I've gone to the Sandy Springs location a few times and was craving for some tsukemen so stopped by the Buckhead location. The quality of food here is just as consistent as the other location and the food was just overall just so good.My friend and I split the fries and ebi karaage and as always they're fried to perfection and come out piping hot. The tsukemen is also solid just like the original location in Sandy Springs. Flavors are very strong and the noodles are cooked perfectly al dente and since it's a dipping ramen, they don't get soggy if you're a slower eater! Ramen egg and chashu also made very well and was delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a ramen restaurant if you're in the area!

I kinda consider myself a retired yelpoholic. I mean, I gave this website 13 HARDCORE years of review writing and photography, as well as spent thousands of hours sending compliments daily to Yelpers both near and far. I was putting in full time hours every week and even yelped while on vacation with the same intensity. I used to get up hours before my family so I could yelp without taking any time away from them. I'm truly tired... so I RE-tired :-)While I thought I would never write another review after the final countdown of 2023, I'm still a hardcore Yelper at heart and simply can't resist sharing a new find worthy of penning a new review. The SPICY TORI PAITAN ramen at Okiboru is indeed a find worthy of writing about. [ THE FOOD ]++ TORI PAITAN RAMEN (4.5 stars) | $15.50 (+ .75 for chili paste on the side)DESCRIPTION: Rich chicken broth, chicken karaage, soft boiled egg, spinach, scallion, thin hakata noodles. Without question this is one of the richest, creamiest and most flavorful ramen chicken broths I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Its flavor lingered on my tongue long after my last bite. The spicy chili paste I asked for on the side somehow took the already amazing flavor of the broth up another level. I don't usually care for spicy foods, but I was extremely pleased with being able to add a few spoonful's to my desired level. The thin Hakata Noodles were masterclass level perfection, and the egg was slightly runny, which made me very happy. It wasn't the best ajitsuke tamago I've ever had, but very good nonetheless. The complaints I have are minor:1) The Chicken Karaage included with the TORI PAITAN is good, but I wish it had been as excellent in flavor as the broth. It might have even been excellent in any other ramen restaurant's broth, but it definitely took a back seat here.2) It would have been nice if there were more toppings included, such as sweet corn or crispy onions.3) While the broth is truly soul satisfying, the overall volume of the bowl is rather small.-----++ EBI KARAAGE (4.5 STARS) | $12.00DESCRIPTION: Panko shrimp, umami mayo, pickled cucumber, chives. Excellent appetizer! The mayo and sweet pickles complimented the fried shrimp extremely well. [ SERVICE / ATMOSPHERE ]I honestly almost got in my car and left because the service was so slow initially. The manager seemed to be doing everything from greeting and taking orders to acting as the ONLY server and clean-up crew. When I first arrived, I could also see her in the kitchen. Including me, there were about 8 other people she was serving as well as bagging phone orders. It was A LOT to handle. But I'm happy I remained patient because she was truly a joy and did everything with a smile. The food arrived quickly after ordering, so that also helped. The restaurant itself is situated in the old Holman & Finch location. There is free parking in the attached garage behind the restaurant. [ FINAL THOUGHTS ]Okiboru's Michelin-Rating should say it all! But if it doesn't, let me just say I simply can't imagine a better or more flavorful chicken broth than the one I had today! I look forward to returning to try some of their other ramen flavors. However, after learning they have a newly opened location near the Mall of Georgia, I'll likely make that my next visit since it is soooo much closer to my home.

Best sushi, I have EVER had. Marilyn MonROLL is a personal fav. Bummer the skyline views were wrecked with the surrounding development, but you don't get a better date night than cocktails and sushi here!

I dine at Okiboru several times a month, not just because it's conveniently located near me, but because the service and food are consistently excellent. The cozy restaurant is always clean, and I'm seated immediately when I arrive, with little wait time for the food. I visited again yesterday with my partner. For our appetizer, we had the Ebi Karaage ($12), which came with four Panko-breaded shrimp served with Umami mayo, pickled cucumber, and chives. While the shrimp was lightly breaded and flavorful, I was hoping for a larger portion given the price. For my main course, I had the Tori Paitan ($15.50), which featured a rich chicken broth and tender chicken karaage; it was delicious! My partner ordered the Wafu Tsukemen ($18), a deconstructed dish served in two bowls: one with a rich chicken and fish broth, and the other with thick noodles, pork, spinach, yuzu peel, chives, and a soft-boiled egg. My partner loved it, as the flavors blended beautifully. However, if you're not a fan of fish, this dish might not be for you.

Ready for some Michelin-recognized ramen? Okiboru is the place for you, because ohmigawd, it's so good. My friends and I were checking out some dinner options (through Yelp, of course) around the area of our AirBnB and it turned out that Okiboru was only a short distance away. Located in the bottom of the Aramore Condominiums building, we arrived, had the car parked by valet (there have been some recent break-ins in the area, so having someone who could look over the car was a bonus), and made our way right inside. It wasn't too crowded, and we were seated quickly. The menu, of course, focuses on ramen and tsukemen (also known as "dipping ramen" - where the broth is served on the side and you dip your ramen noodles and such into it before slurping it down) while also offering some quality small plates. Then there are, of course, the cocktails. There was a refreshing watermelon flavored cocktail special on the night we went.... none of us could help ourselves, so we each ordered one in order to toast our trip. They were quite tasty. We also ordered a couple small plates for the table... okiboru buns (1 order of tofu, 1 order of chicken) and the ebi karage (panko shrimp, umami mayo, pickled cucumber, chives). All delicious. As for the ramen, we each ordered a different flavor - personally, I ordered the truffle shoyu ramen (light chicken broth, truffle oil, chicken, half soft boiled egg, spinach, chive, thin Hakata noodles), which was a bit of a test. Truffle oil can quite easily become overpowering - or taste artificial. Instead, whatever truffle oil they used added a delicate flavor to the balance of the light (but still rich) chicken shoyu broth. Staff are friendly, service is prompt, and the overall ambience is welcoming - almost like it's a posh little hole-in-the-wall. Is that a thing? If not, I'm making it a thing. Would absolutely return if I was ever in the area again.

Menu is via QR code: https://ohbz.com/oo/okiborutsukemenramen-atlanta-gaParking is convenient- parking deck attached to the building. There sometimes will be a Valet there but you can self park.I feel like Okiboru isn't as good as it used to be. This is my first time at this location for Okiboru, but I have tried Prefecture (immediately across). Tried Sandy Springs multiple times before and Duluth.Spicy Paitan Tsukemen used to come with bamboo and a whole egg (rather than half egg). The broth is still solid.Tried the matcha udon. I liked that the noodles were kept on ice to keep it cold, however I couldn't really taste the matcha and it was fairly similar to the tsukemen noodles otherwise. Could have been cooked more too as both noodles were on the harder side. The matcha udon is something that is fairly refreshing if you're in the mood for something cold, though. Ebi karage that comes with it is solid.

First time here and the ramen here is AMAZING!!! It is a rich broth that is not salty, it has so much depth and is so so delicious. The noodles were also perfectly cooked and chewy, with a nice jammy yolk. The chasu pork was tender and bursting with a charred flavor, and really tied the ramen together. We also got the gyoza appetizer which was also perfectly crunchy and piping hot, it was so so good.Service is fast and the people are friendly, food comes out super fresh. The interior is clean and modern, perfect for casual settings and even date nights! For $16-$18 for an amazing bowl of ramen I would highly recommend!!!!!
