3.5 StarsI decided to try this place after a friend told me she heard good things about it, and since it was super close to work, more reason to go! I ordered my Thai restaurant usuals, Massaman curry and a rice noodle dish. Normally I would get pad kee mao, but since the name of the place is Pad Thai Cuisine and their signature dish was the pad Thai egg omelet, I opted for pad Thai instead.Food came out relatively quickly and was pipping hot.Since the Massaman curry was packed on top (ordered to go), I decided to try that first. The price was a bit steep in my opinion ($15.99 including a protein of choice), but the serving size was quite big and it was generously loaded with chicken, so can't rly complain. There were also a few potato cubes, a few onion pieces, and a handful of peanuts. I was a bit disappointed to not even receive one piece of carrot after reading on the menu that it came with carrots and potato . I love carrots! Oh well.Taste wise was also a bit disappointing. While the flavor was good, the entire curry just tasted super watered down. I seriously like my own homemade Massaman curry using Arroyo D Massaman paste more. Not sure if it's bc I had asked that it be made as not spicy as possible, but this dish just didn't do it for me. However, on the upside, I really enjoyed the pad Thai egg omelet. What a creative way to wrap pad Thai inside a thin egg omelet! Signature dish was definitely the star. There are still quite a few items on the menu to sample, so if you come here, I would recommend getting the pad Thai egg omelet and something else other than Massaman curry.
