It's drive thru or eat in the parking lot. I can accept that "ambiance" but the food is terrible. Burnt. Dry. Tough. Not even good jerky. There have been good restaurants in this location but they could not make it. I predict "This place for rent".

We had a fantastic lunch at Ni Armor, I've been wanting to try this place for a long time since it's on our way to Greensboro. The three plate with whatever you want is the way to go to try everything.Portions are massive and everything is great with the shrimp being my favorite and the Mac salad is out of this world. The staff was super friendly and I can't wait to go back, I would eat here almost the time it I lived closer.Keep in mind it's walk up drive through but they do have outdoor tables and a restroom around the corner!

Was in town and decided to try Hawaiian bbq for the first time. You order at the window and they'll either bring it to your car or you can sit at one of the outdoor tables. There's no shade, no umbrellas, but hope they add that. Right now there's no indoor seating and don't know if that'll change. They share the property with a car wash. The staff is friendly and my food came up quickly. I ordered the bbq pork w/ veggies and macaroni salad. The pork filled half of the container and was covered with veggies spilling over until the other half of the plate. It came with two different sauces, bbq and Polynesian. I liked the bbq sauce best. I barely made a dent there was so much food so brought the rest home for leftovers. I'll definitely return and try more of the menu.

Food is amazingService is superbAmbiance is so and soI love the Hawaiian bbq chicken and the delicious short ribs. It's located on the same structure with an auto wash station. I would give it a 5 star if it had more separation with the auto car wash. Traffic may get busy in that intersection across from the gas station. But overall it's worth the wait. The weather couldn't be any better. I recommend

This small little restaurant occupies part of a car wash building on the corner of 87 & West Street, so it's all takeout or sitting at the few outside tables. They staff is friendly and the service speedy. I have seen lines though sometimes when driving by.I went by after work and meat was still nice and warm when I arrived home 20 minutes later. I ordered a one meat plate that comes with two sides and two sauces. Unfortunately they were out of the sweet and spicy sauce, but that's OK the original barbecue and the Polynesian sauce were both good if on the sweet side. The sides I ordered were the brown rice and the veggies. The Polynesian sauce goes well with the brown rice and the mix of veggies is nice and crispy. But the star of the plate was the Kahlúa pulled pork. It's very good on its own and doesn't need a sauce. In my opinion, it's the best pulled pork in Pittsboro! This location has been the site of several eateries that did not last. But I'm telling you Ni Armor is not going out of business, especially if the rest of the food is this good. I will be back to try out more of their selections.

Hawaiians use the work "Ono" for delicious and they don't through it around lightly! This food was "Super Ono"! I felt like I was back on Oahu (lived there 9 years.) The plate lunch 3 meat was so amazing! Had BBQ chicken, Kalua Pork and Kalbi Ribs. Mac salad and rice too! If you have never had this type food, you are missing out! Try it and you will be hooked like a Marlin off of Grander Alley on the Big Island ! Owners were very nice and care about what they do. Drive up and go. Hope you live close, if not, pull over so you don't wreck your car, cause you are going to be digging in quick!

We drove a while just to eat here based on recommendations but I'd say it was a 5/10 experience. They were out of all drinks, including tea and out of the macadamian cookies. The Mac was not true island Mac, wrong mayo used, the short ribs were ok and the chicken was meh. The meatballs were to die for. I'd actually go there just for the meatballs but everything else was subpar.

I got the aloha burger. It came with fries and a drink for $12! This thing is ginormous! It was literally two meals. My husband got the bbq chicken and he said it was amazing also! They also offer a regular cheese burger combo for $8. Why would anyone go to McDonald's when this is in town? So so good!! Service was also great! I love family businesses. We will definitely enjoy the seating once the weather cools down a little. I know my teenagers will dog the massive servings. We will continue to eat here.

I just had the best dinner tonight! I looked on Yelp for a local restaurant in Pittsboro and found Ni Armor's Hawaiian and Polynesian BBQI had the Solo's BBQ Plate which had Kalua pork, BBQ chicken, beef short ribs with rice & Mac.It was so delicious that I never wasted my time putting either sauce on it ( Original BBQ & Kaylene's Polynesian). If you want a great meal with plenty of food, you better stop by.

Since my wife (born in Oahu) and I moved here from the West Coast, we've been trying to find classic Hawaiian food. One would think it would be great here in NC, with all the excellent cows and pigs available, but no, it's been non-existent or almost inedible dry meat and tasteless rice. I think we finally found a good one! A tiny place that squished itself into one part of a car wash, with minimal outdoor seating (without any theme to it), with a drive thru. We walked up to the drive thru window not knowing any better and met the owner Kaylee. She came from Hawaii, moved here a few years ago. She was very friendly and excited to meet another former Hawaiian. She recommended what to order and we drove home to eat it.Yum! This is actual Hawaiian food, though with delicious non-typical meatballs, and missing fried eggs, loco moco, taro or the salmon side dish. The stand out dish was the BBQ Hooli Chicken. Moist, not too sweet or salty. Nailed it. The ribs are good, as is the Mac & Cheese. You do have to purchase rice or make it a side, unlike many places that give you mounds of it by default. We totally recommend you drive down to Pittsboro for your Hawaiian cravings.
