TOMO Tea House

My go-to order and recommendations: strawberry matcha and Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. The strawberry matcha is a MUST TRY and is on the creamier side if you like that. Dubai chocolate covered strawberries are overpriced everywhere but TOMO was the closest location that I found to have it. It's around $15 and I've gotten it twice and both times they do fill you up on it. It's not consistent bc the second time I got it, it wasn't evenly layered but each time I was able to add my own strawberries so they don't skimp. Service was lwk non-existent bc I always order thru the self-serve kiosk so no complaints there. They call your name/number and that's about it.Decor is very aesthetic so it's perfect to take photos. There's a play area for kids so it can get a bit rowdy sometimes. I've yet to try the mochi donuts and hope to try them on my next visit!

It's my first time visiting since the take over from TOMO Tea House (previously Bober Tea). The ambiance and inside is still very pink, pretty and shiny. It didn't seem as clean or busy on a Wed after work hours which was interesting. ***They still have the Tuesday deal where if you buy a drink then you get a mochi donut for $1!!Honeydew Jasmine Milk Tea 3.5/5I love tea flavor! However, I ordered 50% sweetness and less ice thinking that honeydew powder is normally super sweet. I got a lot of ice and less drink sadly :( I've only ever had honeydew milk tea, not honeydew "jasmine" milk tea, if that even makes a difference. However, when I got the drink after 15min with only 2 smaller orders ahead of me, I barely got a hint of honeydew and it was mostly jasmine flavor. It wasn't I was expecting at all therefore the lower score.The customer service was just a single cashier also doing the drinks and cleaning up a kids vomit in the play area. Maybe I happen to come at the wrong time but he was still nice. He gave me a double stamp card for the long wait which was nice.

Dropped by TOMO Tea House after dinner! Very helpful and kind staff & we got our 6 drinks out fairly quickly. They took the time to explain the drinks to us if we had any questions!I ordered a jasmine milk tea--very creamy and sweet! I think TOMO tea caters towards a sweet tooth so if you like sweet things I highly recommend. Otherwise, the interior was quite cute and pink & also had a little indoor playground for kids! I thought it was a super cute touch.

Quality/Quantity - Drinks were good. Actually my daughter said this might be her new favorite tea place on the island!We also got 2 mochi donuts which I can skip in the future.Matcha Oreo and Lemon flavored. The lemon was the better one of the two. I barely could taste the matcha.In summary, come for the tea.Atmosphere - Small local business.Cool decor, a kids play area.Too bad my daughter did not take any pics.Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm.Plenty of mall parking. Service - Okay. They supported/followed store policy of no cash unless it is exact change. And did not let my daughter get away with 20 cents. This is good and bad.Price - $20.20.NO cash, cards only. Well except if you have exact change.My daughter was short twenty cents... Luckily the customer behind her gave her twenty cents. Thank you to the customer behind her. My daughter gave her the two hole punch card.Owner Comment - Congrats on your success (Tomo) since September of 2024 and your previous success (or not) with Bober since April of 2023.

If you're a fan of strong & sweet coffee I'd definitely recommend their egg coffee! The egg foam was THICK, probably one of the thickest egg foams I've had in the Bay Area. The Vietnamese coffee itself was also really strong, I was definitely wired after drinking this. It didn't leave a bitter after taste at all! They also have a really adorable soft play area for children! This is the perfect spot for play dates :)

We visited Tomo Tea house(formerly named Bober and they still have a similar menu even with the new name change)on a Wednesday evening around 4:30PM. There was plenty of parking, and when we initially walked in, this place was empty. A few minutes later, a couple walked in, and a family with lots of kids. This place has adequate seating and a play area for kids 10 and under. It can get really loud with the kids playing in an enclosed store, but nonetheless really cute that this shop set up this area. We bought that the drinks and good were priced a bit higher than other places, and everything would cost extra. No ice would cost an extra $0.80, which we wanted just no ice and less drink instead, but they said they didn't do that there? Also, it seems a lot of their tea blends are already made with dairy milk, so if you're lactose intolerant, you can't switch out the milk like other boba shops. Toppings are an extra $0.85. So, it can add up quick. We specifically chose this place over Yifang(which we love) because of the seating. My friend and I have started doing craft nights, so meeting up to grab boba, bring some little crafts to do and yap has been fun. To the employees credit, they stayed open until said time and didn't seem bothered that we sat there crafting away. We ordered:[Brown sugar matcha milk tea with egg pudding. 25% sweetness, less ice]3/5 super super sweet, at 25% sweetness. I'm not sure how people can drink anything above 25% sweetness at this store? Matcha was average and pudding was average. Wouldn't order again as 25% sweet already hurts my teeth![Jasmine milk tea with boba. 25% sweetness, less ice]3/5 My friend ordered this and said it was average.[Strawberry croffle]3/5 Small! Tasty when eaten fresh, but gets soggy quickly. Overall, we thought this place was good, but their drinks and food aren't as they are listed. This was by far the sweetest 25% brown sugar matcha latter ever!

I saw that they were running a holiday promo, where any order of a flight came with a free croffle. Given that I never had a croffle prior to this, I had to go and try it. Especially since I didn't realize there was a boba shop in this area. Plus, flights are a nice way to try multiple drinks at once and see if the boba shop is any good!We ordered the strawberry green tea, wintermelon milk tea, mango cloud, and vietnamese coffee, which came with an original croffle. My favorite drink was the wintermelon milk tea, which was actually my first time trying it. The flavor is so unique and really came through strongly. Mango cloud was probably my next favorite. I'm not usually a fan of coconut water but it tasted pretty good when mixed with the mango cream. The vietnamese coffee was super strong and had a good caffeine kick. The strawberry green tea was pretty average, though it came with actual strawberry bits (hard to drink though!). The croffle was made to order and was delicious, even plain. It comes with a side of syrup but you can add on toppings if you want. I love that it had the flakiness you expect with croissant layers. I would definitely get it again. The store is really clean and aesthetically pleasing, with a play area as well. They have a lot of other drinks and even mochi donuts. I'll have to come back to try the matcha cloud and banana cream mochi donut!

Very cute boba shop, a rebrand from Bober tea. I believe drinks and everything is the same, just a new name. I ordered the Strawberry Cloud less sweet, less sugery boba, etc, and it was still way too sweet. The liquid is kind of thick and tastes artificial. I'm not a fan.

In the plaza with luckys ..so it's plenty of parking.. I wanted to grab a Vietnamese ice coffee..i came in on New Year's Eve for some extra fuel.. u have the option of ordering at the kiosk on the wall or at the counter.. I stood at the counter for a few minutes no one came so I went to the wall kiosk to order.. it only took about 5 mins later my order came out.. I didn't get a pice but the cup was so cute .. the coffee was ok I'd give it a 5 out if 10 loved the crush ice and the foam.. I wanna come back to try a donut and a different drink.. they have plenty of good photo opportunities. This place would be perfect to meet with with a few of my friends who have small children since they have that play area. It looked very well kept and clean.. can't wait to come back

Love this place! The drinks are amazing, the vibe is super chill, and the decor is beautiful. Plus, they have a play area for the kids, which is a huge win. Definitely coming back!
