Coming on a Wednesday night for date night and we didn't need a reservation. Being from Southern California this is very decent California Mexican food (not traditional Mexican food). Love the theme of the restaurant - very beachy and reminds me of home!! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, we were seating almost immediately. Our server was on top of it! Bringing out our drinks and food very quickly! It all tasted quick good and had delicious flavor. I did take off one star because of the the strange fees along with the lack of chips and salsa. That is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant.Overall I would come back! 4/5 stars

Fabulous spot for brunch! Great menu items (brunch & regular menu) including the elote corn, queso birria tacos, chilaquiles and more.Love the mimosa bottle option too!The service was really great, very attentive staff. The patio is delightful - We sat in the "almost" patio section that was covered but was still bright & sunny.

The highlight of my meal was actually the margarita I ordered that they shake at the table... everything else was just meh. My husband and I ordered chips and guacamole to share and each got a few tacos. The guacamole was very simple and not really worth the cost... it was missing something! I tried a red snapper taco and a birria taco. Both were fine but once again missing something! Maybe some salt would have done the trick for everything! There's too many good taco spots around to come back here; especially since the service was lackluster as well!

The quesabirria tacos are the best we have had! The chicken tinga were also noteworthy. Chips with salsa and guacamole are $10, which may be an area norm. It they were good. Grab a table on the patio and check out the brunch specials and pitchers of drinks. There was a $20 margarita pitcher special that looked good.

Amazing food, amazing service, but... AGAIN a Denver restaurant requiring an absurd "service fee" for back of house of 6% with no signage. Sorry, but it's silly. I'm not ok with 1-2%, but I let that go. 6% is coming out of your servers' tips (now doing 14%) because you chose to not pay your employees more and assume the customer will cover. If you want to require a 20%, or a 6% fee, put a notice up so consumers can decide. Your neighbors Lowry beer garden include 20%, but at least they let customers know. Will come back, but will continue to "tip" 14%.

This place used to be good. Service is terrible. The chips were so old and greasy. Margarita was undrinkable. We won't be going back.

Cute local taco place in Lowry! The service is really something to be desired here though. Also, no chips and salsa, only during happy hour, according to our server? Good food, nice drinks, spotty experience and service.

Another Denver restaurant throwing in unnecessary fees and deceptive menu pricing. This has been added to their menu: "Rather than raise menu prices, we add a 6% kitchen fee to your check. This fee is then distributed to our hardworking culinary staff who do not participate in gratuities. As always, we are grateful for your patronage and generosity."Just put honest prices on the menu so people know what they are paying for, and take off the stupid fees at the end. Nobody's going to not come to a restaurant because the chilaquiles are $12.72 instead of $12.

We got there just at Happy Hour around 3pm on a Sunday so was nice to see we could save a few dollars on the items on the regular menu I like anyway. I was excited to try oysters but they were not as good as I have had them before and the Elote I got was Burt on one side which they covered with the sauce. So unfortunately got to knock a couple of Stars offThe California burrito was actually really good so I do recommend that and the margarita with the shaker was a nice touch. I also ordered the shrimp taco but was so over loaded that it was hard to eat with your hands as everything kept falling off so I had to use a knife and fork to get things in one bite. All in all a good place but not itching to come back

I've been to North County now twice. Once for brunch and once for dinner and I'm glad we came back. I'm not much of a brunch person, but dinner count me in. We started off getting the Small Macho Nachos with no protein. Score for us because it was happy hour and we saved a few bucks. I should have ordered a margarita because they looked really good on a warm night, but ended up with a soda. I forgot to take photos of our dinner, but I got the California Burrito that had french fries in it. Never thought to put French fries in, but glad they did. I would say the burritos are at least the same size of Chipotles maybe even bigger. The dining room is very nice, but I recommend their patio if you enjoy the fresh air. Service was great. Our waiter spaced out our appetizer, so our dinner wouldn't be on top of each other.
