New to the area. Heard positive reviews about this place. Boy were they right. Service was excellent and the food was even better. They have a pretty good variety as far as their food menu goes. Rustic, down home feel. Their beer selection is pretty good too.On the night we visited just so happened to be trivia night and we all love trivia.I've gotta say, the host is one of the best we have ever seen and we've seen a lot. He's wonderful. We'll be Wednesday night regulars now so look for us.

I was hesitant to try this place at first because of the location (it's tucked away in a corner), but my husband and I got to the restaurant 15 minutes before they opened on a Sunday, and there was already a line of people. We got sat immediately and our server was fantastic. I can't remember her name, but she was awesome!We started with Teas which were both amazing (sweet & unsweet) and then had some fried mushrooms and sweet potato fries as appetizers. My pizza was phenomenal! My husband got the club sandwich which was also great! We finished the meal with a MASSIVE blackberry cobbler that is absolutely shareable (2-4 people). The restaurant had nice lighting and TV's spread out enough for everyone. The table set ups are also nice!

A Loud Night at Pacific Yard HouseThe three of us went for Dinner on a recent Tuesday evening. We have been here several times and decided to return for an evening dinner of catching up with family. When we arrived around 7 pm, there were a couple of guitar players/singers warming up on the stage. We were seated right away at a table on the far back left. Our server was prompt and attentive. I had the blackened snapper, with cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The dinner was very good, with the fish cooked exactly as I like it. The cole slaw was good, but nothing special and the potatoes were very good. The only downside to the evening was that the live music was VERY LOUD. When they were singing, there was no way to hold any type of conversation. We left with headaches because it was so loud, even though we were seated very far away from the stage. Nothing against the performers, but we'll probably stick to coming here during the day if we want to have any type of a quieter meal with conversation.

I was a little concerned when we first arrived because the hostess was not very friendly- however, our server, Emily, was a doll. She really listened and suggested the perfect accompaniment to my rib eye. Food was delicious, service was great, place was clean with good music - I would definitely come back and I'd ask for Emily again - I was really impressed with her attentiveness and friendly personality. Fried pickles were a great starter.

While exploring downtown after moving into the area, we happened upon Pacific Yard House and stopped in to have a beer and an appetizer. The craft beer selection wasn't bad and we tried something new as we are new to Texas craft beer. We also ordered the Beer Cheese and Pretzels; House made Shiner bock beer cheese served with deep fried pretzels tossed in sea salt. The most awesome pretzels we have ever had! Right then, we knew we had found a great place. We returned with friends to listen to some live music and try out some of their entrees. I ordered the Smoke House Burger: A beef patty with melted mixed cheese, pulled pork, fried onion, bourbon glaze, and fried jalapeno chips. This was an awesome burger as were the onion rings! Big and full of flavor, I really enjoyed my meal! My wife went with the Bourbon Glazed Salmon: Bourbon marinated salmon served on a bed of rice and basted with bourbon glaze. My wife said that this was some of the best pieces of salmon she had ever had. The service as good we the hostess Coco was outstanding! Fun to chat with and a wealth of knowledge about this restaurant. I highly recommend trying out Pacific Yard House if you are new to the area and want some great food, good drinks in a great atmosphere.

Came for dinner tonight with GF. Very inpressed with the service, severs and the food. Been here before for a drink and band but first time eating food.I wasn't aware but ended up they had dueling piano show at 9pm... seen this show 3 years ago here...really good.Ordered the bourbon salmon with Sweet potato fries and the chicken fried chicken with Mac and cheese and mashed taters.The chicken fried chicken was really good, hand battered and everything was hot and fresh. Everything tasted great and prices were good too.Highly recommend Will return again for dinner for sure
