LALAS KITCHEN at Paloma is open! They just opened for Thursday Friday and Saturday for dinner and karaoke. I had so much fun last weekend there! I've tried almost all the food there and it is delish! The prices are very reasonable also. The people there treat you like family making it a comfortable atmosphere. BYOB so come out and enjoy!

Horrible food! If I could, I would give it no stars! No wonder this restaurant barely has any customers! The location isn't a very safe place either. Would not recommend people to go here whatsoever.

A true hole in the wall Filipino cafeteria and bakery located in a rundown strip center. Plenty of pot holed parking spaces were available. The neighborhood was scratchy even in day time. My wife was so scared she wouldn't allow me to go inside. Instead she wanted me to back the car in and leave the car running for a quick get away if needed. The front door was kept locked at all time and the doorbell was broken. My wife had to call the owner to let her in. We went mainly to buy suman, a sweet rice desert for my mother in law, my Mom, and my youngest daughter. We also picked up fried sweet plantains and Filipino beef stew to try. Everyone declared the suman was the best in the greater Houston area and the beef stew was ok only. We were not impressed with sweet plantain, not sweet enough. The price of the sweet rice was the cheapest around town. The price of the beef stew was a little high, but acceptable. We will return to try other sweet deserts.

I've been privey to Erlinda's food since before she opened Paloma's. You can say I was a test subject with a palate. Super good Filipino food and abundance. I'm so glad she has taken on her calling. The peanut butter oxtails stew and filipino beef stew were superb. Don't forget to ask for lumpia. Also, Erlinda is a great conversationist and very friendly to talk to just like being home and talking to you Mom. "Siya ay tulad ng aking matamis na Nanay"
