shareable and delicious. The powered sugar add just an extra level of greatness and they were just warm and delicious. She also ordered a eggs, bacon, spinach with cheese on an english muffin with potato fritters that she also enjoyed.Such a cute place with great food and awesome service!

Would have given 5 stars, but we called the day before to make a reservation for a party of 10. We were told we could not make reservations. When we arrived the next day with our party of 10, we were told we should have made a reservation!!!! The chocolate chip pancakes were amazing, thoroughly enjoyed the pork sausage, cheesy grits and berry lemonade. Our server, Eugenia was courteous, attentive and sweet.
