OMAKAI sushi

Omakai offers a wonderful sushi experience that feels special without being over the top. The quality of the fish is excellent, and you get great value for what you pay. Our waiter, Angel, made the night even better with his attentive service and helpful recommendations. He was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with ease. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, perfect for a casual but memorable dinner. If you're looking for delicious sushi and great service at a fair price, Omakai is a fantastic choice. We'll definitely be back!

I'm at the soft opening at Omakai in Aventura.I had the Blue Crab, pretty good, so you won't be crabby! ;)wagyu Nigiri and the Others magi Nigir - nothings fishy here, The wagyu made me feel tender!You must swing by.

Omakai is the best affordable omakase experience in miami (though the fish is the same every time.) The grove location has better ambiance than Wynwood, but the quality at both locations is the same. The Homeakase boxes are delicious as well & a great choice for when you don't want to leave home!The scallop nigiri and crab hand roll are my personal favorites!

I got their highest Omakai meal 15 course option for $95 so I could try a little of everything. If you're looking to indulge in their menu a little I think this was a great taster if you've never been here. Otherwise they have a very reasonable course meal for $40- $50 that's a great start too! I wasn't a bug fan of their oyster or crab nigiri but everything else was absolutely some of the best sushi I've had in Miami. I'm not the biggest fan of scallops but I had to order their truffle scallops TWICE EXTRA because I was so blown away by the incredible flavor and texture. Hotate Truffle on the menu, by the way. You're welcome. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the ambience was quiet and peaceful. I loved it but I imagine it can get quite lively at night being in Wynwood. The service was SO excellent and attentive. The staff anticipated my needs, refilled my tea just as I was about to finish and even suggested menu items for me when I went to order something based on something extra they had in that day that wasn't on the menu (yellowtail belly - my favourite!).Absolutely loved it and can't wait to return!

This sushi spot was SO GOOD! Each piece was so delicious, perfectly seasoned and fresh, and melted in my mouth. I found the different soy sauces so unique and flavorful and perfect with the respective nigiris. Absolutely enjoyed my experience and would definitely come again!

Amazing omakase sushi experience! The restaurant is on the smaller side and very intimate, the staff were very attentive. All of the selections were delicious and fresh.

My friend and I came here for dinner and did the Oma deluxe experience. I only took 1 photo, but everything was melt in your mouth delicious I never wanted to stop eating! The price is great for omakase in my opinion/experience and definitely worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

Can I tell you how much I love this place?? I really enjoy the food, the different textures and amazing flavors. I love that everything is served little by little so you can really enjoy it. The service is top of the line which makes the ambiance, and great music they play, all that much better. Now I've told you. Can't wait to go back.

The Omakai takeout experience is exceptional. I usually don't enjoy eating take out, especially sushi but THIS is an exception. I know Omakai didn't invent the take-out sushi box concept but I don't care!!! It's perfect to me.The nigiris are dressed & seasoned perfectly, fish is fresh, price is reasonable.. dare I say affordable. I wish I could eat this everyday.

After a long weekend of festivities, we decided to have a light meal to soothe our stomachs. A large majority of our group chose the experience and the deluxe as their choices. I was pleasantly surprised for the quality and the price point. I ordered a few options ala carte and really enjoyed the unagi foie gras and the uni toro with caviar. I shared a few items with my partner from his experience set and really enjoyed the negi toro hand roll. As a heads up, everything is coursed so you will be receiving your miso soup at the end. The service was also very friendly and attentive and our server did well to explain how the menu worked and explained each course. Overall, we all left very happy and content with our meals. If I'm ever back in area, I will definitely be back!
