I really like Okiboru! It is one of my favorite ramen places in Georgiaspecifically the Sandy Springs location. The inside is nicely decorated and the cartoon drawings on the walls add a bit of character to the restaurant. The service was pretty good as well. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and it was delicious! I felt like the broth was not as heavy as other restaurants that I have been to, which was good because ramen can be very filling. I like to add extra garlic (it costs more) to my ramen to make it more flavorful, but it is not needed. I absolutely love the Garlic Nori Fries. I feel like they are seasoned very well and the dipping sauce is delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone in Georgia who wants some yummy food!

Overall: A great option for ramen in the Sandy Springs area. The good: The truffle shoyu was delicious, which has a rich, strong, and flavorful truffle broth. The noodles and pork were both cooked well, and the brussel sprouts appetizer was a great start to the meal. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ordering and checkout experience was a breeze. The not-so-good: The hype is a little too high, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a great meal. Limited amount of seating.Food/drink: 8/10Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 9/10

I've tried both the Buckhead location and this one. While the ramen quality and taste were similar, the Sandy Springs location wins out by having the salmon and yellowtail rice bowls! Those are great combos with the ramen. The noodles have always been cooked to perfection, and the broth have always had perfect blends of taste, smell, and aromatics, no matter if it is their creamier rich broth or clear broth. The chicken karage they add to ramen also has bomb seasoning. One of my all time favs in the area for sure!

E X P E R I E N C E as a Michelin recognized restaurant in new york, we knew we had to come and try it out (in atl) lolwe came as a group of two as a walk in at 215pm on a monday. although the restaurant is small, we were immediately sat and helpedwe got our food by 2:35pm checked out by 2:45pmF O O D *vegan options available *house made noodles made from premium wheat flour *house made brothspicy tonkatsu ramen (100/5): spicy traditional rich pork broth, pork shashu, soft boiled egg, scallions, thin noodles. I don't like skinny noodles bc a lot of times it doesn't soak in the soup flavor. it's cooked al dente. the soup flavor is beautifully simmered with the spice. (it doesn't taste like the spice was an after thought)paitan tsukemen (4/5): dipping ramen, rich chicken and fish broth, soft boiled egg, yuzu zest, scallions, lime, thick noodles. not my fave bc the soup is a little too fishy and slimy for me (i like my soup flavorful but thinner), but my friend loved it. the udon like noodles were al dente and chewy. soup tasted nothing like I've had before S E R V I C E Quick and friendlyP A R K I N G two minute walk but free parking garage one complex over I N T E R I O R9 tables of 4 movable easy to accommodate large groups or single/couples P R I C E 40 incl tax tip

Okay the food was amazing. I think I'm drunk off of the rich broth of the soup. Noodles were perfection I couldn't stop eating it. I picked up the bowl and slurped it to the very end. We had a side order of Karaage. It was sliced very thin and gave the impression of dark meat but it was actually breast. Randy or server was very informed on the making of the noodles. I love coming to a restaurant after rush hour. It was quiet. I'm coming back and I'm eating something different next time. Yummy yummy yummy I got ramen in my tummy.

Okiboru has been on my list ever since hearing about it from friends and since it was recognized by Michelin. It did not disappoint! I usually go for pork tonkotsu ramen, but I was wanting something lighter this time and the Tori Chintan was an excellent option! It looks and feels light, there's plenty of noodles, and the chicken is tender and well fried and seasoned. The only thing I wish is that there more toppings. I'm used to having some mushrooms and other little goodies in my ramen, but here it's pretty simple. The service is excellent here - we were seated to a table that was turned around swiftly but it was clean with no random food bits on the table, seats, or floors. They pre-filled our waters so when we sat down, everyone already had a glass in front of them. Our server was patient, warm, and was more than willing to split the tab out into individual checks for our party of 5. There's free parking in an adjacent garage. Seating is limited due to the small interior - not sure if reservations are allowed but I'd recommend if you know you'll be visiting ahead of time.

Delicious!! We had a party of 4 for dinner on Thursday, 1/18/24, at 7:30 pm. Valet parking, or you might be lucky to find parking in the garage close by, and there's street parking a little further away. The wait for our table only ended up being 10 minutes or so. Casual atmosphere. Athleisure is perfectly acceptable. Randy, the manager, was our waiter, and he was wonderful. He gave us honest recommendations, which we so appreciated. We split 4 appetizers and we each got our own ramen. Definitely didn't need 4 apps, but we couldn't decide and they were all incredible. Here's what I had:- Truffle Garlic Edamame: Super generous portion!- Shoyu Brussels: Crispy and amazing.- Crispy Gyoza: Good!!- Garlic Nori Fries: OMG, perfectly crispy.- Tonkotsu Ramen: Egg was cooked perfectly. Very good.Even with all the apps, the bill ended up being around $24 each, which is super reasonable.I will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!
