I ordered the chicken kofta kabob to go and I really enjoyed it! The kabob was very moist and cooked great. Honestly, it's hard to find a place with good chicken kabob's. I also thought the hummus was very nice. Although I did order to go, there isn't much seating inside the restaurant and it seems that most of it is closed off for banquets. There's also a really strong smell in the restaurant itself that could be potentially off putting. But honestly the food was good.

I had never tried Persian food before, but Sophie's Restaurant was the perfect introduction to a new culture. I believe it's a family owned spot, and the staff is incredibly warm and friendly. The chicken kabobs are a standout moist, flavorful, and perfectly marinated. Occasionally, the chicken can be a bit dry, but it's still delicious. The chicken biryani is packed with flavor, and the beef gyro is also worth trying. Their hummus is absolutely amazing, but my personal favorite has to be the spaghetti!I highly recommend this place to everyone in the neighborhood. It's a gem!

I have been to Sophie's Grill since I was in middle school and I am extremely disappointed with the service. We ordered a combo plate and a fettuccini alfredo with two drinks & it came out to be $61. The prices were not listed for the combo plate being a whole $34. We asked if they could refund the order because it was clear they had not finished working on the combo plate yet. They did not want to refund us. One worker was saying there was a chance for a refund & the other cutting off saying we can't. He simply did not want to give us back our money. If he had wanted to he could've just given it in cash. $34 is ridiculous amount to pay for a plate. I could get korean bbq all you can eat with that price. Seeing as they had no business and were about to close 40 minutes early before we came in, there is a clear reason why. Now, I would not go here ever again. Also saw a review where the business owner said he could process refunds through his own system. So it further proved they just did not want to give us a refund.

This place is located in a little shopping area with ample parking surrounding it. The inside for dine-in is small and limited. There's a larger dining room, but it's reserved for if someone is hosting a party or banquet so no one is allowed to sit there. The staff was friendly when ordering food, and brought the food to the table once it was ready. You order at the counter first, then seat yourself. The man who took my order said I was the 4th or 5th person in a row to order the Falafel Wrap- so i'd say this item is quite popular! I enjoyed every bit of it! We also ordered a chicken pita wrap and hummus with pita. Drinks you have to pay for, to include water, since there is no drink machine. The food was delicious, however for the ambience and minimal dine-in seating I felt the prices were kind of high. With tip, it was almost $50 for what is pictured of what we ordered. For that price, I personally prefer to eat at a place with ambience and more comfortable indoor seating.

My boyfriend, sister and I were craving some Mediterranean food and found Sophie's on Yelp! It's a small restaurant located in Evergreen Village. They have a section that they rent out for banquets. We opted for eating in. We got the chicken gyro plate, chicken gyro wrap and the lemon beef wrap. The chicken was seasoned very well, but it was SO dry... I wish they also put more of the sauce in each of the dishes. They weren't very generous with the meat in the dishes either. As for the service, the man in the front was very kind. I would recommend trying this place out! Don't think it would be my go-to place but if I'm craving Mediterranean and I'm around the area, I would stop by!

Great place for a vegetarian like me. I visited 3 times in last 8 years.1. I recollect, one time I was sitting outside the Mediterranean Grill, enjoying my meal and also having a glimpse of local people.2. Second time I ate inside; the environment was very comfortable and with families with small children. I just love such hum-drum environment.3. They served vegetarian meals, and my taste buds still eager for those meals.4. Kindly, forgive me readers, I cannot comment currently as I eat foods cooked at home, most of the time, especially for last 2-3 years.Summary: Good people, good environment and good food. Blessings.[Entered 18 Sept. 2024, based on 3 visits of past years.]

Regular rice masquerading as saffron! Glad to see another food option in this Evergreen plaza. The food was pretty good! It was funny as the man at the host stand got a personal call when we walked in for pickup, he told his caller that he had customers waiting, but proceeded to stay on the phone. Thankfully another employee came out to help us from the back. Lamb and Beef Gyro: Pretty flavorful and the sauce was a nice touch! The salad balanced things out, but the small piece of pita was somewhat stale and the hummus wasn't my favorite. Chicken Kabob: Delicious, just what you'd expect from any chicken breast kebab. Falafel: Decent, but had a harder crust than most falafels. Also misleading as the item is labeled "Falafel Balls" plural, but each order is just 1 falafel for $1.99, price is fine but wording is weird. White sauce was good tho! Sophie's has a nice dining room that was empty during lunch hour on a weekend.

Horrible experience here today. Super rude manager/owner (the older man there). I ordered a falafel salad and falafel pita. The salad was close to $15 and what I was given was shredded lettuce, shredded carrots and 3 falafel balls cut in half to make it look like 6. No cucumbers or tomatoes as advertised. I literally felt cheated eating this mound of lettuce. No sauces given. Theres an extra charge for hot sauce too-which Mediterranean place does not offer hot sauce? My friend who had ordered a kebab plate was also denied any sauces. The falafels were mushy and not cooked well. I am try surprised at the restaurants rating but I guess it does good with catering orders or meat dishes. The value was just not there. I am actually quite outraged at what I was served today:(.Won't return and won't recommend to anyone.

3.5 STARSDate: Wednesday, March 29th, 2023Time: Ordered around 1:45pm, Picked up around 2:15pmHow: via Restaurant's websiteMeal: Lunch*Kabob Meat Only: Skewers of Meat - Chicken Kabob Skewer (+$7.89), Lamb Kabob Skewer (+$8.99)*Hummus: Comes with Pita Bread ($6.39)*Sophie's Tzaztziki: Cucumber Yogurt Dip with Pita ($6.39)The hubby's brother was grabbing food and asked me if I wanted anything. My answer? Always yes! Feed me! Funny enough, he and the hubby don't really like Mediterranean, so I often don't get the chance to eat it. (I believe he ordered their Fettuccine Alfredo. Lol!) So I was looking forward to satisfying my random hummus cravings. The skewers didn't come on skewers, but they had a nice smokiness. Tho I did find the meat a little dry. Thanks goodness for my two sides. The tzatziki provided a nice freshness. I did find the hummus a little bland, but nothing some salt or hot sauce couldn't fix.Good option for Mediterranean in the Evergreen area.Note: My pix are from a meal I had back in 2020. I didn't take any pictures this time around. There is an added Beef Kabob Skewer.

My go to Mediterranean restaurant. Falafel in pita bread is very good. Baba ganoush is also very tasty.
