My husband and I tried out Osteria Marco for his birthday dinner, and we were certainly not disappointed. To start, we arrived before our reservation, and the staff was happy to seat us early. As a younger couple, we often get seated a the worst seats in the restaurant, but the staff seated us at a nice big booth, which we appreciated. We began our meal with the burrata, and it was DELICIOUS! We devoured the entire plate, which says a lot, given its large size. It worked for the two of us, who were starving, but it would would for a larger group as well. We also opted for drinks, my husband getting the Stoned and Sour, and me getting the Living Vicariously. They both tasted good, and not too strong, but strong enough to get a happy dinner date buzz. For mains, my husband ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo and loved it. We're pretty skeptical about shrimp in Denver, being from CA, but it was rich and tasted great. I ordered the carbonara, and would definitely give it the stamp of approval as a carbonara lover. It was also rich, and guanciale was cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of food. Lastly was dessert, which somehow also exceeded expectations. I got a chocolate bomb and my husband ordered the bread pudding - both were absolutely amazing. Rich, tasty, and perfect to cap off a lovely dinner. As for pricing, given the portion sizes, quality, and taste of the meal, it was very fair. Of course it's a nicer dinner, so it was on the pricier side, but worth every penny for an occasion. Since it was my husband's birthday, our waitress comped his dessert. It was an absolutely delightful dinner place.

We ordered the barrata after our waitress recommended it. We asked for the prosciutto on the side, as we had a vegetarian. When it was delivered I told the waiter we'd asked for the prosciutto on the side. "Did you tell your waitress that". Ah YES. That's why I'm telling you. He did not apologies or anything, just walked away. Not the best introduction. Our waitress was very good. Other staff were good too, just not the first guy. Given they tell you they're charging a 22% tip before you order, I'd expect it to be good. Food was good except the risotto. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The risotto had little to no body and tasted like butter.

This is place favorably located in Larimer. Though Larimer itself is just one block with most stores related to clothes or are closed. We picked this restaurant because it didn't have something weird on it like "Octupus" and the food on the menu was well described. The food was great. Waiter didn't hear that we ordered an appetizer so that came after the dinner, much to our disappointment. The only BIG catch is, that they charge 22% Workers fee not included with tip. And this forces customers to pay an additional 22% on top of the expensive bill in order to pay the waiters when the restaurant owner can't even do that themselves. I feel this is unfair, and we will never go back again because of this. Pay your employees well, and then they'll stay. Don't punish the customers or we won't come back.

We went Saturday for dinner with a big group. We were able to get the private room downstairs which was nice. Our server didn't really seem like she had any interest in being there. Not very friendly, was just there.. we shared the burrata with pursuit to and it was absolutely delicious. So creamy and yummy. I knew we were going out to the bars after so I ordered the watermelon salad with chicken. It was good but it was lacking something - maybe acidity. I've made a better watermelon salad at home.. overall I would definitely like to go back to try to some other dishes

The space is pretty big in the lower level of the restaurant. There were several tables with patrons. It was still early in the evening when we were seated quickly yet the pizza did take a while to arrive although it was really delicious. Too bad I didn't have enough time to revisit this establishment to try other items on the menu.Heads up they have a few service charges that are not usual in most restaurants.

I had an arugula salad and the wild mushroom pasta. The food and service were both good. I would easily give four stars if not for the 23% in fees they add to to the check. They should just raise their prices 23%, and let customers decide if they want to spend that much, rather than forcibly stick a big fee on to everyone's tab. I wonder how often people double tip, because they didn't notice the fee.

Beck our server was amazing. Super friendly, bubbly, efficient and just so happy. Hard to find people like her in hospitality. Our food was so good. Rich in flavor. The outdoor seating area was perfect to experience Larimer Street. The perfect way to say goodbye to Denver.

Osteria Marco is located in the heart of Denver (Larimer Square) and is absolutely delicious. Almost all the food on the menu is made from scratch and you can see the chefs hard at work in the kitchen. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I tried so many menu items but wanted more. There is a lot of indoor dining and some outdoor dining.

I tried contacting the restaurant first about this but they didn't respond so I feel it's important to leave this info in a review. Beware that they charge an automatic 22%(!) tip/hospitality charge no matter the size of your group. I find this to be insulting and outrageous. Adding gratuity to large parties is understandable but even then the max any restaurant should charge is 20%. I did not see a sign or info on this automatic 22% (+ another 1% for something else) on their menu. We only learned of it after dining and as we received our check. Our service was good, food was also fine and we liked the wine selection. We would have tipped really well but learning that they took it upon themselves to charge us 22% left such a bad taste in our mouths so we won't be returning. I guess they don't care about repeat customers since they're located in the touristy Larimer Square.
