One of the best parts about having a September birthday is being able to enjoy Miami Spice dinners. This week we tried Osteria and we're giving a 10/10 for food, service (thanks to Angelo) and ambiance. We tried all 3 Antipasti on the menu- they were all phenomenal and large portions! CARCIOFI E PECORINOPOLPETTEBURRATA CAPRESEFor dinner we tried: TAGLIATA DI MANZORADIATORI AL PESTO E RICOTTAFETTUCCINE AI FUNGHI E PARMIGIANOAnd for dessert they brought a birthday tiramisu & we tried the SEMIFREDDO AL FRUTTO DELLA PASSIONE and a Nutella spin on this one.Miami spice is almost over and I highly reccomend trying this one you won't be disappointed!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria in Biscayne, and it was everything I had hoped for. Although I was intrigued by the spice menu, we opted for the regular menu, which offered a wider selection more suited to our tastes. We started with the eggplant Parmesan, and it was absolutely delightful. For my main course, I chose the Cacio e Pepe with truffle, despite initial hesitation. It turned out to be an extraordinary dish, with the truffle elevating it to a whole new level. Our server, Carolina, was exceptional, guiding us through the menu and specials with great expertise. My mother opted for the Ravioli Fichi e Gorgonzola, which she thoroughly enjoyed. To finish our meal, we indulged in the tiramisu, which was a decadent conclusion to an already fantastic experience.I'm already looking forward to my next visit--Osteria in Biscayne has certainly made a lasting impression

I've driven past Osteria more than a couple of times, but Miami's bottomless supply of trendy spots and old classics sometimes cause you to miss out on neighborhood gems like this one. Located right on Biscayne Boulevard and just past 79th Street, this little bistro was a cozy spot for Italian dining. They have a mix of both inside dining as well as a covered terrace. We initially sat there, but were able to be moved to the inside area (with better AC).Our group started with their meatball appetizer. Although they originally come plain they are served in a bowl of a deliciously robust marinara that can be served to anyone's liking (I am a sauce hog). I can say they were tasty even without the sauce. Our second app was their creamy burrata ball with fresh tomatoes and a tableside service of their plum tomato granita.Although their menu favors seafood dishes (and why I'm keeping off one star) I was able to find an aromatic and delicious Fig Ravioli with a warm gorgonzola sauce & crispy Prosciutto. The portion was generously sized for leftovers the next day. I also made sure to leave some space for their jiggly and berry-covered panna cotta. My friends ordered a tiramisu that was as tasty as it was beautifully presented tableside.

I had a craving for pasta so I checked out Osteria. This started off started shaky with when they served the table side bread- it didn't taste freshly baked and they served no butter or balsamic just oil! I was suprised there was nothing to put on the bread but after asking the waitress she brought us balsamic. We ordered from the regular menu and Miami spice. This artichoke and pecerino and cheese dip was served with a pizza style bread. They served it cold and it just wasn't the vibe. The flavor of the pasta with clams was good -however the pasta was wayy before al dente. The mushroom fettuccine from Miami spice was very basic and lacking flavor.Given that the pasta was a little hard they were kind enough to bring us the tiramisu complimentary. Round of applause for this dessert - because it was spoon licking good. The passion fruit semi Freddo was so sweet it over powered the entire dessert. Overall I don't think the food is horrible but not grea

My boyfriend and I just moved into the neighborhood and have been curious to try this place out. We decided to check it out for our six month anniversary. It was so pleasant! We enjoyed the veal appetizer, Prosecco, a tagliatelle shallot special, ossobuco, nebbiolo, and tiramisu. The portions were great, everything was tasty, and overall a lovey experience. Carolina helped us make our selections and was so friendly. I already want to return and try to the beet salad and fig ravioli. Thank you for a lovely evening!

The apps, main course, and service were both great, but I am leaving four stars because I am extremely disappointed by the tiramisu dessert, the desert was not made properly. The ladyfinger cookies were hard, but only were the cookies hard, the tiramisu was not sweet, which is very disappointing for an Italian restaurant.

I asked one of my friends to pick out a fancy restaurant in Miami to go to for my birthday and she found this one. She's kind of amazing for that because the place was really incredible. The venue has a really beautiful atmosphere with gentle lighting and good acoustics. It most definitely felt like an upscale fancy restaurant, but the people working it are also very hospitable! I arrived without a reservation because, like I said, I asked my friend to pick out a spot for me to go because I was coming up blank on locations. So we went up to the counter to ask for a table and while we were waiting the man addressing us poured us all a glass of Prosecco! And I just thought that was so cool and sweet...The food is flavorful and the flavor profiles are deep. Just felt like I was really chowing down on some top-tier stuff, you know? And some of the dishes have a bit of presentation to go with it. I especially liked the tiramisu construction and eating it was probably the best tiramisu I've ever had. They don't skimp on the portions either. Our server, Pablo, was very friendly and procedural, explaining things to the table very clearly. Checked up on us frequently and was very receptive to questions and requests. I also love that it seems like the people working the restaurant speak Italian--but they also speak Spanish (this is Florida after all) to better serve the clientele. The restaurant packs your leftovers for you when you ask for a to-go box, which is something I've never experienced before but am not opposed to. And if you ask for a drink with a straw you get a really cool pasta straw. It is expensive but honestly I think they deserve to have the prices like that. So my goal is to get my money up high enough so I can afford a place like this without my parents paying for it :PIt's five stars would recommend :)
