So I've been twice, once for breakfast and another for lunch. Breakfast: the coffee here is the best I've had in Houston!! They have a cappuccino on the menu but not a latte which is a bit disheartening. However, when I inquired they were able to accommodate! For breakfast, I had a deliciously scrumptious butter biscuit with eggs, bacon and delicious potatoes. It was absolutely divine- 10/10. Lunch: the cappuccino (requested latte) was so good, I ordered it again. I had a deliciously flavorful buffalo chicken salad with crispy bacon, lettuce and tomato on a croissant. Omg!! It was so good I inhale it after I intentionally cut it in half for portion control. Let's be real, portion control went out the door after the first bite!!This restaurant had a heartfelt and powerful story behind it (see the website). With the amazing food and service it's definitely a top favorite in MO City!! The decor and jazz music create a relaxing and sophisticated ambiance too.

Delicious! I will start with the food. First time, but will definitely visit again...i have more dishes i want to try! The reuben was the best I've ever tasted. Can you describe a sandwich as decadent? Well, this one is just that! I was skeptical of the warm potato salad (only because i have not had before) but it was luscious. Cant say enough about the food but i want to compliment the service and atmosphere, as well. The owner (I presume) is so gracious and informative. The general manager was very warm and welcoming. BOTH gentlemen take great pride in their establishment and they have every right! The bathrooms are immaculate, dining area is chic but very comfortable. kudos to the attention to detail with the flatware and dish/serving vessels...top quality!!I cant wait to return!!

Hands down this place is a gem. The food was on point. Besides the service being excellent. I have never tasted so much flavor in such dishes. I spoke with I think was the owner and they have only been open for 9 months. We stumbled along this place by mistake and now we will be going at least once a week. This is a must try. That Southern Belle Soup was the best thing I have had in a long time. Great flavor, greens cut to the perfect size. A MUST TRY!!!

My mother took a chance on Yelp's recommendation. It did not disappoint. The lobster bisque was smooth and silky, great flavor. I had the salmon picatta well seasoned and moist (cooked medium), my mother tried the beef medallion, chef kiss.... tender and flavorful. I will be back!

The food, service, ambiance, decor, everything was amazing. We had breakfast and came in here last minute before deciding to not go to Denny's. Best decision ever. I'm obsessed. Both my husband and I had food-gasims while we ate. Can't wait to try lunch and dinner

A fairly new restaurant with beautiful interior. The colors are simple yet inviting. The restaurant is a little small (mostly tables for groups of 2 or 4) but they have a long table in the middle of the restaurant for a group of 6. Menu is simple and limited but in a good way. I had The Prime Time, and a side of Italian soup. The soup was scrumptious! It was loaded with sausage and potato, and well seasoned. A soup side wasn't good enough for my stomach, a bowl would be better. I like the buns on The Prime Time. Love that they were buttered and grilled. Yum! The filet mignon could be better seasoned for more flavors though.

So my wife suggested that we try "That new Oliver's place..". She had told me that her coworker said it was good. I was skeptical because it wasn't my usual kind of place. I'm kind of a meat and potatoes kind of guy. Well I guess I need to add "Soup and Sandwich" kinda guy to my resume. The "Southern Belle" which was the soup suggested by the hostess who was great by the way. It was really good. She also asked if I like pulled pork? Hell yes I do...lol. So I got the full Overnighter, which is pulled pork shoulder, cheese, bell peppers, etc.. I was the star of the show. Also the iced-tea was great, you can tell it was brewed with a good grade of water. I didn't need 4 sugar packets to make it taste good. If you want to step out of your box and not spend $100 doing it, this is the place. Thanks guys, we'll be back!

Loved this place! Food was great. You can tell it's family owned and they are proud of it. We came to eat lunch with 20 of my friends and the service was fantastic!! Everyone had salads, soups, sandwiches and everyone really loved it. The warm potato salad was so good! We would definitely come back!

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant, the food is amazing, the service phenomenal and there was not a bite left on the plate. Additionally the surroundings are comfortable and conducive to conversation. Will definitely be back!

Oliver Oliver Oliver!!!! Well done. I was looking breakfast near by and glad I found this little gem. As a first timer at new breakfast spots I always like to try the basic breakfast layout because if you miss on that it's likely other items will be a miss. I did a to-go order of grits, crispy bacon, eggs, potatoes, and a biscuit. One tiny con is the grits were a tad bit salty for me but I still tore them up lol great consistency and it would've been perfect if topped with cheese. The bacon was CRISPY not burnt. Some folks don't know how to make bacon crispy without burning it. Chefs kiss. The biscuit was so fluffy and not too moist or dry with a slight brown bottom that had a crunch to it. Perfectly done. The eggs and potatoes were done just right too. The portion sizes were great and the pricing was not outrageous in my opinion. Overall I had a great breakfast and will be returning. Convenient location, acceptable prices, and flavorful food. You won't be disappointed. Might dine in next time as the inside was super cute.
