Old Fashioned Italian Deli

Oh man, old fashioned for sure! You walk in and feel like you are in an Italian restaurant in the 50's or something like that. The Italian beef was great. It normally comes with cheese, but I asked for it without. (I am not a fan of cheese on my Italian Beef's). The beef is literally served in the gravy. The buns soaks up all that goodness. The giardiniera was also very tasty! Maybe even home made. Really good spice to it. So watch out if you don't like spice it also come with grilled green peppers and onions (which I have not had on an Italian beef) but they were a great add. TL:DR this spot is great! Definitely worth stopping by.

This place is legit. I've lived in Colorado for 10 years - moved from NJ. This is by far the best Italian sandwich I've had here. The pasta salad is exactly what you want as a side. Will 100% be back. Love it.

The OG Italian sandwich shop is alive and well. It's unfortunate more places like this don't exist anymore. My Italian sandwich was awesome. It comes loaded with your choice of meats and cheese and dripping with delicious onions and Italian seasonings :) the chips and pickle go perfectly with the sandwich. Can't wait to visit again soon and regret not coming here more often !

What a hostile response to my review. Was that really necessary? I was just making honest comments and still gave you three stars. You correctly addressed every issue like a professional. So I can also change my review once you made me understand how you operate. Did you really need to call me a jerk and tell me to never come back? I took down my review but I am deciding if I should post a FB group with 20k members. I really don't want to hurt this small Mom and Pop. But please David don't be hostile to negative reviews you have plenty of 4 and 5 stars reviews. Best of luck with your business.

My family are from old school, Italian Denver. Not much reminds me of those times anymore but the OFD definitely does. Straightforward, old school Italian deli with fresh breads and meat. And as a side note and a fellow Italian, I absolutely love and am humored by the owner's responses to reviews on here. My kind of people. Fanculo a loro.

Had several sandwiches made for us and we picked them up. They were all delicious and we enjoyed them before a Red Rocks concert.

Good sandwiches - always fresh and well made! Only complaint is that they are not open until 3:30 am as the hours on yelp state. They usually are not open for dinner, but it is a great lunch spot!

Mine and my husband's favorite family owned place to eat! THE BEST sandwiches! I recommend the Marilyn (hot) with hot peppers. So good!

The food was great. I love the atmosphere. I only wish this place was open more than just lunch time and was on my side of town. Will definitely be back
