I got the pulled pork sandwich and my friend got chicken finger sandwich. We split an order of sweet potato fries which were extremely over price for the portion size. In total with tip we paid $40 dollars. Which is pretty pricey but I guess food truck are usually expensive. The service was good and quick. It was conveniently at the brewery we were at. I think it a bit over price so I wouldn't make my away to go here but in another similar situation as today I guess I would go again. The food was good though but not good enough to justify the price. Especially for the sweet potato that was $7 and not big enough.

Off the Hog can often be seen throughout the Raleigh area. It made its way to apex a little while back and it serves an assortment of bbq sandwiches, plates, and sides. Ordering was fairly efficient, and the employees were incredibly friendly. The pork skin nachos were ok, but the pork skin themselves did not have much taste. The sweet potato fries were decent as well. Overall, a place to stop by, but nothing to go out of your way for.

Food Truck Time: Off the HogI've been late with writing this review, I tried this food truck a few weeks ago. I ordered the pulled pork plate with bourbon baked beans and cole slaw. I was able to try a few bites of the mac & cheese from my moms plate too. The food was okay, I've had better barbecue from other food trucks. It looks like they are newer so I'm hoping to try them again soon.

This was some of the best barbecue that we've ever had, so good that we got a second plate to go. The smoke on the brisket, ribs, and mac & cheese were perfect. Yes, you read that right: they smoke the mac & cheese, which is so tasty that it will hav you asking: why isn't everyone smoking mac & cheese? The meats were tender and delicious. We also enjoyed the baked beans and collard greens. The Off the Hog folks were knowledgeable and funny, a joy to talk to. Their food truck can be found all over the Raleigh Durham area, and we were lucky enough to catch them at Botanist and Barrel, where the barbecue went well with the hard cider. The next time I'm in the area, I plan to stalk this truck so that I can have my barbecue fix.

Was excited to try this truck. They said they would be setup in our apartment complex by 5. We got there roughly 5:10. They weren't setup at all. They told us we had to wait while they setup. Ok, I'm a patient person. So we found a picnic table a few feet from the truck and hung out with our dog. After 20 minutes 2 people walk up and order food. Right in front of us, even though we were the first people there. The truck never told us we could order, never told the new people we were waiting. Nope, just go screw yourself, all these people are now in line in front of you. We left, and they lost 50% of the sales sitting outside the truck at that moment. Based on the other 1 star reviews, steer clear. These people don't want to run a good business.

We enjoyed Off The Hog last night at our neighborhood Halloween party. We had pulled pork plate. The pork was very flavorful and moist. Sides were Mac and Cheese and fries. Everything was delicious and my 9 year old woke up asking if we had some left.

I had to take the time to write this, not to be a jerk, but to legitimately warn others. I paid 11.99 for a brisket sandwich, and received 4 thin slices of brisket, my guess is approximately 4 oz total, likely 3. with what looked/tasted to be a grocery store quality bun and cole slaw that had barely been chopped - huge chunks of cabbage. I mean, weirdly, large, chunks. While the whole thing did get me some pity at the table, needless to say I was starving afterwards. food trucks are very hit or miss. this was the biggest miss so far. I suppose I forgot to mention how the brisket was. It was very average? not a lot of smoke, or interesting flavor, but Id be *ok* with it if there were enough to feed even a very small person - for 11.99.

Leslie and his team did a great job catering our wedding. It was an outdoor wedding hosted out our house, and it called for rain that day. He showed up in person 5 hours before he was supposed to be there to confirm everything was still going as planned and wished us luck. He even provided his own canopy to cover the ordering window. Very professional, and the food was delicious!

Very disappointing experience there tonight. Ordered and was told 8-10 minutes wait. Waited 25 minutes only to find out that the food had apparently come out at some point and was getting cold on the other side of the truck. They claimed to have called my name - I was about six feet from the order window, so if they did then they really need to work on making themselves heard, not to mention that the person who took my order had looked over at me several times and clearly saw that I was still waiting - and were very rude about it when handing over the food.As for the food - the ribs were decent. Brisket was a little rough. Good variety of sauces, and I thought the mac and cheese was good. Overall customer experience was super frustrating though, and at that point I was ready to just be done with dinner.

Meh. Ribs were fine (not great but not bad) but pork was pretty flavorless on it's own. I got sauce to go with the pork and I got one side condiment container that was only half full. Some sides are obviously bought frozen (poppers and apple pie). Totally not worth the prices. Also they don't wear masks. Yes it is their business and can manage how they want but when you order online and go to pick it up after spending $50 it's frustrating that they aren't taking what is now expected safety protocols.
