It pairs really well with the various proteins and tofu.I definitely recommend loading up on the sliced beef, enoki, and the mochi tofu cakes! Soooo good. The veggies here were fresh and staff were frequently refilling ingredients too. It gets pretty busy around 6:30 PM, especially for takeout orders. This is a fun and customizable experience that I would recommend to anyone."

Diana N. "This spot has been popping up on my social media for awhile now but only decided to go spontaneously with my bf today 1 hour before closing and honestly no regrets! They put a lot of detail and care to ensure you have a wonderful experience. Right when you walk in, the walls are decorated with a floral, jungle leaves and references to anime culture. I'm not sure if they cycle out certain themes every now and then, but everything was themed Pokemon this time around--from their menu to the employee outfits (Ash from Pokemon). They even had really fun plates and their chopstick covers were branded with a kantana sword. The menu is a lot of fun with colorful branding and dishes inspired by their current Theme (Pokemon), but they also had other anime /Japan pop culture references like the Sailor Moon shot flight and the Power ranger cocktail. I was really excited to try out their food, and couldn't wait to dive in. To my surprise, a Pikachu mascot came out to greet us and the other guests, and it was so cute. It really felt like I was in Japan again, at a themed cafe. Experience and branding is 10/10.I really thought this was one of those places where they focus so much on the decor that the food is lackluster, but this was exactly the opposite! The food tasted great! I got the black garlic ramen, and the broth was so flavorful! While the price tag is a bit on the pricer side, I totally get it considering how much they put into the entire experience and the flavor was there too! The customer experience was great too, they were approachable and friendly. It was too early for cocktails so I asked for a cocktail because I really wanted the themed pokemon drinks. Unfortunately I couldn't get a mocktail, and opted for an in-house spritzer. Our server was kind enough to add the Pokemon themed cards to our drinks! I'm sure if you ask, they will make your experience amazing (: I highly recommend anyone who loves Japanese pop culture/anime to visit this spot, whether it's just for some fun cocktails or a meal, you'll find something tasty!"

Brittany B. "This restaurant doesn't just serve food--it serves full-blown, toe-curling pleasure on a plate. The hand-pulled sesame noodles? Thick, chewy, and dripping in a nutty, velvety sauce that glides over your tongue like a well-practiced lover. One bite, and suddenly, you're making noises usually reserved for the bedroom. Then comes the Shandong chicken, golden and crispy on the outside, juicy and tender underneath, with a sauce so tangy and addictive it should come with a safe word. And let's talk about the Mongolian beef--caramelized, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth tender. It doesn't just satisfy--it ruins you for all other beef. Every bite is a tease, every dish leaves you wanting more, and by the end, you're slumped in your seat, breathless, disheveled, and deeply, deeply satisfied. If food could give aftercare, this place would tuck you in and whisper, "Was it good for you too?""

The food comes out really quick and uggghhhh soo good! The kung pao was the perfect mix of spicy and crunchy, the sticky ribs were tender and flavorful, the pan fried dumplings were the best I've ever had and the chow mein was perfectly greasy and chewy without being mushy. The staff isn't very friendly but they are prompt with service and more than helpful with menu questions. I thought it was just a dumpling spot but was pleasantly surprised to see all the menu items. Jessica G. "A great option for pho in the area! I've ordered from Pho Seven on door dash and in person a few times and have enjoyed it every time. The soups are always so fresh and flavorful. Most recently, I ordered their garlic noodles with grilled chicken and it was delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked and there was a generous portion of chicken that went with it. It does feel like its on the greasier end and I wouldn't mind a little more garlic on the noodles, but that's just my personal preference. I also always order their fresh coconut juice and it's great every time. Whether order in the restaurant or online, the food is prepared pretty quickly so you never have to wait a very long time. There is plenty of parking here in the plaza but just a heads up - it's a tight fit right in front of the restaurant! It's two lane traffic, but to be honest, it's probably a better fit for just one way. We usually park at the end of the plaza by the laundromat/chinese restaurant and just walk down the sidewalk to avoid the crazy parking right up front."

We ordered the Takoyaki which was actually quite good. Two different Yunnan noodle broths Hot and Sour Pickled Peppers broth and the pork bone broth. Each of the noodle orders come with a bunch tiny toppings. IMHO everything could have been dumped into the hot broth and served. We ordered a thai iced tea, bahn mi with marinated pork and the pork combo vermicelli. I haven't had a noodle bowl before as I typically order pho so the server explained that you pour the sauce all over and mix it up. It was so good! I had a bite of my partners bahn mi, and it was even more flavorful than my bowl. The stir-fried black bean noodle (jaengban-jjajang) is also a great option if you're looking to share with 2-3 others.Their fried pork with sweet & sour sauce (tangsuyuk) is also a crowd favorite. Sheng jian bao - not the best I've had, but it was done well! There was a lot of soup inside and it didn't seep into the buns. 3. Chive pockets - the menu said it had shrimp but couldn't taste or see any. Taste wise, pretty average and could have been a bit crispier.4. Beef rolls - not enough beef, too much lettuce and cilantro. They also put a lot of sauce, and it was too salty for my taste. The staff, the store manager, Thomas, the food, the relaxing atmosphere, and the service (Mia, our waitress) all exceeded our expectations. The manager went above and beyond to ensure we were completely satisfied. He personally greeted us at the door, set aside a few dishes to make sure they wouldn't run out before we arrived, and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay there. Even when we couldn't say goodbye in person, he took the time to reach out and make sure we felt appreciated, welcomed, and was looking forward to seeing us again. It's clear that Thomas is not only kind and caring but also deeply passionate about his work and the happiness of his guests. The entire team at this restaurant radiates warmth and enthusiasm (with a manager like Thomas, it is easy to see why)--it's obvious they genuinely enjoy their work and have great camaraderie. We came hungry and ready to feast, ordering an impressive spread: chicken chow mein, honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper chicken, lamb stew, General Tso's chicken, snowflake dumplings with mushroom chicken and green onions, wok-fried green beans, steamed soup dumplings, and shrimp fried rice. Basically, we took "ordering a little bit of everything" to a whole new level. Now, let's talk about the seating situation. The restaurant tried to squeeze us into a table so small that balancing all our plates would've been an Olympic sport. After some negotiations (aka, our waitress realizing that stacking plates like a Jenga tower wasn't an option), they moved us to the larger table we had originally requested--victory!But on to the best part: the FOOD. Everything was chef's kiss--seasoned to perfection, cooked with care, and absolutely delicious. While every dish brought something special, the standout stars were the General Tso's chicken, the wok-fried green beans (seriously, who knew green beans could be this good?!), the snowflake dumplings (pure magic), and the chicken chow mein, which disappeared faster than we could say "pass the chopsticks."Despite the minor seating hiccup and a waitress who seemed less than thrilled about our enthusiastic ordering, the service was solid, and the food more than made up for it. Would we return? Absolutely. Next time, though, we're claiming the right-sized table from the start--because when the food is this good, it deserves to be enjoyed with plenty of elbow room."

On a Sunday, I pre-ordered using the SAGA app: -House Tonkotsu, ramen bowl-Chicken Karaage-Pan Fried Pork GyozaHouse Tonkotsu, Grade (5/5), delicious ramen soup with lots of noodles! Served in a pork broth, topped with pork belly chashu (slices), green onions, mushrooms, and soft boiled eggs. The menu says it's a little spicy, but I didn't really taste it. This dish has lots of fresh noodles! And the pork broth blends well with the other ingredients to create a great meal. The takeout container is a little hard to open. The broth is in the bottom section, and the ingredients are in the top section. The ramen travels better when the broth is separate, and you mix it at home. Chicken Karaage, Grade (5/5), Japanese Fried Chicken, 7-8 small pieces of chicken. They were juicy on the inside and the crispy on the outside. Pan Fried Pork Gyoza, Grade (4/5). Japanese Pork Potstickers. Juicy and tasty filling, and lightly crispy skin. My problem is, when you're used to Chinese potstickers, it's not quite the same. Gyoza are smaller dumplings, and have less filling. So in general the Slurp Shop menu items I ordered were good. I used the SAGA app to order, used the 20% Discount, left a tip, and picked up my order myself. Had a nice chat with Gilbert about the new menu, and he answered all my questions.
