We were able to make reservations over the phone about an hour prior to arrival on a Sunday. To our surprise, the restaurant was pretty empty around 2 PM on Sunday.Staff was very welcoming and friendly and made an effort to know what country my partner and I were from. The tables are a little close to one another and the aesthetic of the restaurant is not as exciting as I expected it to be, but still nice that you can see pasta makers from right outside the restaurant window. The menu is very neat and has a section where you can scan a barcode to view pictures of the entrees and select what you want to eat in a visual way. Many great wine options with nice Italian selection of course. I ordered a lovely Sauvignon blanc by the glass. Bread oil and vinegar were brought to the table to start. Oil tasted as if it is first cold pressed. Balsamic vinegar was also delicious. We skipped appetizers and I'm glad we did because portions for entree were big. They have some lovely plates and cups with all the cities where they have this restaurant. I really enjoyed my pasta with a super rich bolognese style kind of sauce. They grated fresh Parmesan to put on top! I would go again! I just hope the ambiance changes and becomes more intimate, lively with Italian decor, etc.

NO TAP WATER;WTF?I haven't ordered yet but I must say I'm already turned off! Not serving tap water is blatant grab for higher sales. A joke!I am hoping for a restorative experience with the food. Also, super expensive; it better be good...I'll keep you postedThe food was good, not great...save your money

For quite some time I have been very skeptical about the restaurants on Lincoln Road, especially because of how depressed this area of Miami Beach has become. The high rents have killed many businesses and for those that remain, especially in the gastronomic offerings, It has been necessary to reduce quality and raise prices to stay alive.Fortunately for many of us who enjoy Italian food, this Osteria makes a difference with the others, helping of course to the reactivation of this street mall. The food is very good, they have exactly the same menu as their other locations around Italy, the service is on point, without neglecting the customer but not harassing them either and the prices are quite fair. The only drawback is that the interior space is very small and in the rainy season it will be difficult to dine there.

Had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately extremely overpriced for a pasta. $45 (with tax and tip) for an amatriciana pasta. Could make this dish for 10 people at home for that price. Trying to replicate European style street concept yet unsuccessfully, not the vibe (nor the price). Irrelevant service.

Very authentic Italian food! I got the gnocchi and it was cooked to perfection. Mine was a little greasy from the cheese and it could have used a little seasoning. The atmosphere sitting on Lincoln road and people watch is always a treat! Friendly service and you know they have fresh ingredients as they make the pasta fresh in the window!

Sad.The restaurant seats around 30 in an indoor dining room, plus about the same number of people al fresco on Lincoln Road. The first two table right after you enter are behind a giant window overlooking Lincoln Road and have people making artisanal pasta. We were a party of 6 an were promptly seated. Doors are kept open, so we had a brisk (and uncomfortable) winter breeze coming in. I guess in the summer the issue are mosquitoes and heat. Our server claimed to be Italian and started the interaction being somewhat rude. That was an omen, things would quickly go downhill. We ordered burrata and caprese for starters, which were mostly tasteless, as was the bread. For mains, everyone ordered pasta. I ordered the gnocci sorrentina, which were saltless, insipid and plain, even though the texture (which is arguably the hardest thing to achieve) was okay.A friend who joined us and asked for an alfredo-like option for her 10-year old was literally scolded by the waiter, who claimed, in a very loud voice, that this was an Italian restaurant with no cheese pasta and no spaguetti and meatballs. There was nothing wrong with the message, but the attitude was simply unacceptable. In summary, pasta dishes are USD 30+ and mostly tasteless, service is hideous and very rude, and dining room is not kept at a pleasant temperature. You could call this a tourist trap, and I would not disagree.

Miami Beach shares an authentic taste of Rome! The staff at Osteria Da Fortunata, like true Italians, make you feel right at home. The menu offers mouthwatering pasta dishes with the perfect drink selection to pair.To start I enjoyed my favorite, an Aperol Spritz with an order of the caprese. The mozzarella was so tasty and fulfilled my cheese craving. I'm a true pesto girl, so of course had to try the tagliolini pesto. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the pesto was certainly done right! Highly recommend this dish. This restaurant is a much try. Thank you for having us!

Took me back to when I was in Italy! Had an amazing time here. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Miami weather. The team is fresh making the pasta in front of you so you know it's going to be good. The food was incredible! Our server suggested the carbonara and it did not disappoint. I loved it! So happy we have a piece of Italy here.

Osteria Da Fortunata Brings Authentic Italian Dining to Miami BeachTucked away on the bustling Lincoln Road in South Beach, the recently opened Osteria Da Fortunata transports diners straight to Italy with its charming trattoria ambiance and mouthwatering regional dishes. As the first US outpost of this family-owned restaurant group based in Tuscany, Osteria Da Fortunata fills a niche for authentic Italian cuisine in Miami. The service is as warm as an Italian nonna's embrace. Our server Luigi offered enthusiastic recommendations from the menu of Tuscan classics. We started with outstanding appetizers including olive ascolane, fried olives filled with meat and oozing juices, and creamy burrata di bufala served with bruschetta, the perfect combination of fresh tomatoes and melted cheese. For the main course, the pasta dishes stole the show. The rich strozzapreti alla carbonara, sciavallelli amatriciana, and fettuccine al ragu were cooked to perfection with flavors that transported us back to Italy. To end the meal on a high note, we tried two stellar desserts - the classic tiramisu with just the right ratio of mascarpone and espresso, and a light and creamy zabaione that was the perfect sweet finish. From start to finish, Osteria Da Fortunata provides a transportive and delicious culinary journey thanks to authentic dishes, fantastic service, and a intimate trattoria ambience. Luigi's warm hospitality made our Sunday lunch a memorable family moment. This trattoria is a must-visit for foodies looking to get a taste of Tuscany without leaving South Florida. We'll definitely be back!

This place was spectacular! The first few pages of the menu was a rundown of who they are as a restaurant, when you looked inside you can see these wonderful women making the pasta in house. Their ingredients are imported from Italy, the restaurant originated from Rome! I had the carbonara and my boyfriend had the ragu, both were phenomenal. Alberto was great, very personable and hospitable! Their espresso martini was amazing, it was smooth to the palette and a perfect mix of alcohol and espresso. Definitely will be back!!
