"We met up with some friends here at Mission City Grill to have brunch and catchup on their recent vacation, holiday, etc.It has been a while since we last came here, so it was nice to revisit. The service was nice and friendly as soon as you walked in the door. Our server was good too. She was friendly, patient, and attentive! The decor reminds me of an Italian restaurant. It's not. Good old American cuisine. LOL. Breakfast served all day, Burgers, Sandwiches, and Entrees. Separate Restrooms for Men & Women's with multiple stalls. The Classics: Two cage free eggs, hashbrowns & toast or pancakes. Substitute French Toast or waffle ($2).*Hash & Eggs: Old Fashion Corned Beef Hash. It was from a CAN and griddled. It was a good breakfast. I really enjoyed the Swedish Pancakes with lingonberry butter! So good! I shouldn't be surprised since they are connected with Holder's.My wife and friend split theOmlettes & Scrambles: Choice of omlette souffle or diced scramble with Hash browns. Choice of toast or pancakes. Substitute French Toast ($2).*Supreme Scramble: linguica, sausage, bacon, ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, jack & white cheddar cheese, Spanish sauce (4/5). They ordered the diced scramble and added a waffle. They enjoyed the scramble a lot. They had them put the sauce of the side. The waffle was light, yet crispy. Our other friend enjoyed his Fire Guacamole Burger: Angus chuck beef patty, guacamole, crispy onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, pepper jack cheese, special sauce, artisan bun, fried jalapeño.Come check them out!"

They had a DJ to my surprise and really gave the place a good vibe. We got lucky and were seated in a booth right as we walked in. They have ample parking, but also have street parking available. I got a Moscow mule which was good and some Cajun fries. The Cajun fries had a kick to them if dipped in the chipotle mayo. The service was great with the team checking in every 10 mins to see if we need another drink or food item. I would highly recommend you check it out.Just wanted to add that I went and they had the Formula 1 Australian GP Practice 2 playing so I think they play the Formula 1 GP's here. "I can't get enough of this place bc of the food & the owner, Nathan who has a true passion of serving great food.I always come for the Jerk Chicken, consistently moist & infused with herbs. The next dish was Coxinha(not pictured)which is a popular Brazilian street food & I can see why. The light & crispy croquette filled with chicken meat was perfectly fried & had enough moistness inside that one can only beg for more. Although 3 Coxinha's come on the plate, don't be deceived at how filling it can make you. What I also appreciate is the generous amount of salad that is included, with only the freshest of ingredients. The last dish we ordered was the Creamy Lemon Seafood Risotto. Cheryl M. "Visited Ceron with 3 friends for Saturday brunch. Place opens at 10am and was empty...it's unfortunate as the interior is beautiful and aesthetically gorgeous (Modern Mission style) from the former business (Otaez Mexican Restaurant). *sigh* The vibe almost transports you to dining in the City without going across the bridge and circling for parking. The menu is creative and interesting so plenty of items to try. Options for brunch: eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, simple breakfast with coffee cake and sandwiches. I opted for the French dip sandwich which was presented well and enjoyed the accompanying potato salad. Though good I probably wouldn't order again and try a seafood dish .Friends enjoyed their dishes and what really finished off the meal was the chocolate silk dessert. Light chocolate mousse with a chocolate-crust with varying textures of chocolate gelato, candied hazelnut and chocolate tuile. Our server/host was the Owner/Executive Chef Juan Jaquez - very welcoming, engaging, and mentioned he formerly was head chef at Paradiso, San Leandro for 15 years....i knew the food was different after the pandemic and time he left to open Ceron! I really enjoyed the food when he was there and will have to return to Ceron to try their dinner service. Service was efficient and attentive even after more people arrived.Place is a great venue for a special occasion and meet up with friends. I'd definitely return to try some of their appetizers and eyeing the Berkshire Pork chop. Everything looks delicious albeit pricing on the higher side with like spots. Nevertheless, I'll give it a try if Juan is in charge of dinner service! :) Parking lot in back with metered street parking. My friend spoke highly of the options and affordable cost, so on a breakfast whim I chose to take my cousin and me here. The restaurant is unassuming inside and outside--open seating for small and larger groups plus tables outdoors. For breakfast and lunch it's counter service. Order and pay and your items are brought to you while water is self-serve. The vibes are quite casual and neighborhood-like like with service being friendly and efficient. For brunch, I got the Organic Tofu Scramble. The dish came with toast, home fries, and their trio of sauces. Portions were nicely sized for the price. I felt that the tofu scramble could've been seasoned more and some parts of the dish tasted a bit flat, so that's when the sauces did the saving. My cousin had the Country Omelet and said it hit the spot. For those in Berkeley looking for a no-frills neighborhood spot, Lama Beans Cafe is adorable and has decent food. John D. "Dark SideThe brainchild of local restaurateur Darren Matte, who's other projects include Danville Harvest and SF's Per Diem, Parkside is looking to bring fresh, local farm-to-table dining to Downtown Los Gatos. Housed in the former Le Boulanger (RiP), Parkside's décor is classy and elegant, and has a decidedly New American menu with a little Italian thrown in for flair. The Good:*Reservations thru OpenTable *Very romantic ambiance and would be a terrific place for a date night. *Happy Hour Seven Days a week (3 p.m. - 5 p.m.)*Outdoor parklet dining with heaters *Reasonable amount of gluten-free food on the menu that's*Service by Lexi was outstanding. She was fast, efficient, and personable. The staff as a whole was really good. Not Michelin good, but better than your average restaurant. *I enjoyed the seasonal butternut squash soup, and if you want to share a bowl they can split one serving into two bowls. *Great Bar scene*Carissa raved about her Horseradish Salmon--and she doesn't even like horseradish! But the fish was cooked well and the horseradish flavor was pleasant and not overwhelming. *I enjoyed my fried chicken, despite the white meat being slightly overcooked. The skin/crust was crispy and full of flavor, and the concomitant mashed potatoes & gravy were a reminder of Turkey Day to come...The Meh:*Street Parking in DTLG can be a hassle Fri-Sun, but the rest of the week you should be pretty good to go. There are some lots nearby, as well, but make sure to read the signage.*"Substitution politely declined," per the menu. Make of that what you will, I'm not really a substitution kinda guy but if you are you're SoL.*They *seem* to have a decent selection of vegetarian/vegan items but, unlike the gluten-free items, they're not clearly denoted with a "V" or something. The Ugly:*Credit card needed to secure the cancelation as there's $25/per person cancelation charge on reservations if not canceled within 24hrs.Conclusion: Great date night spot with fantastic service. The food was also quite good, as we're a tough crowd to feed, but it wasn't great--altho there's lots of potential. So in the meantime Los Gatos Parkside scores a solid 4.5*, but it's still highly recommended."

This downtown Menlo Park staple is serving up more chances to enjoy their incredible food, and trust me, it's worth it.There isn't a lot of brunch photos for camper online so allow me to feed your eyes with the me documenting our satisfying brunch.Came hungry and majorly craving carbs, so my girl friend and I went all in--Logan's Orange + Currant Scones for her, Challah French toast for me. Her scones? Warm. Flaky--paired with fresh butter that gave such a buttery finish to every bite. She wasn't super hungry, so the "on the side" menu was perfect. Love that they offer that option. Me on the other hand? I was ravenous. LET ME TELL YOU--the Challah French toast was life-changing. A thick, buttery slab of challah, cooked perfectly, ridiculously satisfying to cut and bite into, and topped with macadamia nut butter that added just the right nuttiness and umami. I can't even describe in words how good it was, no words would do it justice, you'd have to try it for yourself. Shoutout to our server and the kitchen for the amazing service and accommodating my request to swap the apples for strawberries. I'm 100% sure those apples would've been amazing, but sadly, my gut does not agree.Thought I'd still be starving, but that French toast was actually the perfect level of satisfying. Took my chicken apple sausages for family to enjoy; I'm already dreaming of my next French toast bite. Service? A+. Ambiance? Perfect for a girly brunch. I really like the restaurant, and my husband and I were just saying we should come back even when we aren't staying at the hotel. It's one of the most family friendly restaurants I have been to, but to make it even better the food and drinks are great as well. The atmosphere is very relaxed and because the restaurant is indoor-outdoor, kids can easily go back and forth between the table and grassy area (with cornhole, giant Jenga, giant Connect Four). On our recent visit, we ordered 2 kids meals. The butter pasta was good but cooked al dente so it was a little firm for our 1-year-old (but perfectly fine for our older daughter). The fruit salad had strawberries and blackberries which was great - it wasn't just melon! The pizza is more like a flatbread than a traditional pizza just FYI and the chocolate chip cookies were really good! I like how the kids drink can be milk, apple juice, lemonade, orange juice, or a Shirley temple. The adults enjoyed the margherita flatbread, berry salad, and skewers. The skewers were actually from the yakitori grill but we brought them back to eat at our table. I think they are only available on the weekends. Be sure to take advantage of the happy hour. But the natives know that a few excellent eateries still survive here, defiantly keeping the darkness at bay, and waiting it out until the day when the city finally gets around to reconnecting them again with the rest of downtown. The five stars are for the pasta and cheeses - because there are 2 or maybe 3 different layers of cheese activity going on here. Some mellow cheese thing going on top, and some salty cheese thing happening in the middle, and maybe some croissant cheese thing going down at the bottom.I don't know enough about cheese, so maybe it is something else. But this is not the cheese on my Doritos or Cheetos. This is not the cheese on the carne asada fries.
